Alice Stevenson is the author of Ways to See Great Britain and Ways to Walk in London published by September Publishing. A London-based illustrator, artist, surface pattern designer and educator, Alice’s work explores and visualise ideas and narratives through playful treatment of colour, texture and composition. Alice has been commissioned by a wide range of international publishing clients including illustrating two volumes of poetry for Carol Ann Duffy, the covers of 50 Penguin Classics for Penguin India and the complete works of Maya Angelou for Random House New York. She has also been commissioned by Crabtree and Evelyn, Leo Burnett, Stella magazine, Kellogg’s, University of Sussex, Volvo, Vodafone, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Vogue, Hugo Boss, Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and St Jude’s.
