Second Act

Rate this book
Jeremy French might be the worst werewolf ever, but he’s about to have his big break on stage in Los Angeles. He just has to make it to opening night. Freed from a life of servitude with his first pack, Jeremy is an inexperienced lone wolf struggling to come to grips with his werewolf abilities. He’ll either have to gain control of them or risk having his acting career end before it ever begins.

Sent from halfway across the country, a woman named Mavis Corvid arrives out of the blue to help. The Aldwulf, alpha of all alphas, sent her as his emissary, hoping she and Jeremy could learn from each other. Thrust together, the two form a wary friendship and Mavis reveals that while she is not a werewolf, she is two-natured. She can shapeshift into her second nature, a bird, anytime she wants.

Soon after, Mavis saves Jeremy from certain ruin. It quickly becomes apparent that someone will stop at nothing to keep him from the stage, including framing him for murder. Jeremy will have to reckon with figures from his past and embrace his werewolf strengths if he wants a shot at saving his friend in return, but can he do it before the show must go on?
