I have to be honest.
I wasn't expecting anything helpful from his blogging books. I guess I'm so jaded by all of the bad information out there and all of the people writing these things to take advantage of others to make money.
I was completely and totally pleasantly surprised.
I LOVE HIS HONESTY. Thank you God, finally an honest person in the sea of posers.
His no fluff approach, his honesty, his human-ness, if that makes sense? makes me feel connected and safe: I don't have to watch my back and try to not be taken advantage of or to be misled. SO REFRESHING.
He gives great advice which you can take it or leave it...I'm taking a lot of his advice and of course tailoring it to my specific needs. It gave me a huge sense of direction in a place that seemed overwhelming, mysterious, and obscure. I didn't want to learn everything the hard way. I love learning from experiences. Thank you Bob for sharing your experiences honestly and openly.
I want to add as well that you can tell he is a great mentor. He isn't pretentious. My impression of many other bloggers giving advice: Oh look at me, I'm better than you you don't even know and you're ridiculous for wanting to try but here I'll give you some unsubstantial and murky advice because I feel threatened by new people.
My impression of Bob: I'm not better than anyone. I have made a lot of mistakes, we all do, but we learn and keep going. Don't feel overwhelmed, take things one step at a time.
SUCH. A GREAT. SWEET. RELIEF.
Basically it's a no bullshit book. No vague and murky phrases.
Five stars: You get out of the book what he promises plus an added confidence boost and encouragement and I actually got some inspiration out of it too. Five stars for getting more than he promised I would :)

highly recommend!
I read Bob's first book and now this one. His approach in this book (from my perspective) is to offer valuable tips that can really help a new or trying-to-get-established blogger off the ground. I've read several books on blogging from several authors and BY FAR Bob offers and gives the most practical advice of all!
I have a blogging "to do" and "follow-up" list and almost every one of the items in this book , I.e. Adding pin it to photos are in my follow-up while many have already been marked off the to-do list!!! Honestly - Love love pic monkey!!! And photo dune!! Got s privacy policy in place etc etc
Also, I will continue to refer to this book often and especially will read the last couple of sections often. Very encouraging (Bob you def have the gift of encouragement!!!!)
The way you write and reach out to help people witnesses to the way you live your life! And I am honored to call you brother and friend!

Great resource for bloggers
