Carmen Falcone is a USA Today Bestselling Author who loves writing addictive romance where the scorching chemistry between the couple leaps off the pages, and their relationship is the main course. Her heroines are usually quirky and relatable, with just a touch of snark. And her heroes are impossibly hot, oftentimes stubborn and bossy, but always—always— swoon worthy.
A Brazilian born and bred, she now lives in Texas with her husband, kids and dogs.
When she’s not writing fun stories filled with passion and excitement, she’s skydiving—okay, not true, but she wanted to sound cool. Worth a try, right?
For starters I need to stare at that cover one more time. *wipes forehead* Okay, I think I'm fine to move on. Ms. Falcone brings the Brazilian flare in her latest book. I really enjoyed the opposites attract premise. Addison was sassy and determine which made for a fun read. And then there's Bruno...sigh Bruno. He was the perfect hero. Brass, addictive, and deadly handsome. I'd fake a marriage with him any day. But I probably should ask my husband first. Thanks for one helluva smart, romantic read Carmen.
This is my new favorite Carmen Falcone story. For one thing, this is one of those wonderful books that gives you everything you expect from the title. Obviously I expected a strong, alpha hero and a spirited heroine who would be more than his match. Ms. Falcone more than delivered with Bruno and Addison. Seething passion all around - I’m already happy! Then she goes the extra mile - darker, deeper, and a side helping of culture. Although the Kwani tribe is fictional, they face the same struggles as many of Brazil’s native tribes. I so loved reading this story!
Note: I was provided an advance copy of this book for the purpose of review.
This book was such an interesting read! I learned quite a bit about Brazilian culture (which I knew next to nothing about to begin with) and one of my all-time favorite book tropes is in this one—they hate each other and scream sexual tension until they give up and end up having sex on the floor (ok, not the floor, but close enough). I give it three stars! I had absolutely no idea what I was going to be reading when I picked this book out to read—I was pleasantly surprised. The initial premise is fascinating—the war between two people, one, Addie, who is desperate to save a native Brazilian tribe from Bruno Duarte, who’s selling the land the tribe lives on for development. In order for both to get what they want, Bruno suggests an outrageous bargain—Addie will marry him, and she’ll buy the tribe time to relocate. What neither of them counted on was actually falling in love with each other. I really wanted to see more detail out of this story, though. I found myself trying to figure out Brazilian culture and why Bruno’s big secret (I won’t spoil it for you, though) was met with so much negativity by his family. Because it’s such a focal point of his character development throughout the book, I was confused and a bit frustrated. But despite that, this was a delightfully sizzling read that was very well written! Check it out, Fallers!
A gifted copy was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review by Elyssa.
This author is fast becoming one of my favorites, and with good reason! Each time I sit down to read one of her books I know I am guaranteed a brilliant plot, fast paced romance of the hottest kind and lots of delicious make me want to cry my eyes out emotion.
In this her latest read we get to meet Addison Reed, she has lost her fiancè, but she will not stop at making sure his legacy is protected. Only she has a little bit of a hiccup in her path, that hiccup comes in the form of drop dead gorgeous and truly arrogant landowner, Bruno Duarte, Brazilian millionaire extraordinaire!
Bruno does what ever it takes to thwart Addison at each and every turn and refuses to meet with her, so she is left with no other choice, the man needs to listen to her and so HE WILL!
But aside from Bruno having to duck and dive Addison he has a much bigger problem, his perfect plan to return to Brazil and marry in order to fulfill his father's dying wish, has gone spectacularly wrong with the bride dumping him, and then he is stranded with an idealistic woman hell bent on saving a tribe of people on his land, then suddenly the perfect solution dawns, if feisty and passionate Addison aka his abductor agrees to a bogus marriage then he will relocate the tribe, she'll be happy and so will he.
Only this perfect plan has a flaw, the growing heat of desire is just as hot as the heat from the long Brazilian nights they are to share , and the only subject that remains is a simple one, give in to each other and abandon all plans or let their differences tear them apart.
I am not completely sure where exactly to start my review about this book, because it was all just too incredible, but the first word that comes to mind is wow, just wow! Carmen Falcone has outdone herself! The read was so super hot and so super sexy I had goose bumps with each word and action being described.
I wanted to crawl inside this read and stay there deep in the heart of the Brazillian heat! The character of Bruno was of course incredibly yummy, but the poor man has not had it easy, and I truly felt sorry for him. I loved how the author let him be just as set in his ways as Addison, can you say tension explosion, why yes , yes you can, and it was awesome!
Addison was a really cool, fun and feisty heroine that just makes you wish you could be near her just to see her blow Bruno and his plans out of the water, really great writing was done with this character, and it made for excellent reading.
I am taking away a very nice and clear sounding message from this read, opposites attract but that we all know already. But what if you are not as opposite as you think and instead a compromise can be found to satisfy you both? Sounds like a great plan, but how to make it work? The answer is a simple one, look inside your heart for there lies the true answer as to who is with you and who is against you.
I highly recommend this read for all fans of hotter than hot, sexier than ever before, smoking fast paced and truly emotional reads.
5/5 star review " Kidnapping each other's hearts deep within the heat of the night"
**Complimentary copy received in exchange for a honest review
Let's start with this cover! I mean - WOW! (I adore how Romance books can have these cheesy titles! They always make me giggle!) Don't let that steer you from this book. Intense, hot and made me feel like I was sitting on the beaches in Brazil! This book was filled with everything but cheese!
This is a first for me from Carmen Falcone. And I was beyond pleased. Carmen's take on enemies to lovers in this book was fun and intriguing. Addie has such pain and sorrow behind her mission that her drastic measures to obtain her goals make your heart ache. Mix a brooding, sexy Brazilian billionaire in the mix who needs her to successfully pull of his plan - this is bound to be a disaster of epically hot proportions. The physical attraction is instantaneous, but both Bruno and Addie have their own reasons for not giving into the lust.
"I was torn between slapping your face or kissing you. I went with kidding you because, you know, I'm a pacifist." "Make love and not war is always a good motto."
I loved every up in the story. I loved every stolen touch, every stolen glance and the grand gestures. I love all these moments almost as much as the bumps. The bumps were so much fun. Bruno and Addie are snarky and ultra sassy - and I love every second of it. These two really felt like a real couple.
"Addie, meu amor, for a wife of convenience, you're very inconvenient."
You get your HEA in the end, and with a cast of lovable and enticing supporting characters, I can easily see reading about Bruno's siblings. An easy 4 for Carmen and her Brazilian Tycoon! I would LOVE to know who she envisioned as Bruno!
A marriage of convenience is one of my favorite tropes! Bruno and Addie are about as different as you can imagine. A strong alpha male and a social activist, makes for some enjoyable and interesting reading. Bruno's dealing with a father who's dying, his last wish he wants to fulfill and Addie is trying to help a native Brazilian Tribe remain on the land owned by Bruno. Hot sexual chemistry, pasts they both want to keep secret and a growing attraction. A great read,I'm hoping to see this author bring more books to us with secondary characters from this book
When Bruno let his guard down I found I liked him a lot more, “I wasn’t going down that road, but, yes, I particularly like you when you are naked.” He gave a hearty chuckle. He stepped closer, and closer, and she backed up until she could feel the rough walls of the hut brushing against her back. “And squirming.” I liked this book. I liked Bruno.
An outstanding book full of humor, sexual tension, and a wonderful love story. From being strangers with little to nothing in common to finding passion in an exotic location, this story had a little bit of everything. Fantastic read, highly recommend.
I finished this book and promptly hit Amazon to download all other titles by Ms Falcone. Smooth writing, engaging characters, and above all, that little bit of extra depth about the wider world, skilfully woven in, to deepen the reader experience. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon by Carmen Falcone Tragedy is not meant to break the spirit, but to refuel the soul. The lessons learned and the trials faced remind us of our strength and give us the courage to fight another day. Ms. Falcone took that knowledge to heart while writing Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon. Grief has proved to be a two edged sword for Addison and Bruno. It's made them determined, but also reckless in the quest to fulfill a promise and protect a legacy. Can a deal made in recklessness help mend two broken hearts? With palpable heat, surprising humor and an abundance of heart, Ms. Falcone seduces with an expert hand.
What really stuck a cord with me was when Bruno was talking with his father right before he passed away, the tears just started rolling. Then again when Addie was talking to her dead fiancée and how Bruno said that he could talk to his father after death. That was a precious moment.
This story completely captured me from the beginning to the very end. I love these types of stories where the billionaire needs a bride because of a complication in life, expect that in this one she kidnaps him and blackmails him. He needs to see his father before he dies and show him that he found a wonderful woman to marry him and she needs the land he owns. They are both attracted to each other but she still thinks about her dead fiancée. I can actually say that I loved seeing how their relationship became more and how they both tried to get to know each other even though he was still hiding what happened when he was a teenager.
Addison Reed is a radiant, smart and sassy woman that knows what she wants. She needs for him to give the Kwanis more time to find a place where they can start their life again. They couldn’t just go join another tribe because what if they couldn’t adapt to their rules or what if they didn’t have enough food to go around. She needed to help them and the only way to help was to marry Bruno for the time frame he is requesting,
Bruno Duarte can’t believe that he actually got drugged and kidnapped. He is an alpha male that has demons that he has not been able to diminish. The only thing he can think of is marrying Addison and showing his father that he did find a good woman. From the very beginning I was trying to figure out what was it that he ran away from. What could he have done for him to leave his family and his ill mother? There was a small glimpse of a memory but when he exposed what happened I couldn’t believe it. Why would his father make him leave his family but then again he had a choice he could have said in town not leave to the US.
Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon was a good read. The chemistry between Addison and Bruno is sizzling hot. I knew that as soon as she told him that she wanted him they would burn the sheets and once would not be enough. I love reading stories that are easy to read and don’t need too much thinking the only thing I needed to do was relax and enjoy. This is my first read by Ms. Falcone and I have to say that I will be researching her book list to see what else I may like.
Totally recommend this read to all readers that love a good romance story.
Received ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an Honest Review
Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon is as sexy and funny as you can probably imagine just by reading the title or the synopsis.
But, what impressed me was that it was so much more than that. This is not a mere sexy, funny romance; it has meaning and depth. It concentrated on values, kindness, loyalty and serious family issues such as betrayal and abuse.
Most of the times, you read an either drama-romance or a hot-romance. Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon is both, something that I am still reeling from. The author accomplished to raise significant matters to the surface, but at the same time maintained the centre of the book that was Bruno and Addie’s relationship. Not only the book had a bit of everything in it, but it made it all seem effortless. The writing is beautiful and it has a nice flow. I admit that there were few times that I double-checked what I read, but the conclusion is one and the same. This is great book..Judging by the title, you may not quite believe it -It does sound too care-free, right?- but it is true.
Bruno has so many issues that he hasn’t dealt with. He left everything and everyone behind, but he knew he hadn’t escaped a thing. Crude words and cruel behaviour still followed him anywhere he went, still darkened his mind and still influenced how he view the world and others. One of the many things I liked about him is that he isn’t hiding his feelings. He knows he has issues that he hasn’t dealt with and he knows he must face them. Of course, he realizes it’s not easy but he still wants to try and fix everything. He is always aware of the situation and I admire that. It doesn’t happen very often.
Addie is one very determined and brave young woman. She has her scars, her unhealed wounds. She is scared but she doesn’t realize it. However, nothing seems to stay on her way for long. I mean, she did kidnapped a man who was 2 or 3 times bigger than her! She is smart and sweet and so fearlessly loyal to the people she loves. She is the supportive person you wish to have in your corner! And oh how I loved her reactions towards some people...Serena, maybe..Bruno, for sure...
I really liked both main characters, Bruno and Addie. They are as different as similar to each other. I believe that they are great as individuals, but they are amazing as a couple. Their dynamic is off the charts…A fact proved by their bantering and…..well...umm...the beach incident..
So, 4.5 Gorgeous Stars go to Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon!
I really enjoyed Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon. Bruno takes a little getting used to, he very rough around the edges. Of course he has the cocky attitude and confidence of a billionaire, however he wasn’t quite as suave as I’m used to seeing from this type of character. It suits the story though. HE is definitely a tortured soul. Combine this self-loathing, his humble background, and the cultural differences of being raised in Brazil, and the jagged parts of his personality make sense. He has a tough exterior and is every bit the alpha male. He is smart and dare I say, conniving. He knows how to manipulate a situation to his advantage. However, underneath all that is a lonely soul who longs to find love and redemption for the wrongs he feels he has committed.
Addie is a contradiction in personalities. She is full of grit, determined to protect a dying culture. She is loyal and stubborn, and has a great capacity for love. Her actions speak for her when she pushes aside her fears (and common sense…) and finds a way to kidnap Bruno. She stands up to those she believes are in the wrong, including Bruno’s family. Then there is the other facet of her personality, one where she is shy, and a recluse, figuratively speaking. She has let the death of her fiancé consume her and while her actions in helping the Kwanis are admirable, in reality, they are a desperate attempt to keep her heart occupied, to avoid future pain.
Addie and Bruno definitely set the sheets ablaze once they give into their attraction. They also begin to bring out a better side in each other. As with every love story, it’s certainly not all smooth sailing from there. There are misunderstandings and hurt feelings, and there were definitely moments when I was frustrated by the decisions of the hero and heroine.
I couldn’t understand why one wouldn’t calm down and wait for an explanation. However, it’s easy to see the rational side of a situation when looking in from the pages of a book. Addie and Bruno aren’t perfect, and with their passionate natures, I can easily see those scenarios playing out that way in real life. In the end, they find their happily ever after and I put the book down with the warm and fuzzy feeling that accompanies a “feel good” book.
*This book was provided to me for free in exchange for a honest review*
Bruno Daurte never thought that the life that he had spent so long crafting could be so easily unraveled.
Bruno Duarte never thought that he would find himself at the mercy of "an insane tree-hugger.
Bruno Duarte never though that he could ever again know the passion and freedom of a man in love.
Bruno Duarte never counted on meeting someone like her.
Addison Reed is a woman on a mission. Still reeling from the loss of her fiancé, and facing the unjust eviction of an indigenous people that she has come to love from their home in Brazil; Addie is a woman who will stop at nothing to ensure that that she adds no more minuses to a tally already too full of them.
What neither he nor she had any way of foreseeing was how the crazy chain of kismet that linked them, would provide the bounds strong enough to bind their hearts forever.
This story is one that will make you want... Want Bruno. Want to be Addison. Want to experience the passion, the wonder, the beauty, the pain, and the happiness that is love realized. Want to go to Brazil.
Both Addison and Bruno are very strong characters, willing to go the distance for those they love and for what they believe. As such, when these two forces of nature collide, there are fireworks from the start. What is most impressive about this read character wise, is the fact that money and influence don't equal power in this relationship. It is Addison, and not Bruno, who does most of the saving and tearing down of walls. She is the true embodiment of a strong woman, and this story is where she is allowed to shine.
While it is true that the sex in this read is hot enough to melt candles without a flame; that element alone doesn't account for this story's appeal. First and foremost on the reasons to love this book has to be...IT'S SCENES ARE SET IN BRAZIL. That's right! It is not a US based story. That gives the reader a fresh flavor for their setting palate, and what a sweet taste it is too.
Add to that the secrets, family drama, raw emotionality, and tear inducing ending, and you have a book to love!!
I read the book again several days later and just had to add more to my previous review.
I don't have the proper words to tell you how much I enjoyed reading this book. I believe I felt it more than read it. I could feel Addies' passion for her cause and loss of fiancé Michael, then her conflicting emotions for Bruno, the man she feels she must kidnap in order to make him understand the wrong he is doing and convincing to do the right thing.
Bruno, the disgust and shame he feels for himself, in the end made him who he was; strong, passionate, but distrustful of women. With Addie's strength of purpose and willingness to believe in the agreement they've come too, then both of them finally understanding each other and admitting it wasn't just sexual attraction but love.
My review may not sound like it, but the characters are believable in a unbelievable situation. Two strong characters trying to hold on to what they think is right even when their agreement is actually based on....oh no I've already given way to much away.
Read this book whose author, Carmen Falcone, tells a tale which includes the both the beauty and harshness of the country of her birth, the passion of love, as well as showing the problem that indigenous people have not only Brazil but others countries as well. Man must learn to stop encroaching on land that has been lived on for generations by others, to stop stripping away their livelihood by bulldozing away their way of life.
I received this book complimentary with the understanding that I would give an honest review.
***I received a complimentary copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review***
This is a classic story of girl kidnaps boy, boy proposes sham marriage to girl, they fall in love, girl finds out boy will not help her save her beloved tribe, but all is saved in the end and they live happily ever after. Oh, wait. That's not a typical romance novel plot, you say? You will be right. Not only is this not typical but the characters that Carmen Falcone creates are three dimensional and believable. You're immediately invested in their goals and you want them both to succeed.
I could not put this book down. My husband was skyping me and after half an hour it old him I had to go because I had to finish reading it. It was a captivating love story driven by two broken characters who needed each other to grow and find love. The love scenes were hot and plenty and very well written. Bruno and Addie had so much chemistry I was glad this was an ebook or else the pages would have been scorched.
If you want a character driven plot, steamy love scenes and a satisfying ending this one's for you.
This was my first Carmen Falcone book and I have to say that I quickly fell in love with her witty and raw writing style. Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon has a sweet and yet crass storyline that hooked me from page one.
Bruno came across as the aloof playboy at first. However, over time he grew to be this amazong man that I couldn't help but fall for. While he still had his moments of rudeness and gave off the air of not caring, he slowly showed his softer side. Learning about his past definitely helped round him out as a character and give me a better understanding of why he behaves the way that he does.
Addie has a heart of gold....and the mouthyness of a toddler! She knows what she wants and is willing to do just about anything to reach her goals. Watching as she grew to be more confident and realize that it is okay to move on after tragedy was heart wrenching. Her situation is far from simple and seeing things unfold as they did had me laughing and crying on several occasions.
Overall, I found the book to be a quick fun read that left me filled with emotions and wanting more. I definitely recommend adding this one to your list of books to read!
They say you can't judge a book by it's cover...but c'mon have you seen this cover, it's so freaking hot! But as hot as the cover is, it doesn't hold a candle to the story Carmen Falcone wrote. Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon was a scorcher of a read, that I never wanted to end. This story was well written and had my attention from the very first page. The characters were passionate, humble, honest, and a breath of fresh air. Carmen Falcone, created characters who I would love to hang out with, unless it's Bruno.....I would want to do more than just hang with him!
Let's talk about main characters. Addison was my type of girl, smart, sassy, and best of all, she didn't act all coy and simper all over the gorgeous Brazilian billionaire. Speaking of Bruno, he was the quintessential hero. A hero who was intense, courageous, and seductive, all combined into one. What begins as a fake marriage, ends with a sincere, heart-string pulling, unforgettable intimacy that will leave you sighing in pleasure.
I will definitely be re-reading this story for years to come. Kudos to Carmen Falcone for writing an excellent story that I will never forget.
It was a little confused about how this was going to work. Addison kidnapping Bruno. Really? It was just hard for me to see a woman kidnapping a grown man, all just to get him to agree to her plans.
From the beginning, you could feel the chemistry between the two. I thought just maybe Addie wouldn't go through with her plan of kidnapping. However I was wrong.
For the most part, this was a good book. Bruno took a little of getting use to though. He has the cocky attitude and confidence of a billionaire but he is also a little rough around the edges. I also felt bad for him that his family is ashamed of him. I was so angry when I found out why he was banished.
Addison is loyal and stubborn. She has a big heart for the tribe that has helped her in her time of need. She stands up to those who she believes is wrong, but she is also shy at times.
I liked reading the thoughts of both characters as they struggled with their feelings towards each other. Like I said, from the beginning, you could feel the chemistry between the two and when they finally come together......well, you'll just have to read it for yourself!
This book has kidnapping, handcuffs, blackmailing and negotiations; lots of hot negotiations. I really enjoyed the characters of this book. Addison Reed aka Addie, has such a sassy personality. Her character had me laughing and crying, which made for a very interesting read. The way Addie goes about kidnapping the sexy Brazilian tycoon, Bruno Duarte, makes you want to go on out and kidnap one for yourself. Bruno is an excellent hero. He is attractive, witty and sexy as hell.
Addie wants to help a Brazilian tribe, Kwanis, which live on some land that Bruno plans to sale. Bruno needs to sell the land, at his dying fathers request. Bruno needs a bride. How badly does Addie want to help the Kwanis? The compromise is a make believe marriage. The results, well, that’s something you have to read for yourself. I give this book a 4.5 stars.
This book was given to me by the author for an honest review.
I loved this book! Not only were the characters - Bruno and Addie - engaging, passionate, and REAL, but they took me on a sultry, sexy journey to beautiful Brazil. I particularly loved the introduction of the Brazilian Indian tribe Addie is trying to protect. It was evident that heroine's passion was truly that of the author, so I was not surprised to find in the acknowledgments that the author spent time with one such native tribe. The authenticity of the portrayal is striking, as well as quite organic to the plot, and the immersion into the culture was absolutely divine. So much of the beauty of this book is in the detail, which Ms. Falcone absolutely nailed. The romance is delish, the sex HAWT, and the plot poignant and heartfelt. And, ERMAGERD, beach sex. Definitely buy this one!
I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I just loved this story so much because the author was able to write depth into the characters. Both characters are flawed and are both trying to outlive their respective childhood scars. I loved Addison passion for protecting the native tribe and her desire to do what her dead fiancé would have wanted her to do. She goes to extremes but does it from the heart. Bruno is damaged from growing up to fast and having to do what he had to to help his family. He needs a wife to inherit land his dying father control but when his plans fall through both Addison and Bruno have to marry in order to get what they both want. But being together may be what each other needs in order to truly be able to open themselves to true love and passion.
First off let me just stare at the cover! I think this is the best cover so far for Carmen's books. *wipes drool from screen*.
I have yet to read a book by Carmen that does not disappoint and this is by far one of my favorite reads by her so far. We even get a little history lesson on the Brazilian culture.
Addison will do anything to protect the land and her lost fiancé legacy as well. When Bruno refuses to meet with her she takes control in her hands. I just couldn't believe what she would do, but we all have alpha heroine traits in all of us. Insert alpha Bruno and you are in for an enjoyable read. Who wouldn't want to fake an wedding with this hottie. We all know what happens when you fake something cause those feelings you didn't think could be possible happen.
If you like contemporary reads this is definitely one you should read.
At first it took me a bit to like Bruno and Addie frustrated me, I felt they could have found better ways to deal each other. As I kept reading I started have more empathy for them both. While I still felt they could have communicated better I still loved them both. Let's face it there wouldn't have been as much the story if they communicated better, it's what really developed their feelings for each other. Wow when you finally hear Bruno's story it will break your heart and make you want to start hurting people for what happened. There really is no other rating you can give this book but 5 stars, the story grips you and you just can't put it down before it's completely read. I'm hoping we get Bruno's siblings stories too.
When Addie believes in something she will do anything to fight for it even kidnapping a Brazilian tycoon. When Bruno decides his engagement of conveneince isn't working e breaks it off. He than shares a drink with a stranger and next thing he knows he wakes up handcuffed to a bed. Addie and Bruno come to an agreement to get the moth what they want. The go to Brazil he lets her in to his family. She shows him what she is fighting for. Trying to stick to their agreement and not falling in love is proving to be a problem. Than when Bruno's brother does something that betrays Addie. Can they admit their feelings and stay together or all they going to lose all they agreed to over a betrayal. This is a hot book and a feel good read with a HEA.
Addie Reed is determined to speak to Bruno Duarte and all her inquiries have failed. Her last ditch effort is to get him only so he can't avoid her. Her only option is to kidnap him.
Bruno had plans to wed to prove to hos father he could find a woman to love him. At the last minute he was dumped leaving him scrambling to find a solution.
He wakes to find himself handcuffed in front of a woman he met the night before. Addie confronts Bruno about a sale he has pending and offers up a deal to delay it for personal reasons. Bruno counteracts the offer with one of his own.
Bruno and Addie struggle with their feeling for each other while they both strive to work out their respective agendas. A mistake throws their world in chaos only to bring forth a resolved commitment.
Bruno and Addison meet on the very day our sexy Brazilian hero is dumped by his fiancée, and our heroine is contemplating risking a kidnapping charge to get his attention. She agrees to step in as a make-believe bride...for a price. Add to the mix some unhappy family history on his side, some serious trust issues on hers and a lost civilization that needs protecting and you have an adventure as exciting as Romancing the Stone, with a flair for all things Brazil... Carmen Falcone writes passion so well, you may want to read it again and again.
I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review
Great from start to finish! I love how Carmen Falcone writes so eloquently and detailed describing exactly how the characters feel in every moment. As the reader, you get so engrossed and captivated that you feel like you are the characters in the book. I couldn't put it down. This book is full of hot sensual moments with an intriguing story and plot twist! I love how the author described the native Brazilian tribes and incorporated history into the romantic story line. A definite must if you like romance stories with a great plot and relatable characters!
I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of this book in return for an honest review, and it's page-turner. Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon is not just a s-s-steamy romance, but also a look at Brazil and its lifestyles, told by someone who knows the culture. It involves an Amazon tribe, a modern marriage of convenience, a feisty do-gooder, and a rich, handsome man with secrets of his own. Enjoy!
Carmen turns up the heat once again! A woman on a mission that must do anything including kidnapping to save a tribe of people that will be forced off thier land if she doesn't risk everything including her heart. A man who must face his past and make a deal with the woman who has given him nothing but headaches. A fun, hot, dramatic read that will have you on a rollercoaster of emotions till the end! I was given this book for an honest review.
