Riptide

Rate this book
Laura Crowe needs to escape. She’s graduated from university, but somehow all the things she was expecting her new adult life to involve – an interesting job, great friends, romantic relationships – have failed to materialise. She’s waitressing in a bar in Soho when her sister calls with a proposition and so Laura’s long, hot summer in a Cornish surf resort begins.
She’s hoping to find fun, romance and a new direction in life, but when she meets Catherine and Richard, filming a surf documentary, she gets embroiled in their problems, with sinister consequences. Enticed back to London at the end of the season, but with her heart – and her surf board – still firmly in Cornwall, the year culminates in a shocking chain of events that will change her forever.
