Working the land and raising my boys as a single mom is the only life I’ve ever known. Teaching during the day and parenting at night, my world begins and ends with them. But between managing a struggling farm in small town Whispers and nurturing a growing side hustle, I dream of a life beyond poverty, a chance to turn our hopes into reality.

I’m done living on handouts.

Then Sawyer shows up on my doorstep, the new local lawyer. A billionaire from the city, polished and privileged, he’s clueless about small-town struggles, where food stamps and church donations mean survival. He says he wants to help, but I’m not some damsel in distress. His suits are pristine, my jeans are torn. His shoes gleam, my hair’s a wild mess. He’s polished perfection, and I’m pure chaos. Total opposites.

Yet, somehow, he breaks through my walls. And when he does, we’re like a wildfire, intense, consuming, unstoppable. He’s everything I never dared to want, offering me a fairytale I never thought I’d have.

But just as I begin to believe in a future beyond the struggle, danger comes knocking. The farm feels less like home and more like a target, my side business teeters on collapse, and my fears grow louder than ever. Life has knocked me down before, but this time, getting back up feels impossible. And the last thing I want is for Sawyer to fall down with me.

Sawyer's book was a long-awaited one. He was a down-to-earth, gentle billionaire who was always there for his friends and family.

Annabelle is a single mom. She struggles with her life when it comes to balancing her farm, her job and taking care of her twin boys. This is where Sawyer steps in. He is mesmerized by her from the first time they meet, and he is determined to help her in every way he can. She is quite independent and doesn't allow him to take pity on her. But for him, it is not a pity. It was a way to help her. But his desires quickly turn into love.

I loved the dynamics between those two. They were literally perfect for each other. She is feisty, strong, brave and fully lovable. He on the other hand is hard - working, handsome, carrying and ready to do anything for his woman. It took a while for him to break down the walls she built, but it was worth it. Annabelle couldn't believe that a man like him wants to be with her and her boys, but as soon as she realized he loved him as well, she finally let herself believe.

There was a lot of steam between them and their love scenes were hot and passionate. I enjoyed every minute reading those scenes 🥵.

Overall, I loved reading Sawyer and Annabelle's love story ♥️.

Sawyer is my new favorite book in this series! Talk about SWOONING over this man!! He literally is all green flags and I love seeing how much he cares for Annabelle and her boys. He effortlessly steps up to help in any way that the can and I love him for it. The suspense was keeping me on the edge of my seat and I devoured this book!

ᴀᴜᴅɪᴏʙᴏᴏᴋ:
Narrated in duet by Amanda Stribling & Robert Hatchet and they brought this story to life. I could not stop listening because it was narrated so well and I'm obsessed with this audiobook!

There’s something in the water in Whispers and I’d like a cold, tall drink.

This book is about redemption and an awakening.

Annabelle took back her life, no longer living in the shadows.

Sawyer realized that there’s more to life than the big city and big corporate deals.

I loved how the story of Annabelle and Sawyer came together (plus Kevin & Noah). There was so much depth to this story.

I also love that all the other couples were present in this book as well.

I can’t wait to read Sutton’s book. I highly recommend this series.

Duet narrated by Amanda Stribling and Robert Hatchet
📅 Early Release Day: 27 September 2025

His love language is acts of service. Enough said.

Sawyer is reserved, grounded and steady but he loves in such a big and thoughtful way, and it shows in every gesture, especially toward Annabelle and her boys.

One of the most emotionally resonant parts of this story is how effortlessly Sawyer steps into the role of father figure. His care for Annabelle’s two boys isn’t just sweet—it’s soul-deep and instinctive, the kind of quiet devotion that doesn’t ask for recognition. The moment one of her sons calls him “Dad”? Instant puddle. It was tender, unexpected, and so beautifully written that it genuinely melted my heart.
Sawyer doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t flinch—he just shows up for them, again and again, with a kind of steady warmth that’s rare in romance heroes. It’s not performative or overdone; it feels lived-in and real. That Mets game they were supposed to go to? I was so hoping we’d get to see that scene play out. It felt like such a milestone moment for their new family dynamic, and I was genuinely bummed it didn't happen on page.
Still, the emotional beats we do get are rich and rewarding. Sawyer’s love language is acts of service, and it shows in every quiet gesture, every moment he chooses Annabelle and her boys without hesitation. It’s the kind of love story that doesn’t just make you swoon—it makes you believe. The yearning, the spice, the slow-burn tenderness... it all worked. And the nicknames? “Mama/Lois” and “Superman”? Total swoon. I never thought being called mama would be a sexy thing. Robert Hatchet made it a sexy thing.

What really elevates this book is the balance between sweetness and steam, and the way it leans into emotional intimacy without losing its playful edge. Sawyer may not be the flashiest billionaire, but he’s the kind you root for—and fall for.

The pacing and plot flow are solid—predictable in places, yes, but not in a way that detracts from the experience. I clocked the twist early on, but the emotional payoff and character dynamics kept me invested. I REALLY wanted the antagonist to get what they had coming to them on page, because I'm petty like that, and was left wanting.

The supporting cast also deserves a shout-out. They add texture and warmth, anchoring the story in a community that feels lived-in and real.

This is a sweet, lovable listen that blends heart, heat, and wholesome charm. Perfect for fans of cozy billionaire romances with a strong emotional core and a fall-in-love-with-the-dad energy that’s hard to resist.

So excited for the next book!!

🥃Single Mom
🥃 Class Divide/Rich vs. Poor
🥃 Billionaire
🥃 Small Town
🥃 Suspenseful

Sawyer is one hot shot city Lawyer and I mean he's Hot . We've met him as Tanner's lawyer in previous books. Annabelle is a single mum who we've met initially in Tanner's book she's Kevin's mum who goes into business with Victoria to make Gerties soaps to help supplement her income and keep her boys fed.
she's had a tough life her parents are dead and she got pregnant young , but her husband was a no good waster who was abusive and gambled their money away before he was in a car accident while drunk.
sawyer is forced to take over the local legal offices by Tanner much against his wishes. his first job is to take paperwork about the business to Annabelles farm where he is met by sher standing with her hoe he's smitten and there's instant attraction.
when they start getting close things start o happen to Annabel and her farm. who's out to hurt her.
we get to see more of tanner Connor and Hudson and the lovely town of Whispers .
I love the boys and their interactions with sawyer or see saw as Noah calls him . Annabelle calls him superman and he calls her mama or Lois.
the nice suprise in the extra epilogue is so lovely too.
I got this as an Arc from Samantha but I can't recommend this book highly enough also can't wait for Sutton, sawyers brothers book.

This book!!! Oh and I read this pretty much in one sitting! I loved all the men before this book in this series but can I just say that I am in love with Sawyer! When he came to Whispers he pretty much wanted to leave but then he went a pretty much "fell" literally in love(iykyk) Annabelle was such a strong momma and a strong person all together. Her oldest son I just loved him but the youngest, I just wanted to go through those words and pick him up, the monster spray lol, especially with someone. Sawyer didn't know what had hit him, he didn't think he was a parent model per se and he thought his life was in the city but he soon found out where his true home was. Annabelle had people watching her and things happened when Sawyer wasn't there and he blamed himself for it sometimes, until he found out something and bingo things gotten taken care of. The whole build up was so great and the Sawyer and Kevin relationship was definitely a hard hitter. Oh and that nickname for Annabelle ;) I still love all the town and of course seeing Tanner and Connor and Hudson again. I can't wait for Sutton to have his book soon!

Sawyer, the high flying solicitor is encouraged by his friends to relocate to Whispers and he reluctantly agree’s to split his time between there and his offices in New York until he meets Annabelle and her two boys and things start to change. Their attraction is instant although their initial meeting at the farm doesn’t do much for his ego.
Annabelle, who lost her abusive husband in a car accident is a strong character, working as a teaching assistant full time and also running a small business at her farm.
There’s a mystery surrounding who is causing problems at the farm and whether it relates to Sawyer or herself and there are some anxious moments in the story.
This is offset in many ways by the other characters in the book but my favourite is the way Annabelle’s youngest son calls Sawyer by the name Seesaw, it made me smile each time he shouted it, a lovely touch which lightened the angst caused by the troubles they were going through.
A great story which I found hard to put down.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for leaving my review.

Sawyer is definitely the definition of « one of a kind ». He gripped my heart as well when he fell in the cows manure, on his beautiful behind, in his outrageous expensive suit pants. Unexpected love 💕 finds him in WHISPER, the town no one ever heard of and yet it’s the best place to live. Corporate lawyer and friends with Tanner and Connor, he’s agreed to work for them in WHISPERS where he meets Annabelle, future client and the woman who gives him everything he’s been longing for in his life and it ain’t money. Emotions run high and fast between them, challenges issued, and an unexpected turn of events that rocks both their worlds. A loved this book, hooked from the very first page and I want to move to WHISPER as well 😉! Samantha Skye is the best at taking you there! 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and more !

Sawyer and Annabelle😍

Sawyer is the next book in our Billionaire of Whispers series and was absolutely worth it❣️

Sawyer is drawn to Whispers because of Tanner and Connor, his biggest legal clients…only he’s not as convinced he needs to be there. Until Annabelle, a single mom of two boys, captures his attention when he meets her to drop off paperwork needed for her business with Victoria.

Annabelle and her boys along with Sawyer captured my heart and imagination so thoroughly…I’m not sure I can be put back together. I definitely want to move to Whispers and see what more adventures await us…while scoping out the next billionaire to become its willing captive🥰 And just when you think this author has given you the best story possible, she throws in an extended epilogue which captivates your heart even more☺️

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️‍🩹

ALC in exchange for an honest review.

Book 4 in the Billionaires of Whispers series is Sawyer & Annabelle's story. Annabelle is a single mum to two boys, Kevin, 10, & Noah, 3, and meets Sawyer when he is tasked with delivering some legal papers to her for her new soap side business with Victoria, the FMC from book one. Annabelle's life isn't easy, and she has been struggling to make ends meet since the death of her husband and him leaving her with debts, so this venture is really important to her. Sawyer is a born and raised city slicker who started with nothing and has worked his way up in life. Tanner has been trying to convince him to move to Whispers for years, but he has always refused on the premise that the small town couldn't possibly have anything that would hold his interest... that is until he meets Annabelle and her boys, and he soon finds himself not wanting to go back to the city at all. So when strange things start happening around Annabelle's farm, and her and the boys' safety is in question, can Sawyer protect the woman he has fallen head over heels for?

This gave me the vibes that book one of this series did, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this audiobook. I feel so grateful to have received ALCs for this series, and after not enjoying books 2 & 3 as much as I anticipated, it was so great to have this one hit the mark for me. I thought the relationship development between Annabelle and Sawyer was great; it didn't feel rushed, and the chemistry built as the story went along, and therefore the spice really worked and only added to their connection instead of overshadowing it... and the way he called her Mama... yes please, more of that, thank you.

The suspense element of the story was woven throughout the plot of the book this time too instead of feeling shoehorned onto the end, and again that made such a difference for my overall enjoyment of the story. Due to my pattern recognition, I called who/what was happening from early on, but even finding that I was correct, it didn't take away from my experience of this story at all, but it is why it doesn't get a full 5 stars from me.

Amanda Stribling and Robert Hatchet narrate and suited their roles really well, their delivery of the story was fantastic and some of the extra sounds they made during those spicy scenes were greatly appreciated. 🥵 This is a fantastic addition to this series and I cannot recommend the audiobook enough. Book releases on 30th September. 🌶🌶

ALC Review

Wow, this story had me hooked and I listened within a 24 hour period. I was thrilled to see Amanda Stribling and Robert Hatchet as duet partners for Sawyer and their performances are consuming in the best way.

I’m always so thankful to return to Whispers, and this time by way of a success lawyer and single mom. The found family aspect of this universe grows with each book, and I am happy to feel folded into it.

Annabelle is a single mom raising two young boys. She works hard as an educator, and also, as a soap maker and farmer. Her family gets by, it is certainly a struggle. Sawyer is a lawyer who lives without a worry; he’s friends with Tanner, Hudson and Connor with an occasional trip to Whispers to do some business for the whiskey distillers…until he meets Annabelle and feels drawn to her in ways he never expected.

Amanda Stribling shines in this audio. I felt the character of Annabelle in her soft and steady tone, with a slight southern accent sounding natural and sweet. As a listener I found myself sympathizing with Annabelle’s emotional and financial struggle. Amanda gives her a stoic vulnerability that balances her so well. Not only that — Amanda gives Annabelle hope and longing for this man and when the spice hits, let’s just say Amanda helps Annabelle feel cherished with her performance.

Annabelle is proud of how she provides for her family and has a self-reliance that speaks to the integrity of her character. I adore her and I feel that Amanda understood the assignment — she is instantly likable and the kind of woman you’d want as a friend or family member. Side note- love her kid voice for Annabelle’s toddler. Adorable!

And Robert Hatchet? Anyone who knows me, knows that Robert is all-around one of my favorite voice actors. I was thrilled to see him on this title, and my gosh, he gave Sawyer an off-the-chart swoon-factor. Sawyer is a self-made man who has worked hard to make something of himself after a humble upbringing. Sawyer is a natural helper, despite the money he has in his wallet, and he connects with Annabelle based on this shared bond of simplicity.

Robert has a voice that embodies all of Sawyer: kind, caring, and loving both toward Annabelle and her two boys. Robert gives Sawyer patience and emotional availability in his performance — and when the spice hits, Robert commands the scene in a worshipful and heartfelt way. Additionally, Robert voices some nefarious characters in the story and he gave me chills. So well done! And Robert’s voice as ten year old Kevin had me want to give this sweet boy a hug.

Each book in this series just keeps getting better and better. But so far, this one is my favorite! Mainly because of the plot twist I NEVER saw coming.

Before I even started this book, I knew I was going to love it. Because the billionaires of Whisper are what every girls dreams are made of. Tall, handsome, rich, strong values and morals, AND they would all burn the world down to fight for their women? Yes please!

And Sawyer was no different. Whispers was a place he often visited because he was Tanner and Conner’s lawyer. But now that he was being *forced* to move to Whispers part time to run the law office in town, he decided to try and make the best of it. Even though he really wanted to remain in the city. Or so he thought. One encounter with Annabelle and he was knocked on his ass. From that moment on, he knew he was never going to leave Whispers again.

Annabelle has been struggling as a single mom to make ends meet and take care of her two boys ever since her abusive husband was killed in a car accident. Then Sawyer walked onto her farm with legal paperwork for the soap business and her life was forever changed.

A series of suspenseful events puts Annabelle and the boys at risk, but Sawyer steps up to take care of them and protect what’s now his. And damn if he didn’t do it in the most swoon worthy way possible. He threw down the biggest “what-if” scenario for all of the suspense happening at the farm and my jaw hit the freaking floor when it turned out to be right.

This book was such a quick and fun read, and the suspense made it so that I didn’t want to put the book down.

5 Star Review Sawyer (The Billionaires Of Whispers #4) by Samantha Skye

eBook/Audio
Sawyer is book four in the latest series from Samantha Skye and is my favourite .

I fell hard and fast for lawyer Sawyer and single mum Annabelle.
From the moment they first met at the sparks flew.

Sawyer had been coerced by Tanner to come to whispers in hopes that he will become the towns new lawyer. What he didn’t count on is the attraction he feels for Annabelle.

Annabelle and her son’s farm her family farm and life is not easy. Ever since her abusive ex died they have struggled.

Sawyer is a well written, entertaining book with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in.

The chemistry is definitely there and sizzles between them and it was wonderful to watch as their relationship developed.

Amanda Stribling and Robert Hatchet did a wonderful job of narrating the characters in a variety of voices and brought the story to life for me, doing justice to the story that the author created. Both their voices were easy to listen to and I found myself invested in their performances.

I fell hard and fast for our couple. They were well suited to one another and the relationship he formed with her boys melted my heart.

BRILLIANT !!
LOVED Sawyer by Samantha Skye it is a perfect edition to The Billionaire's of Whispers series,if you have read or listened to the other books in this series then you know Sawyer is a Lawyer.
He is friends with Tanner and his son Conor,so helps with legal stuff and one of his assignments is to meet with Annabelle.Tanner's wifes buisness partner.
The moment they meet at her family farm well it doesn't go to well Sawyer being a bit cocky and Annabelle being very guarded and cautious, equals disaster.
Annabelle has every reason to be wary her ex husband was abusive before he died and she was doing her best to make a good life for herself and her 2 boys.
Yes Annabelle is a badass single mum with fire in her eyes, her back story is heartbreaking and as you get to know what happened to her,you appreciate all the hard work she does for her family, and how strong she actually is.
Sawyer starts off being a bit uptight but he changes and becomes more relaxed as he gets to know Annabelle and her sons.
He falls quite quickly and adorably, I loved the way he wants to take care all 3 of them...and living in Whispers is becoming more attractive to him.
running alongside the budding romance there is also a bit of mystery when strange things start happening on the farm.
There are some real hilarious moments in this book and Annabelle's boys are just adorable..I also guarantee that you will fall in love with Sawyer...Because along with being super sexy he has a big heart,he is so sweet I loved him.
Annabelle is perfect for him and I adored them together.
I am thoroughly enjoying Whispers and this series and Samantha Skyes words are very addictive,I am excited for Sawyer's twin Sutton's book.
Sawyer is a great read and I definitely want to check out the audiobook as I think it will make this book even better.
I LOVED this story.
Excellent.
5 stars- Cat W.

So well written with the perfect mix of spice and suspense. Sawyer flew in like Superman and completely turned around Annabelle and her son’s lives. The twist was a tiny but predictable for me, but it was done well enough that I didn’t care!! Can’t wait to read Sutton’s story!-By Megan

Annabelle, a single mother to two little boys, Kevin & Noah. Running a little farm with the help from her little boys, Annabelle is also a teacher with a side job of making soap with Victoria. Sawyer is the hotshot billionaire lawyer from New York. With Tanner & Connor his billionaire clients, as well as good friends. After Tanner finally convinces Sawyer to move to Whispers, landing on Annabelle door step. Coming spellbound by her beauty, Sawyer can’t stay away, and finds little excuses to go and see her. Growing a friendship, then relationship with her, and growing a bond with her sons.
Having a bad past, Annabelle takes a little extra time to allow her walls down to let Sawyer in. Swinging around the truth after things started happening around the farm. Until it all finally comes to blows and secrets unravel.
I loved Kevin and little Noah, they are both much beautiful babies, Noah made me laugh so much. I felt Annabelle’s pain from her past. I loved Sawyer, for someone who wasn’t so big about not moving to Whispers, he soon came around to the idea before he even allowed himself to admit it.

Spice: 🌶️

I have a serious question for one Miss Samantha Skye….how does one get a one-way ticket to Whispers?! Because I’m SOLD on this town, SOLD on this series, and after finishing this read? SOLD on one capable, endearing attorney named Sawyer Silvers.

Skye delivered another lite suspense romance — a tough as nails single mother (with two dang adorable boys) finds herself crossing paths with a new to town, obvious city slicker in the form of the new small town attorney. These two couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. But rather than it not working — these two actually bring such balance to the other.
And seriously friend, who wouldn’t fall in love with a man that shows up, finds ways to lighten the mental load, uses his words to breathe life into a tired momma (& some heat too!), while helping her make her own dreams come true?! It’s no wonder they find their way forward together. She also brings him new balance - a new version of himself he never knew he wanted or thought he deserved.

This was a lovely read - and like I said, I’m real keen on the town of Whispers as a whole now. And HAVE to see what’s up next for our latest Billionaire Boulevard resident!

I love the world Samantha created in this series! A cozy small town with lots of handsome billionaires strutting around to make the ladies swoon ;-) And even though Tanner will forever be my favorite, Sawyer was nothing to sneeze at! Sawyer and Annabelle seemed like total opposites, but in the end they were more similar than they expected. I love how their relationship evolved. Annabelle was an awesome heroine. So fierce, independent and strong, a true mama bear. Sawyer was a total dreamboat. Protective, caring, generous and hot! We get romance, that small town feel, spice and some good suspense. I loved spending more time in Whispers and can’t wait for the next book to come out!

Safety:
- No OW
- OM: (spoiler!): h’s ex doesn’t want to ‘share’ her and causes issues (not in the relationship)
- No cheating
- No separation / no third act break up.

This one was more suspenseful than the first three but was just as amazing.

This one had a lot less of a build up from the previous stories also. The trail was laid though and it was interesting how she connected the path to them currently.

Sawyer was the least country living type of person out there and yet falling in love with Annabelle changed him at least a little bit.

I really enjoyed watching these two fall in love. He stepped up to be her life partner as she had been living life on her own for about four years. He helped her be able to step out from under the rock she had put herself under ❤️

This gem was narrated by Robert Hatchet and Amanda Stribling both of whom I enjoy listening to!

Was lucky to get an ALC of this beauty of a book and loved it! The story revolves around a single mother trying to raise her boys while taking care of her farm and new soap business and lawyer, Sawyer, who was recently tricked into making a base for his firm in Whispers. These two hit it off the second they met but because of both their histories take it slow. As with the rest of this series, Although mostly a small town romcom, there’s a mystery that follows us throughout the whole book which I loved. Gives the book a nice twist and produces the drama I yearn without need to rely on other tropes (which have their place). After reading 3 books set in this place, I wish I could visit Whispers. The characters and community in each story is amazing.

The audio itself was amazing, duet narration like the previous books and with as much heart. I am a big fan of when narrators do kids voices and the boys were so well done. You could distinguish the 6 year from the teenager without hesitation. I love Robert Hatchet in this and he was Sawyer. I feel like he doesn’t get as much praise as he deserves. First time listening to Amanda Stribling and loved her. She had a beautiful southern accent that fit Annabelle’s character so well. Always a win when you find another amazing narrator.

AHHHH … I can’t say enough about this book ! How one small thing can change your life ! I loved how it made you laugh but also made your heart skip a beat , and the fact that the suspense was so intense that it left you wondering! I loved how this book also resembled real life . Something that most singles moms have to live and it isn’t talked about enough! She does have triggers for the book which she touches base on , but I didn’t find them overbearing like most would make them ! In the end I can’t recommend this book enough! The whole series , her whole line … I absolutely love everything she puts out and they keep getting better and better! Don’t walk run and grab your copy!

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and it was so good. Sawyer is the most delicious lawyer ever. The loving way he took care of Annabelle and her children was so touching. He is romantic, sweet, protective, sexy, smart and kind. The plot of the story was super interesting, and the amount of suspense surrounding Annabelle and her boys kept me on the edge of my seat. I love a good suspenseful romance and this one was perfect. These men in The Billionaires of Whispers series are just pure perfection and I want them all. The duet style narration by Amanda Stribling and Robert Hatchet was phenomenal. They did an amazing job and brought the chemistry between Sawyer and Annabelle to life in the most magical of ways. Great story, great narration, great series!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sawyer: The Billionaire Who Gave Me Trust Issues (in a Good Way)

Look, I pressed play on Sawyer expecting a polished, aloof rich guy who’d breeze into Whispers, sign a few papers, and jet back to Manhattan. Instead, Samantha Skye handed me a grumpy lawyer with a heart so soft it could probably be used as a pillow. Rude.

Sawyer shows up acting like the small-town air is beneath him… then casually becomes the stepdad of the year, business consultant for a soap empire, and resident fixer of all things broken. Pick a lane, Superman.

The duet narration? Perfection. Robert Hatchet’s gravelly lawyer voice is basically an HR violation, and Amanda Stribling delivers Annabelle with just enough bite to make you cheer when she verbally bulldozes him.

There’s mystery, tension, and one particular “Dad” moment that had me making a noise I didn’t know I was capable of. And when the plot twist landed? Let’s just say I trusted no one, not even the chickens.

Skye keeps the spice dialed exactly right—enough to make you sweat, but not enough to make you skip forward awkwardly in public. Sawyer is the kind of audiobook that makes you rethink your billionaire stereotypes… and add “Mama” to your list of kinky nicknames that make you blush

Sawyer is a lawyer who has made appearances in both Tanner and Connor's books. This is his story.
Sawyer had his work, which is his life. He really doesn't want to move to Whispers but Tanner is determined and Sawyer partly relents.
Annabelle is the soap maker behind Gertie's soaps, Victoria's business partner. She has had a difficult life and is raising her two sons, Kevin and Noah, on her own.
Their initial meeting is hilarious but Sawyer keeps coming back. Strange things start happening on Annabelle's farm and Sawyer is determined to protect her and her boys.
Fantastic addition to this series. Also got to meet Sawyer's brother, Sutton, who is the star of the next book. Highly recommended read.

Oh I thought I loved the other billionaires of Whispers but Sawyer just dethroned everyone in one fell swoop. Sawyer the lawyer. At first you don't see it yet, he looks like the cold hard city man but this man was so so sweet, I was swooning so hard! He and Annabelle were the perfect couple. I loved this book so so much!

Samantha Skye is really one of my favorite writers! Her writing style is so smooth and her books have exactly the perfect combination of plot, tention, angst and smut! Pure perfection! Can’t wait for Sutton’s story!

ARC Review of Sawyer by Samantha Skye
* * * * *
A single mother, small town, billionaire romance that carries that super sweet growing family vibe, crazy kids, deadly chickens, and a threat that could tear this new love apart.

Sawyer was thrown out of the concrete jungle and into the countryside, from his safe glass walled and air-conditioned office to the small town of Whispers where he was expected to run his new office and operation. On top of his duties as a lawyer, he is told he is to take part in town duties and be a part of the community. This has led him to the run down farm house of Annabelle and her two children.
Single mother. Gorgeous. Protective and sweet.
Sawyer should have his sights on making sure he doesn't ruin all his expensive suits, but she's soon consuming all his thoughts. From kiddy baseball games to unexpected dinners, their romance blossoms. However, nothing is so simple.
Something in Annabelle's life is causing her stress. She has spent years trying to grow her farm to where it used to be, manage a business, and be there for her children. Small little issues begin to appear more than just coincidence, to the point the happy little home is under threat.
Can Sawyer protect his new love and the kids he adores?

Another 5 start addition to this amazing series that comes with old favourites and a promising potential stories to come. Love coming back to Samantha's books as they come with a fantastic plot, tones of steaminess, and have moments where I need to put my kindle down from laughing so much. Sawyer and his brother's relationship is lightly tapped on but I sense we are going to get a little more later on. Annabelle's background with her husband Steve is vague in certain topics, but it is enough to know that Annabelle is one hell of a woman. Strong, determined, and will do anything for her children.
Cannot wait for more!

This whole series is SO GOOD! But I do think that Sawyer and Annabelle’s story might just be my fave! I LOVED how the relationship between Kevin and Noah and Sawyer developed. The suspense of the story was great, I love when there is a mystery in my romances. Seriously, do yourself a favor and check out this book and the whole series!!

It’s 1 am and I’m up at 6 for work. But you bet I finished this book in 3 hours! That was bloody addictive!!

I was suspecting EVERYONE. Even poor old bob at one point!

Sawyer fell hard and fast and I was here for it! Not once did that man get cold feet about Annabelle or the boys.

Honestly I was even paranoid reading this.. some of the scenes was just touching thriller when she was going out to the shed etc! But damn those boys of her are strong and protective!!

The bar scene OMG. The way she thought she was alone when the whole town was behind her. Damn it was so emotional 🥲

Unsure why I’ve not stumbled across this series before but the rest have been downloaded and being read!! 👀

Ps.. the spice in this book took me 🥵
