She came for a new life and found the love she never saw coming!

Lisa
I sacrificed everything in my quest to be the first female partner at my law firm – friends, a personal life, and even carbs. But when I get passed over for my promotion because I’m not married, I lose it. Next thing you know I’m a hot mess, unemployed and stuck in my condo eating junk food. That’s when my ex-fiancé’s new fiancée and her over-the-top mother offer me a a fresh start in the picturesque town of Cedar Creek. Complicated right? But what more do I have to lose?

Sean
Despite watching my sisters find their true loves, I never figured I’d find the perfect woman for me. Until I meet Lisa. She’s a city girl with a broken heart, afraid of wildlife and even more terrified of opening up. But that’s okay. I’m a patient guy and I believe in the power of second chances. With everyone in our small town rooting for us, it won’t be long before our newest lawyer discovers that some things are worth taking a chance on – like love.

Matched with the Firefighter was very enjoyable to read. It got right to the point, and I’m not complaining. I went into this for a fun rom com style story. I liked both the main characters. I think it could easily have been a full length book but it was still great as a novella. I liked it so much I’m going to find all her other stories and adding them to the top of my to be read list.

I love the concept of intentionally writing a book and an entire series under the idea they have to be able to be read in one sitting. While this book didn’t leave me wanting for more, it served its purpose and again, love the lunchtime reading concept.
