I grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee and you will see some of that in my writing. I absolutely love to read and can always been found with my Kindle within reach. I am a self proclaimed workaholic that squeezes in time to write.

I have no children but I have the greatest nieces and nephews anyone could ask for. My family has been really supportive of my new journey.

I love sweet tea, the sweeter the better. I can almost be bribed with it LOL.

After a horrific car accident, Tyler and Fayth's worlds are sent into a tailspin. Tyler awakens from his coma but things are not as they should be. No one expected Tyler to awaken out of his coma not knowing half of the people in the hospital room. Dealing with challenges that the accident left him with, Tyler feels defeated and sets out to enlist the help of his friends to assist in filling in the blanks of his memory loss.

Fayth was devastated to had been the one that responded to Tyler’s accident. Her world was torn apart that day. After Tyler awakens from his coma, it is as if Fayth had relived that day all over again. Completely devastated that he does not know who she is, she retreats into herself and her demons from the past return.

Will Tyler be able to draw from his strength in order to over come his challenges? Would Fayth be able to snap out of her recluse ways in order to reconnect with Tyler? Their magnetic draw to each other is more than each had imagined, but would it be enough to get them through this difficult time.

Completely in love with Tyler and Fayth’s story. These two have a chemistry that is both easy going and flirty. Their story is one of courage, honesty and true friendship. I would highly recommend this book! I do suggest you get the first book in the series to understand what is going on in book 2.

Independent Review for Archaeolibrarian- I Dig Good Books

I'm lumping these two books together, in the nicest possible way, you really do NEED to read Picking Up The Pieces FIRST for Mending The Pieces to make any sense.

These books tell the tale of Fayth and Tyler. How they came to be friends, how they both want more but are afraid to ask for it, and how, following a devastating accident, they get to know each other again.

Its written in the first person, present tense. And if you follow my reviews, you'll know thats not a favourite of mine, and it also flips from Fayth to Tyler (each change is clearly headed though!) again, not a favourite of mine. BUT once I got into the second book, I didnt notice it so much. Picking Up The Pieces is mostly Fayth, and Mending the Pieces is mostly Tyler, so you get bits of them both before the accident and after.

What let it down, for me, was Fayth's past. It could have been so much more part of the story. Just telling Tyler (twice, with EXACTLY the same wording, could have changed it up a bit) wasn't enough for me. The little hints along the way were not enough, it needed to be more part of the story.

What I really liked though, was that Tyler never fully recovers from the accident. I'm not saying how or why, because that might spoil it, but I really did like that part! Makes me a little odd, maybe, but still, it made a change to a complete and miraculous recovery.

Picking Up The Pieces is short, only 54 pages, and Mending the Pieces is 182 pages. I would have preferred to have read it as an entire book. adding 50 odd pages to 180 odd wont make it a massive book, just a longer one with it all together. I'm really NOT liking this trend, at all.

All in all, a nice story, with some happy bits, some sad, and some make you think bits.

3.5 stars for a combination of both books.

(Same worded review will appear on Archaeolibrarian blog, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com for both books)

**Possible Spoiler if you did not read book one**
Mending the Pieces picked up right where Book One left off. Book One ended with a cliffhanger so I was excited to be able to pick this right up away.

This book was heart wrenching because we knew Fayth’s side of the story and we were seeing Tyler’s new insight. Again, as with Book One, I kept rooting for their relationship to work but since Tyler’s accident I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. The struggle Tyler goes through, after the accident, and seeing it from his point of view was what made the story. He desperately wants to get back to the way things were before the accident. I felt like I was as invested as Tyler and Fayth were in his recovery.

This is a great series and the author didn’t resolve Tyler’s issue as I thought it would be which was great! She could have taken the easy way out but didn’t so it caught me off guard and I was happy about that.

This is a sweet series with laughs, tears, tragedy, and joy. Definitely recommend this series!

This was an excellent follow up to Stephanie's debut novella, Picking up the Pieces. I was able to totally immerse myself in the book. I felt like I was really there watching everything happen!

At the beginning of this book, Tyler wakes up from his coma. He was in a horrific car accident that left him in a coma for 8 days at the end of book 1. Tyler doesn't remember anything past his 21st birthday. He has lost 11 years that he can't remember. He doesn't remember his friends. His mom keeps talking about Fayth and how much she meant to him. He is very aggravated that he cant remember. He goes to physical therapy for his broken leg. He meets a new friend, Thomas, at physical therapy. He decides to see a psychologist to see if his lost memories can be recovered. Does he recover his lost memories? Does he mend his friendship with Summer and Fayth?

I dont want to give away what happens in this book. I hope you will pick up book 1 and 2 and give them a try! I can't wait to read more by Stephanie!

Mending the Pieces is book #2 in the 2 part series and I HIGHLY recommend that you read them in the recommended order as they strongly feed off of each other.

Book #1 focused primarily on the woman. Her personal demons and internal struggles. In Book #2 it is more about him. After surviving a terrible accident, he is faced with an even harder challenge.. getting his life back.

I really enjoyed both books in this series. The characters are loveable and easy to relate too. The plot of touching and although I think we all see the end coming, we have no idea exactly how it will come to pass. I found it a real page turner and I was at the edge of my seat cheering this beautiful couple on the entire way.

If you are looking for books about love, love lost, friendship, pain and trust.. then you have found the book for you.

I was so pumped when this book was finally released! I'm a HUGE fan of Tyler since he was introduced in Picking Up the Pieces. Yes, these books have to be read in order, but the story is so beautiful. Tyler isn't an alpha. Faythe isn't a size 0, blondie. I think that's what drew me in at first - They. Are. Real. Real sounding characters. Real life problems. And a beautiful connection. It was refreshing to read something so beautiful and real. I can't wait to see what Stephanie has in store next!

Amazing Chemistry

This is a continuation from Gresham's Picking up the Pieces, and it picks up where the other story left off, Fayth waiting for her best friend, and the man she loves to wake up. But when he does, he doesn't know who she is. Well, the story builds from there, and with tragedy and devastation, and fighting past demons, there is a great many complications. The chemistry between Fayth and Tyler is hard to miss, even if he can't remember her. Can't tell you how it ends, but I was lucky enough to read these stories back to back so I didn't have to wait!

Asked to read for honest review

This was a continuation of Tyler an Fayth's story. You must read Picking Up The Pieces first. I couldn't wait to see if Tyler regained his memories and if him and Fayth were able to find their way back to each other. Tyler has this pull towards Fayth and has Deja Vu moments but can't remember her or the past 11yrs. This was a very goof book.

I was gifted this book by the talented author that Stephanie is. I loved Tyler and Faith from picking up the pieces which you have to read first as the story follows on. I love the fact that this story is so REAL... Tyler and Faith are not your normal relationship but thats what makes them so loveable....I cant wait to see what Stephanie writes next!!
