In the first view, "The Devil's Gateway", we follow a couple of friends who go out for the night in a new nightclub. The club caters to all their vices, but the cost may be worse than they ever expected. Then comes "Amnion" where a sexy alien seductress comes to Earth on a mission so terrifying, it'll have you grabbing your crotch long after the story ends.
The novelettes within this small collection are freaky, gory and nightmare-inducing...perfect for a late-night horror binging!

Double Feature is set up to be read like you’re at the cinema getting a two for one movie viewing but in book form! Such a fun and neat concept! I very much enjoyed my time at the JBlaze Cinema.
Devils Gateway is a sex nightclub where everyone can fulfill their fantasies and more. There’s just one teensy problem, once you enter, you can’t leave.
Amnion follows Violet, a hot and extremely fit woman seducing her way through the world. Men simply can’t resist her even if they tried. Sex with Violet is a dream come true st first but as she’s about to climax, things turn for the worst. Stay safe out there guys😉
Double Feature releases on March 24th, 2025. Extreme Horror/Smut lovers need to add this to their TBR ASAP🙌

A hugely entertaining duo of extreme horror novellas, structured as a "double feature" B-movie event - i.e. two stories for the price of one! "The Devil's Gateway" takes place in a nightclub, it's a combination of a female empowerment tale with lots of smut - until literally the last moment, when the story explodes into over-the-top carnage! I especially loved the ending; exactly what I wanted to see from an unhinged tale such as this. "Amnion" (the word meaning the bag surrounding an embryo) combines extreme horror erotica and sci-fi horror to offer a splatterporn tale of seduction and mutilated genitals. It read like the extreme horror version of the little-known Scarlett Johansson movie, "Under the Skin," though far less serious than the latter, and far more darkly comedic as well. Both stories deliver grim entertainment, easily pictured special effects, and naughty snippets of both sexy banter and cringey male objectification lol!

Well this was ....... interesting, haha. I don't know exactly what I was expecting but definitely not this. It was very well written and the author can definitely put stories together for a quick read.
At first I was very "wtf?" but after I finished I was still thinking about the stories (minus the smut). So, yeah. Undecided on this one.
Just be aware there is a ton of sexual content to the point its off putting.

This is an entertaining double feature story! Who doesn’t love a good show turned into a double feature book!
Two extreme horror novellas are entered into this double feature! Both are very intense and had my eyes popping out!
The first focused on a very dark nightclub where sex is what it’s about! You can indulge in your wildest pleasures, but don’t try to leave!
The second story touches on some strange aliens and brings the creep factor in!
They are both fun to watch/read/listen to!! The narrator did a great job!!
Jerry Blaze is always a must read for me!

This was bizarrely fun?
I love the idea of Double Features , books, movies, doesn't matter, I will usually snag it and see what its about.
My local drive in back home used to have them, and it was so fun and spooky.
in this one we have The Devil's Gateway up first, friends who decide to try out a new night club. And sometimes your "drink of choice" costs more then you'd expect, talk about needful things. This one is smutty, well maybe smutt isn't the right word, this one is sexual, that sounds better for this little story.
Cut to black and we have our second offering of Amnion, weird attractive aliens, who have a mission, and some people might not be so jazzed for it to say the least. This was absolutely erotica horror, but in a really good way.
The number one thing I need to say about this is that it was a fun set up that I love with a TRUE horror double feature ( in my humble opinion)
You have to start out with something crazy ,but not absurd, it needs to be scary, get you creeped out and on edge, and then they need to hit you with that second punch, something while scary, its also like, what is this??
Its crazy horror that makes you laugh a little at how wild.
And that's the formula for me, for a perfect double feature set up, and this hit it.

Written as if we are in a movie!
First story - 3 friends go to a new club but what about it makes it so special? Free reign to do as you please! But you can never leave...
Second story - A creature that shifts into a beautiful woman that once you have sex with her a creature literally bursts from ya balls. What's her motive?
The first story had me proper on edge I was like this Jay guy is up to no good. But it wasn't what I expected! The different personalities of each of the girls really shone through with this. We ended this with a brand new trio of guys entering this club with a new person as the helper so to speak which I was pleasantly surprised with!
Second story was a proper page turner. I was so invested in violets antics and why she was doing it. However the cliffhanger had me begging for there to be more! I have to know what happens after!
Sprinkled in this was your standard movie breaks and intros. It really felt like I was reading a movie and funnily enough I could imagine both of these being short movies which would be pretty cool 😎 I can never get fed up of Jerry's writing or work. Each book brings something completely different to the table! This was no exception!

This book is awesome for lovers of grindhouse movies. I liked the story parts. The over sexual part was over the top.

Fast and brutal little double feature. Very smutty and Splatterpunk. Not my everyday kind of read but an enjoyable couple of stories to read in one sitting.

These two stories could not be more different from each other and I freaking LOVE that! The first story is just so perfectly splatterpunk. Lots of blood and gore! The second story is hot and creepy at the same time. Give this one a read if you’ve got the time. Mr. Blaze never disappoints.

I was fortunate enough to have received an ARC for "Double Feature" by Jerry Blaze. This fast-paced, enthralling read included two stories - just like a double feature film series. The concept was very creative and gives vintage cinema vibes, along with a bit of Tales of the Crypt.
The first story, which was super sexy and sassy, was about a group of party loving girls going to a building to have a debaucherous night of sex, drugs, and rock n roll. Each of the three girls has their own niche, and we see how the night goes on and what happens.
The second story is an alien story, with a super-hot, leggy red head on a mission to copulate with every male in a small town. She makes her way around, engaging with multiple men, and we see what happens to each male after she is done with them.
I loved the overall pace of the stories and the super fun way they were presented. A quick read that I recommend as a four out of five read!
