Sasha Pushed into the BDSM scene, passed and shared between Dominants like property… I have found myself with the cruelest of them all. Using me for show at a club, his sadistic torture nearly breaks me. The only thing that keeps him from taking my life is the help of a stranger—Liam Evans. Broken, afraid, and not knowing a life without a Dom, I seek out the only man to have ever shown me kindness... Never expecting that he would become my Master.
Liam I’ve always had a type—strong, independent, and well-trained… Submissives with an indulgence for a rough hand. Yet, when battered and bruised Sasha is thrust into my life, I can’t deny my need to protect her. She hesitantly agrees to a contract—six months for me to teach her that this lifestyle is far more than enduring pain to please her Master. After flourishing as my student, she becomes the greatest submissive I’ve ever had. The one I don’t think I can ever let go.
J.L. Quick is an author of spicy, dark, contemporary (18+) romance novels and novellas. Utilizing a mixture of her life experiences and Master's degree in Psychology, she creates deep, rich characters who battle their demons while finding savage and brutal love. In her free time, she enjoys reading, food festivals, visiting distilleries, and cult-classic movies. J.L. Quick resides in the Mid-Atlantic with her husband and the pack of pitties.
Sasha has lived the past six years as a trained submissive to a variety of horrifically abusive dominants. Her latest one has finally gained access to the Triskelion club, and is taking her there to show her off. Unbeknownst to the owners of the club, with strict rules around SSC and RACK, they're about to let a monster within their midst.
*****
This was such a solid and enthralling read. If you're unable to handle scenes of abuse, I'd steer clear, as we get a very detailed and accurate look at fake Dominants perpetuating abuse in pretty heavy ways for the first quarter of Sasha's POV, along with further references and details later on.
If you're okay with reading scenes with it, this one will absolutely have you hooked. We get to see how Sasha is broken down into a shell of who she could be. With Liam coming to save her and offering his home, support and tutelage to show what a proper BDSM dynamic should look like. I was a little shocked at how fast he offered to take her on as his submissive, as in real life that would be a massive red flag. Knowing the book was shorter I let it slide, but I was side-eyeing Liam for a bit until we got to see how he embraced her masochism in heathy ways.
This book was incredibly fast paced, which made it an addictive read, however it did leave some character development wanting. Not enough to take away from the book, but I really wish we did get a bit more of both of them, as this felt like a teaser to more depth. The twist? Wholly unexpected and immediately has me interested to see how that plays out in the next book in the series.
All in all, I love this authors writing style and how she tackles the lifestyle, and I hope she delves into longer novels so we can get more of each character at once!

Thank you to The Author Agency for the digital ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Master delivers another intense story that is filled with power, dominance and spice. I literally couldn’t put this book down and read it in less than 24hrs.
Liam and Sasha’s story starts off as contractual but quickly unraveled into something more. Watching Liam finally let himself love, be loved and finally be vulnerable after years of being closed off was beautiful but unfortunately came with challenges given his line of work. The same can be said about Sasha, seeing her regain her power and finally experience love was powerful part of this story. In a sense, they truly saved each other. And when they explored their dynamic, it was pure fireworks! They turned up the heat at every opportunity.
Seeing Sacha be welcomed into the Evans’ family with open arms by the brothers and their families was chef’s kiss. They way these ladies support each other is amazing. And you can’t mention this family without talking about the banter between the brothers. It’s always top notch! You never know what will come out of their mouths.
The Evans brothers have such a strong hold on me and I cannot wait to see what comes next for them!
I absolutely recommend this book!
*Please check the trigger warnings beforehand because it touches on sensitive subjects.
I would like to thank J.L. Quick and the Author Agency for the opportunity to read and review Master.

Ok these Evan’s men! Just when you think you have met your fave one, the author introduces another! And boy is Liam delicious!! I didn’t predict Sasha’s twist at all. And was very much surprised when it was revealed. But by the end of the book I was like Wait.. I have questions!! Don’t end it there!!!
I’ve been enjoying J.L. Quick’s Men of Club Triskelion Series. Each of the Evans brothers is unique but does love passionately. Liam is no different. When he meets Sasha, she is broken—physically and mentally. Liam offers Sasha a six-month contract to teach her what the lifestyle should be like, not what she had before. And Sasha gets so much more out of it than she anticipates.
Liam works with her on the relationship dynamics and builds her confidence, which was pretty nil in the beginning. I liked how J.L. Quick handled the transition from Sasha’s former life and differentiated it from her new relationship with Liam.
Of course, I loved the Evans brothers' guest appearances, especially Connor. I love Connor. I look forward to discovering which brother the next book will focus on.
ARC review: 5⭐️ Master is book 4 in the Men of Club Triskelion series featuring Liam Evans & Sasha Martin.
Sasha is a submissive who has been moved around between different doms over the years and each one has been seemingly worse then the last. While she’s with her most recent dom Isaac, he takes her to club Triskelion and wants to show everyone how good she is for him.
While Sasha is bound, gagged and enduring a gruelling punishment at Issac’s hand, Liam must intervene and rescue her after she looses consciences on the bench and Issac doesn’t stop. After ensuring she’s taken care of at the hospital, Liam and his brother Tristan pay Isaac a visit.
Sasha goes to see Liam after she’s discharged form hospital, and he offers to show her what a dom/sub relationship should look like and how she should be treated.
However after signing a contract and spending more time together, both develop real feelings for the other. But what happens when secrets from Sasha’s past come to light and she’s forced to leave Liam. Will Liam and his brothers do whatever they can to get her back ?
I love this series so so much! The found family aspect and how welcoming the lot is when a new girl is introduced and how the brothers will stop at nothing to protect their family! Another top notch book is this series and I can’t wait for Conor’s story next !!
I loved Liam & Sasha so much! Their story was tragic & beautiful with more of the latter.
This book just like the others before it is written so well. This is not just spice although there is a lot, it flows with a plot. We get a bit of mafia, family, dark romance, & found family. Together, these things make for an excellent book from an amazing author. Fabulous job on this, J.L. Quick!
J.L sucks you into the stories. I could literally binge read them. I finished this book in 24 hours. Clubs to Mafia wars. This book elicits heart ache and love strong enough to give everything you own away!!

Star: ️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
J.L. Quick delivers an intense and emotional journey in Master, the fourth installment in the Men of Club Triskelion series. This gripping romance explores healing, trust, and the power of a true Dominant/submissive connection.
Sasha has lived a life of fear, pushed into the BDSM world and subjected to cruelty at the hands of the wrong people. Used and passed around like property, she is left broken and afraid—until Liam Evans steps in. As the only man to show her kindness, he becomes her lifeline, the one she turns to when she has nowhere else to go.
Liam is a seasoned Dominant who has always preferred experienced, confident submissives. But when Sasha enters his life, damaged and uncertain, his instincts shift from desire to protection. Offering her a contract for six months, he sets out to teach her that submission isn’t about suffering—it’s about trust, control, and mutual pleasure. What starts as a lesson in safety and self-discovery soon turns into something neither of them expected. Sasha flourishes under his care, becoming the most captivating submissive he’s ever trained, and soon, letting her go no longer seems like an option.
This book is a powerful exploration of trust and emotional growth within the BDSM lifestyle. Liam is a firm yet compassionate Dominant, guiding Sasha toward reclaiming her own agency and pleasure. Sasha’s transformation from a woman defined by past trauma to one who learns to embrace her desires is both heart-wrenching and empowering. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the push-and-pull of their relationship keeps the tension high.
Master is an emotionally charged, steamy, and deeply satisfying romance that goes beyond physical dominance to explore the true essence of submission. J.L. Quick crafts a story filled with passion, healing, and the kind of connection that leaves a lasting impact. A must-read for fans of protective Dominants, second chances, and BDSM stories with heart.
This is book 4 in the Men of Club Triskelion series and the second that I have had the opportunity to read. This series follows a group of Irish Mafia brothers that also run a BDSM club. I really enjoyed this book in the series. I love most books with the Irish mafia trope, especially these brothers that have strong ties to Ireland, even using some Gaelic at times. Aside from the main characters, who are so strong and I felt such a strong connection to, the relationship between the brothers makes this such an enjoyable read. They are so close but also constantly tease each other to the point of violence. You can feel the love in their ribbing of each other. This is a very dark romance and there are some definite triggers. But I loved these characters so much and have become such a big fan of this series.
There were times while reading that I felt such a strong anger rising at the abuse of the dom/sub relationship that Sasha was made to endure. Her prior doms are what give that lifestyle a bad name. It is a relationship based on trust and each of these men abused that trust by taking advantage of someone that was seeking love and someone that wanted her. I wanted to cry for her because she didn’t deserve what she endured. Liam has had his heart ripped from his chest. The woman he loved loved him back, but she could not be apart of the mafia lifestyle that he lived. Liam refuses to let anyone back into his heart, but will let some into his bed. He is drawn to Sasha and agrees to show her how these relationships are supposed to be. But the chemistry between these two is two strong and real feelings develop. I was hooked into their story and was sucked in until the end.
I have really fallen for this series. It is dark and includes some strong dom/sub themes, but the plot of this book is so enjoyable. It is very strong on the spice and as soon as Liam and Sasha meet, the spice is very enjoyable. This book is definitely one that is such an enjoyable read. I have become attached to the entire family of Irish brothers and their significant others and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
One thing that amazes me about JL Quick is, for as many of her books as I’ve read, there is not one ounce of repetition, similarity in her stories or her characters. They are all unique and pack their own punch. Master is book 4 in the Men of Club Triskelion series. Each book just as good as the next. I wasn’t sure I could ever get over Finn and well, I’m not but, holy hell Liam is the dream, intense, sensitive, disciplined Dom. Having his own heart hurt, he has sworn off emotional relationships of any kind. Sasha has had her own horrible whirlwind of an abusive past full of Dom wannabe men that don’t have the slightest clue how to behave in the BDSM world.
“I might fuck you like I don’t care about you, but I have the utmost respect for you and your submission. Tending to you afterwards is my way of making sure you know that.”
When Sasha is broken and left for dead Liam‘s natural protective instinct takes over. This story is a powerful one full of self discovery, endurance, realization of self-worth, trust and true love. Emotions run high throughout this entire book. The chemistry between the characters is palpable and the evolution of trust in their relationship is beautifully written.
“There are no limits to what I would do for you” – his confession blows over my lower lip dash” to help heal you the way you’ve healed me.”
By the way, this book is not all sunshine and roses. It would not be a JL book without action and angst. So much happens and all of the excitement both dramatic and spice is masterfully woven together. The brother’s dynamic along with their significant others is pure perfection and I’ll never get tired of the banter. I just can’t get enough of JL Quick’s words. She is an auto buy author for me. Each of the books in the series is interconnected and can be read as a standalone BUT your reading enjoyment is monumentally enhanced if you read them in order. Jump into her books now you’ll be happy you did.

At this point, J.L.Quick's books are an instant read because I know what I'll be expecting: short chapters of light plot with intense smut and chemistry between the characters. That's perfect for me! I find it fast-paced & fun. Relaxing too.
Ha. Now you know my idea of relaxing.
I think it's briliant to point out that being submissive equals being confident & being a dom comes with heavy responsibilties. We're too absorbed in the idea that submission means being timid and closed-off, sometimes it means that you rip off all your rights too. The view of this story is to tell that submission is an act of letting yourself being taken care of by a capable dom who prioritizes your pleasure in the ways you want it to be performed. And in return, the dom will have a sub who's willing to trust them & is encouraged to explore many ways to submit. At the end of the day, you're still you. Your fantasy is just handled more fittingly, is all. Oh and I love how the story notes the difference between abuse and correction as well hurt and harm.
I really like the communication and boundaries between Liam and Sasha. He puts her first & is very considerate. There's the "what did they do to you?" moment and "what did I do to you?" realization that's just so good. He makes sure of her history so he won't repeat the same mistake even as simple as a nickname. Sasha is a soft yet strong character. I'm happy to see her being re-introduced to the lifestyle more properly. There's also the found-family trope that's familiar within the series.
📚📚📚 OMG LIAM I AM OBSESSED WITH!! All of the Evan’s brothers stand very high on my book boyfriend’s list but Liam wow just stole my heart away! When Liam comes across Sasha during an abusive send he instantly goes into action of saving and being extremely protective of her. It’s the “She’s mine” for me! The way Sasha breathes life and happiness back into Liam was everything to watch play out. He’s battling internally hard with being in love with her until he finally lets it free. Liam really makes Sasha see her worth and guides her into her best self. The end has me definitely pacing but it wouldn’t be a J L Quick book without giving me a little anxiety! The spice was top tier as always!! I highly recommend this book and series if you haven’t experienced it yet!

Thank you so much for sending me a copy for an honest review in my own words. #giftedcopy
So much happens in this story in what seems like a short amount of time. But the truth is that I got so caught up on how good the story was that I momentarily forgot about all the small time jumps in it, and by the end of it I was left with a "wait, is that it?" feeling, but in a good way.
I'm not gonna lie, those first few chapters, seeing Sasha's relationships with abusers using the role of Dom as a justification for their actions, were rough. But the moment Liam met and saved Sasha, and we got to see the contrast between an abuser and a real Dom, and how a Dom should behave and treat their sub was absolutely beautiful.
I loved how we got to see how good a healthy Dom/sub relationship can be for the sub. The way that Sasha came into her own and became a woman with the confidence to, in the words of Liam, stand toe-to-toe with any man. But also the way that Sasha helped Liam see how good a permanent relationship can be when you've found your person.
One thing that never fails in the books in this series is the family concept. How tight-knit the Evans are, and once you become one of them, that's it. There's no going back, and they'll have your back forever. This is proven when Liam sacrifices literally almost everything to save Sasha from the new Pakhan, and his brothers, even though annoyed at first, admit that they would've done the same.
Quote: “Pulling you from that bench and breathing life into you, I never imagined... That you’d be saving me.”
If you loved 50 shades of grey but looking for something a little darker, then Master is for you! This book does start very dark but gets a little lighter at 20%. But this book will hook you in and you will not be able to put it down.

Man do things get very interesting very quickly.
*** I want to thank Jl Quick and The Author Agency for giving me the chance to read Master as an ARC. In exchange for my honest review and thoughts.****
3.5 rounded up. It was a mix of BSDM, trauma, and mafia. Engaging and the twist came out of nowhere for me. Will for sure be picking up the rest of the series because who doesn’t love a bunch of Irish mafia men? _____________________________ I went into this not realizing it had a mafia element, and I was pleasantly surprised. Their Irish heritage was just another positive realization in my books. I liked the family aspect throughout the whole book, how they accepted Sasha, and how they supported Liam.
The first ten chapters were all backslashes and an intro into what the lives of the MCs had been like before, which I didn't love even if it was a way to show what Sasha had been through and explain why Liam was like he was. I did like how he showed her what a real dom is like and that she didn't need to be a silent participant because being a sub is not that. The sexual part of the relationship was perfect, but I felt like Liam gave in so quickly and the love came immediately after that, so it felt a little rushed.
I didn't see the twist coming at all, and I wanted to smack Liam for thinking what he thought (iykyk) but the family pulled up and gave him a verbal smack so that he finally got his mind right. I'm going to go back and read all three previous books while I wait for Connor's story because I really enjoyed this one!
Thank you to J.L. Quick and the author agency for this e-arc.
"𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖." – That one line doesn’t just set the tone; it defines it. This book is an emotionally charged, deeply psychological journey into the darkest corners of BDSM, trust, and healing.
Sasha’s journey is raw and painful, but it’s Liam Evans who makes all the difference. Unlike the so-called Dominants of her past, Liam doesn’t just take—he teaches, he heals, and he claims.
Sasha’s past trauma is harrowing, and her journey to reclaim herself is both painful and empowering. Master doesn’t shy away from the stark contrast between abuse and true dominance, delivering a brutal yet beautiful story that stands out. And Liam? His patience, his precision, and the way he claims without breaking—it’s everything.
Sasha has gone from one bad relationship to another. She's found herself at the hands of poser Dominants using the lifestyle as a way to act out their abuse. When she's pushed into a scene at the club by her worst abuser, it's Liam who steps up as her hero. Even though they're strangers he can't sit back and watch her lose her life in a dangerous situation, especially not in his own club.
Abuse and mistreatment is all Sasha has ever known. She's always been at the mercy of a Dom and now without one she's a bit lost. When she seeks out the man who rescued her, she never imagined she would agree to be taught by him. He wants to show her what the lifestyle and a D/s relationship should really be about. He wants to help her build back her strength and confidence.
They agree on a contracted time as teacher and student. But it's not just Liam who pulls Sasha in. It's also his loud, outspoken, bold, and protective family that she's drawn to. He's not ready for a real relationship and she's not ready to trust anyone with her secrets or her heart. But how long can they really hold themselves back?
I loved Liam and Sasha together. There was an instant connection between them right from the start. The brothers and their beloved women welcomed her immediately and saw how much they effected and healed each other. The whole Evans crew is just fantastic and I can't wait for more.
Another fantastic Evans Brothers book. I can't believe there are only two more books left in this series. I will miss the brothers so much when it's over. Like the rest, the story was engaging, whether it was the love story or the mafia story, it kept my attention the whole time and i devoured it in one day. I did not see that twist coming. The spice was spicing, which is to be expected with the brothers owning a sex club.
Sasha comes from a bad past and, even worse, previous masters. Omg, my heart broke for that poor girl. She really went through it, but Liam showed her what a real dom/sum relationship should look like and how it was to be properly loved.
Liam also had a sad past and swore off relationships, but from the first meeting he has an instant connection and comes to her rescue. He enters a dom/sub-only relationship with Sasha and has a strict no feelings or kissing rule, but when he finally says F it and gives into his feelings for her, I was so giddy.
The banter between the brothers as always was top freaking notch. I cried laughing so many times. Finn as always loved to stir the pot, but Conor was the one who had me LMAO so much and I absolutely can't wait for his book next. Also, the female relationships with all the women in their life always makes me so happy, and they welcomed Sasha in with open arms.
Liam and Sasha meet when he saves her from almost dying in his family's bd$m club. She's been with a lot of bad dominants, but her natural submissive side has been hurt badly. Liam immediately stepped up to the plate to be with her while she healed and entered into an agreement to learn as he's a trained Master.
The chemistry between the two is hot, and she definitely feels the attraction that he's trying to ignore as he moves her into his place to "learn." It takes a few stumbles before he realizes his ignoring attraction is failing miserably, and I kept eagerly eating my "popcorn" waiting for the F>*^ it moment. Jl delivered it when it came speeding through after a few bd$m lessons. I thoroughly enjoyed the work up with her public edging lessons he treated her to at the restaurant with his sister in laws, especially when they all called it when she came back from the restroom with flushed cheeks. I personally would die if my soon to be in laws all knew or suspected the edging. Liam was unexpected for me as most of my thoughts were on Finn and even Connor. I love watching these men fall hard for their ladies at Triskelion. This one does come with trigger warnings, so be safe out there, girlies.

Master if the 4th book in the Men of Club of Triskelion series and I don’t know what narcotics J.L. Quick put into this series, but I am hooked.
What starts out as a platonic “student” relationship between Liam Evans and Sasha to show her a BDSM relationship can be a healthy when men don’t use it as an excuse for abuse, turns into more – what they were both looking for.
While it was difficult to read about the abuse Sasha suffered in the beginning of her story. Please check trigger warnings on J.L. Quick’s site if you are sensitive.

This is the story of Sasha and Liam. Sasha has lived her life in fear in the BDSM world and has always ended up around the wrong people in a world that is supposed to be the total opposite of what it is supposed to be. She was certainly used many times and passed around as if she was nothing. This has left her scarred and very broken. But then one day she meets Liam Evans. He is the only man who has really shown her any kindness and she finds a lifeline in him. She has no where else to turn and LIam seems like her safe place to be. Liam is a Dom and has been for a good while. He prefers his submissive to be confident and experienced. When Sasha shows up in his life though broken and hurt he feels this need to protect her with all that is in him. The thing he thinks is best to do for her is offer her a six month contract where he teaches her what the world she chooses to be in should be. It's trust, control and pleasure for both parties involved. Easy enough until things take an unexpected turn that no one saw coming. I loved reading this book. It was really good and one about finding your home in places you least expect them.
@jlquickwrites ma'am! You goddess! You absolute queen! I don't think there will ever be a day I'm not obsessed with your writing!!!
Sasha has endured years and years of trauma and abuse by doms, when she brought to Club Triskelion for an exhibition with her current Dom, Liam sees our girl being pushed to the brink of almost death. After breaking into the room and saving her life our sweet Liam does what any of our men in this series would do....he goes to kill her dom haha.
After Liam's fiance leaves as she's not willing to accept and be a part of the mafia life and risk losing Liam he vows to never date again, he spends the time having short term contracts working with and training submissives. But then he lays his eyes on our Sasha, after learning how she was treated by her previous doms he offers her a contractor to teach her and provides her a place to live.
Through all the attempts to not fall for Sasha Liam can't help but find his true happiness in her, through love and through gaining her trust! Through the ups, downs, PTSD type moments, and a BIG secret Liam and Sasha truly do get their HEA that they both more than deserve!
The Evans Brothers, they are mouth watering, dangerous and will burn down the world for those they love. They may be Doms, but they love the women in their life. They especially love it when they are bratty😏
J.L Quick has a way with words, and she doesn't disappoint with Master. Liam and Sasha, it was an instant need to protect and seek revenge for her when Liam first saw Sasha and what she was enduring. His need to save her and teach her worth to her was so strong. He needed her, and when he got revenge for her, he made sure it wasn't anything less than what the person deserved.
Sasha has had a bit of an unfortunate past. She is a Sub, but she has had one abusive Dom after another, just breaking her. My heart broke for her, and how bad she was treated had me questioning life decisions. She not only endured physical pain but emotional and mental pain as well. It was hard not to feel her sadness, and Liam's desire to heal her.
Liam was drawn to her, and together, they healed each other. Liam went through his own heartache when an ex he thought was going to be his wife broke his heart and left. He promised himself never to fall for another until Sasha.
The Evans Brothers are still at war with the Russians, and this definitely puts Sasha in danger. She has secrets that can bring danger to her, Liam, and his family. She has to make a decision that could either save Liam or get him killed. Evan, if saving him, means breaking her own heart.
Liam will do whatever it takes to keep her. He will never let anyone or anything take her away from him, and I mean anything.
The twist with Sasha secrets had me on an emotional rollercoster. I went from yelling at her, being heartbroken, and just straight-up speechless. I loved every moment from the beginning to the end. I was once again hooked from page 1. The epilougue was a mixture of HEA and spice. I can't wait for the next book. The Evans are the true meaning of what family should be, no matter the darkness.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+++ and the spice scenes were so detailed 👌 chef kiss 💋 J.L Quick 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶+++.

Wow! Ok I felt all the emotions while reading Master, by J.L. Quick. The fourth book in the Men of Triskelion Series, Master is Liam’s story.
This book is a total 5 star read for me, but it is heavy. The first part was so hard to read due to everything Sasha goes through. My heart ached for her. I cried with such relief when Liam found her.
Around 70 percent I was thinking oh wow, this book is already tied up so nicely I guess it’s smooth sailing from here….holy crap no. The secrets, Ivan, the Bratva…everything comes to head and it is fantastic. Absolutely everything I’d hope Liam’s book to be. His love for Sasha is put to the test. Will they survive?
Of course it wouldn’t be our favorite Irish boys without a heavy dosing of beating each other up and playfully flirting with their brother’s girls. I absolutely adore Rory as well. This family is everything.
Thanks you to J.L. Quick and The Author Agency for the ARC of this book.

“I will hurt you, but I will never harm you.” Secrets always have a way of coming out of the dark and into the light. Intense and gritty, this is Liam and Sasha’s story.
Sasha has been living the BDSM lifestyle as a sub. Her history of Dom’s include merciless, angry men who have abused her, passed her around and had little to no respect for her and her needs.
In a right place, right time situation, Liam, a well experienced Dom/Master, saves Sasha from a dangerous situation. He instantly drawn to her. She is not a sub he’d typically get involved with, but she illicit from him a desire to teach her, mentor her, most importantly, protect her.
Their story is one of trust and desire. Learning from each other what their body and heart wants and what they’re willing to sacrifice in order to have it.
J. L. Quick continues to welcome us to the Evan’s family. They love and protect each other fiercely and will do anything for each other. Her incredible writing and story telling is a gift she gives us with each instalment of this series. Liam and Sasha’s journey is complicated by the secrets she hides. Can Liam forgive her?
Where to start? Liam is amazing. Don’t get me wrong—all the Evans brothers are incredible, but Liam is on another level. Sasha has endured the worst of the BDSM world, leaving scars not just on her skin but on her spirit. Liam, who enjoys impact play, is different—he always prioritizes the well-being of his submissives. JL masterfully weaves past and present until Liam and Sasha’s paths finally cross—and when they do, it’s extraordinary. Liam becomes Sasha’s savior in more ways than one, helping her realize that BDSM isn’t about suffering or humiliation. Through him, she learns that submission is a gift—one that should be valued and cherished. More importantly, she discovers that she is worthy of love and care. Her journey of healing is inspiring, but this is still a mafia book, and when buried secrets come to light, everything threatens to unravel. The plot twist is completely unexpected, and the ending? It leaves us with questions and an urgent need to get our hands on the next book.
