Kognitiivse käitumisteraapia tööraamat: tõenduspõhised kognitiivse käitumisteraapia võtted toimetulekuks stressi, ärevuse, depressiooni ja muude probleemidega

Rate this book

Terrific book compiling a set of CBT techniques. For the average person, they can be good resources. For the clinicians, a reminder of what is at their disposal with a quick glance.

PS! Mulle endale meeldisid väga siinsed positiivse psühholoogia harjutused!😍

"The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Workbook" by Michael Tompkins is an indispensable resource. I found the books first chapter, focusing on motivation enhancement, a wonderful and important way to begin a discussion of change and CBT skill development.

Tompkins breaks down complex CBT principles into easily digestible sections that are reinforced through practical exercises. A reader will leave with strong mindfulness and thinking tools, skills to take action on goals, tools around interpersonal relationships, all through encouraging self-empowerment. I see this workbook as a wonderful resources for both individuals in therapy as an added resource or as a strand alone self-help workbook.

I consider "The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Workbook" a must-have for anyone seeking to understand or apply CBT techniques effectively.

Michael Thompkins’s "The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Workbook" masterfully presents cognitive-behavioral theory and clinical technique in a well-organized and easily digestible format. It's a great tool for clinicians, or for anyone seeking skills to decrease anxiety, improve mood and enhance interpersonal relationships. This workbook is a must read. Michael Thompkins proves, once again, to be an authority in the field of clinical psychology.

The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Workbook by Michael Tompkins is a treasure trove of useful cognitive behavioral therapy skills. It contains a blend of relaxation and mindfulness strategies, along with assertiveness, interpersonal skills and time management /productivity concepts. There is a wide range of examples of each concept to help clients with their struggles. It is easy to understand yet thorough in its explanations of CBT strategies. I highly recommend this book.
