Do you associate optimal team performance with the following situations?
Motivational strategies (whilst certainly having their place) do not work on staff who suffer from poor morale. It’s like trying to coach people from a walk into a run when they haven’t even bothered getting out of bed yet. Demotivated staff tend to feel resentment at such techniques and interpret them as management unfairly attempting to extort them. If it’s not treated, poor workplace morale is a cancer that can kill your company. But, fix the morale of the team and then you can build on a strong foundation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Workplace Proven Techniques for Building a Positive Team Spirit 15 July 2014 By Lydia McGrath Edition|Verified Purchase I found this book to be a succinct and useful barometer of the psychological state of my workplace. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who found their place of employment an unsavoury place to be.
