This was an interesting book. My daughter and I both enjoyed reading this book. I wish it would have explained more about the Elf on The Shelf as that was what we thought it was about. However, we did love the story of the Noble Nick and his dog. We did not see the conflict that Nick had to endure in order to become Noble Nick.
