Kelly Thompson

KELLY THOMPSON has a degree in Sequential Art from The Savannah College of Art & Design. Her love of comics and superheroes have compelled her since she first discovered them as a teenager. Currently living in Portland, Oregon with her boyfriend and the two brilliant cats that run their lives, you can find Kelly all over the Internet where she is generally well liked, except where she's detested.

Kelly has published two novels - THE GIRL WHO WOULD BE KING (2012) and STORYKILLER (2014) and the graphic novel HEART IN A BOX from Dark Horse Comics (2015). She's currently writing ROGUE & GAMBIT, HAWKEYE, and PHASMA for Marvel Comics and GHOSTBUSTERS for IDW. Other major credits include: A-Force, Captain Marvel & The Carol Corps, Jem and The Holograms, Misfits, Power Rangers Pink, and the creator-owned mini-series Mega Princess.

Kelly's ambitions are eclipsed only by her desire to exist entirely in pajamas. Fortunately pajamas and writers go hand in hand (most of the time). Please buy all her stuff so that she can buy (and wear) more pajamas.

Jeff Just Makes You Smile

Jeff the landshark is just a huge bundle of joy no matter what he does. I wanna see more from him whenever possible :)

Kelly Thompson and GuriHiru are THE “it” team when it comes to Jeff. As a consequence, the “Jeff Week” stories in the back of this collection fall flat for me. It doesn’t help that I find the art particularly unappealing. All the soft cuteness of GuriHiru’s work is absent in favor of stylized crudeness. But the book is still worth it for the infinity comic sections! I have of course already read these on the Marvel Universe app, but it’s great to read them again & add them physically to the collection.

I don’t know what you were expecting, heck I don’t know what I was expecting. It’s just an entire THICK issue mind you of Jeff hanging out with some of the marvel faves going on little adventures and really cute panels of him doing so. A compilation of silent stories just to look at and enjoy. It’s fun.

Loved the Kelly Thompson stuff, but didn’t love the Jeff Week stories. Jeff is more than just trying to eat all the food.
