Have you ever read a book where you can feel the thrumming through the pages? Well, that's what this one felt like, the anticipation, the sexual energy, the heartbeat, all of it just thrumming through each of the pages.

Malerick, Cassian, and Delilah's story had me on the edge of my seat, as I learned about the past Cassian and Malerick shared, the attraction they both felt for Delilah, and so much more about the Hollow Syndicate, which was wreaking havoc on their small town; there was never a dull moment. I was drawn in from the very beginning, and it never lost me, not even for a second.

Claudia Burgoa you’re wrong for this one😑. Did I want to read this? No. But would I have been left wondering about who was out to destroy adorable small town and how it went when the family found about the secret security groups? Yes, yes I would have. You don’t build story for a 5 book series and then on the 5th change the subgenre! You just don’t do that. I felt pushed into reading something I didn’t want to read because I needed to see to the story through. It honestly felt manipulative and I don’t like that at all. But I’ll take the blame because I should not have even read book 1.

Anyway, aside from my rant of reading I didn’t want to read, but needed to know what happen…we finally learned mystery of who is behind everything happening in the town and why is finally uncovered. The brothers got their closure and healing that they need. It was a good end to a series

The final book in the Timberbridge Brothers series. The Last Call Home offers a deeper dive into Malerick’s youth and life before returning to Birchwood Springs. Polyamorous stories are not my jam. Claudia is the only author I would read one for. As a child and young man, Mal suffered greatly at the hands of his father. Seeing him finally find peace and his happily ever after was perfect.

The mystery of who is behind everything happening in the town and why is finally uncovered.

The only thing missing was a bonus epilogue that included the whole family.

This is the fifth and concluding novel in The Timberbridge Brothers Series, which explores the themes of love, survival, sacrifice and belonging.

In addition to their undeniable chemistry, Malerick, Cassian, and Delilah preserve an unadulterated, fierce, and addictive connection and commitment to one another. Every character has a bitter history, but because of their survival and tenacity, the story is one of optimism and an unforgettable bond that has given them a home and a family of their own.
With all of the revelations in this book, the continuous suspense, lingering questions, and suspicions that we have been waiting for since the first novel have all been worth the wait. Without a doubt, this book will keep you riveted to the page.

I'm a little cautious about going into novels with characters in poly relationships. It's because I'm extremely particular about how it's written and make sure that each one has its own dynamics and what makes them work together. If not, I would say it's a miss. And with this book, I know it wasn't a bummer as Claudia was able to meet my expectations and continues to impress me with her knack for weaving a tapestry of romance, mystery, and suspense, crafting a character-driven and thought-provoking plot.

This book is absolutely for you if you want novels with intense plots that propel your emotions on a roller coaster, nail-biting suspense, the ideal amount of spice, a dose of action, and a mother who will freak out grumpy men. Ah, I just adore Rosalinda in this instalment.

At its core, not only is The Last Call Home an utterly poignant novel that addresses the scars of emotional abandonment while also conveying a message of hope, but it is also a touching exploration of the ties that bind us and the courage to break free from unimaginable pain.

I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy and am sharing my honest review based on my personal experience. Thank you to Claudia and her team for trusting me to read this book in advance.

The Last Call Home is the final installment of The Timberbridge Brothers series. I’m so sad to say goodbye to this incredible group of brothers and their better half’s. Delilah is the passionate towns baker. She knows what she wants. And isn’t afraid to go for it. Even if it’s the towns grumpy sheriff Malerick. You see they have a connection but with some encouragement and persuasion the chemistry is off the chart. Not only with Malerick but with Cassian as well. He isn’t afraid to ask what he wants either from Delilah. You see in instant connection.

Malerick and Cassian have a complicated past and need to figure out their issues so all three could work on this new budding relationship. And once they do the chemistry is off the charts.

This wouldn’t be a small town romance without some suspense. The suspense will be there to very end and keep you in your seat. Secrets will be revealed and questions will be answered. In the end Dailiah, Malerick and Cassian came into each other lives at the perfect time. These three just make senses with each other. I enjoyed this story so much from start to finish.

Goodness gracious, is it hot in here or is it just me? Malerick, Delilah and Cassian had the most undeniable chemistry. The tension was STRONG, man. The love ran deep between Malerick & Cassian and I loved seeing them bring Delilah into it too. It does go deeper than that though. There was a lot of healing that needed to be done, especially with Malerick, and I loved seeing them do it together.

Delilah's mother was amazing. I adore her. Also, the mystery that has been weaved throughout the stories was finally solved! I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen.

🎧Audio:🎧
The was a duet style narration by Dominique Franceschi, J.F. Harding, and Jason Clarke. Dominique is new to be but I loved her as Delilah. Her performance as Delilah's mother was fantastic too. All 3 of them brought the tension, the passion and everything else, honestly, to life and I COULD NOT stop listening.

This was such a fantastic ending to this series. I definitely recommend reading the other books in the series first, otherwise you may get confused. All the storylines were wrapped up and I felt like all my questions were answered. The only thing I felt that was missing was like an epilogue showing us what all these Timberbridge families are doing years down the line.

Holy hotness batman! I either need a cold shower or a fan and a bowl of popcorn because when Cassian Harlan, Malerick Timberbridge and Delilah Mora are all in the same room the chemistry between them is building and building and I can’t wait to see what happens when they all finally give in to their need for one another and the feelings that they can’t deny.
But, hold on because the thread of evil that has been plaguing the small town of Birchwood Springs throughout this series comes to an exciting end as the last part of The Last Call Home is filled with twists, turns and secrets revealed!

What the what was the pacing in this book?! I was looking forward to figuring out what happened after the events in the opening of book 4. Instead nothing happens until after 60% then it felt like we were speed running between 75-90%. Not only was the book wrapped up fast but so was the whole series plot line. I feel like I have whiplash. All that build up. All that tension and mystery for the fastest wrap up I have ever read. Kind of felt like the author forgot underlying plot for the series and tried to squeeze everything in last minute. Disappointed is an understatement. Will be cautious picking up another series by this author to be honest.

The Last Call Home is the fifth and final installment in The Timberbridge Brothers Series and follows Delilah, Malerick and Cassian's story.

Claudia delivers an emotional finale to the Timberbridge Brothers series. She gave us suspense, passion, and the strength of found family. Her stories would not be complete without danger lurking in every corner, secrets, and a poly love story that only she knows how to write! I found this book to be both thrilling and deeply tender.

Malerick and Cassian are both broody, broken, and devoted not only to each other as partners, friends and lovers but to Delilah as well. The connection these three have with each other is raw, messy, and impossible not to root for. It is a slow burn with just the right amount of spice.

All around a great way to end a series!

ARC & ALC kindly provided for the author in exchange for an honest review

I have to confess that when Claudia Burgoa announced this series, I assumed it would be a break from the Heartwood Lake Secret Billionaires Series (which I think it was), and that broke my heart so much, BUT, ever since this series started, the Timberbridges have stolen my heart, and I had such a great time reading these books. I'm completely obsessed with them and never want to say goodbye! Still, I loved that Malerick, Delilah & Cassian were chosen to close out the series, and I don't think the author could have done it in a better way because these three gave me EVERYTHING: funny, tragic, sweet, and very revealing moments.

After reading The Last Call Home I understood why Malerick Timberbridge had to be the last in this series: learning about his wounds from his father's abuse broke my heart even more, because with Mal I also got to read about the extra weight he carried on his shoulders for being the oldest and how hard he fought to protect his brothers. But I think what made me want to protect this character the most, and understand his attitude throughout the series, was knowing that he doesn't know what it feels like to be loved or how to show the important people in his life that he loves them. I also loved discovering Mal's deepest demons throughout the story, revisiting the plot that unites the series through Malerick's eyes, and how his relationship with his siblings evolved.

Delilah is my favorite female character by Claudia Burgoa! I absolutely LOVED the portrayal of a Mexican family the author gave me with her and Rosalinda: I loved reading them both showing their love and how much they care about people through food, Rosalinda being the typical mom who wants to marry her daughter off at every opportunity, BUT with a super interesting twist that I didn't see coming. Also, I loved that Del is a woman who knows what she wants and has no problem asking for it, who loves her job and has one of the most charming personalities this author has ever given me.

Cassian is the only one of this trio I didn't know much about, so I didn't expect to love him so much! I loved that his personality is completely different from Mal's, that he's an incorrigible flirt, and that first encounter he has with his love interests made me immediately obsessed with him. I also really liked that the author gave me a little glimpse into this character's personal story, that she gave me a man willing to win back the love he let go and open his heart to a town where he didn't expect to find his place.

Malerick, Cassian & Delilah's love story is complicated, but I enjoyed it so much! I loved the pace at which everything happened between them. I LOVED reading Delilah having everything she wanted from this couple crystal clear in her head, and that Cassian was the most optimistic of them all, which surprised me a lot considering he also has a grumpy side that he brings out from time to time. But I think what I liked most about these characters was that Cassian & Delilah always love and protect Mal's heart, and that together they begin to heal.

🎧Audiobook Review🎧

This audiobook couldn't have had better narrators! And I particularly loved it because until now I hadn't heard J.F. Harding portray a character as serious and lonely as Malerick, but I think he did it perfectly. It broke my heart to hear him bring this character's most vulnerable and difficult moments to life. I loved hearing him with Cassian & Delilah, as well as the rest of the Timberbridges & Rosalinda. Plus, hearing him say "handsome" made me love him a little more.

Dominique Franceschi is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators! I already said I loved Claudia's portrayal of Delilah, and I think this narrator is partly responsible for how much I enjoyed this character because she brought to life the funniest, most determined, and most charming moments of this girl, and of Rosalinda, too.

Jason Clarke gave me the perfect Kier in the previous book, BUT in this one he also gave me the best Cassian possible. I love the way this narrator ALWAYS conveys to me the feelings of his characters, their demons, and how he made me love the flirtatious, daring Cass, the one who is determined to find happiness with Mal and Del.

A JAW-DROPPING conclusion to the Timberbridge Brothers series.
A really ASTOUNDING heart-gripping MMF romance.
🎧I also had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook and let me say that JF Harding, Jason Clarke and Dominique Franceschi’s performances were perfection. They brought this story and characters to life in the most ASTONISHING and HEART-STOPPING way!!

Since the beginning of this series Claudia Burgoa has repeatedly IMPRESSED me.
Having said that, I MUST say this book is the Ultimate romance.
Malerick and Cassian are sex on legs and you can’t help but love these men…even if they are fictional they have taken up residence in my mind.
As for Delilah, her character is everything I love in a heroine. She’s fierce, highly determined, witty, smart, sassy and loving.
The intensity of emotion and passion between these characters is UTTERLY enticing and all-consuming.
Mix all of that crackling scorching chemistry with a storyline filled with humour, danger, and intrigue, and you get the most PERFECT small town, forbidden, second chance romance.
The heart-pounding moments and the edge of your seat tension makes this page-turner extremely fascinating and deliciously alluring.
Shout out to Delilah’s mother Rosalinda Isabel Mora Pineda she’s a real hoot, she made me laugh so many time and I just loved her relationship with Delilah and how she interacts with Delilah’s men😅
This book will you give all the FEELS and every single sinful naughtiness that we all want and enjoy! It’s simply OUTSTANDING.

3 ⭐️ for the mmf, it's not my thing, I have to just accept it. This is the 4th or 5th mmf I try and maybe the best one yet. I could actually finnish it cause I appreciate the way it was written. BUT mmf is just weird to me, I can't connect with their connection, just can't believe in their romance and there's always one of the three that feels left out in the dynamic...I could never feel Delilas heart, spark, love or anything from her, she was so empty.

4 ⭐️ for the plot, the emotions (the healing the brothers did), the writing, the narration (except the female narrator, she was too theatrical, almost cartoonish).

"Now I get why when CQS called, I had to come. That was my last call home - and here I am."

When Malerick's past comes to his hometown, he's not anywhere near ready to deal with Cassian and all the feelings he brings with him. He'd prefer their past stays in the past, but he knows that's impossible because Cass is a force he simply cannot ignore. And then there's Delilah "Lilah." He's flirted with the idea of asking her out, but has never really taken the leap. Now Cass is here, though, and the 3 of them together just may not be able to resist fall into each other.

"I never thought I'd want forever. But with you? With both of you? I want everything."

Finally! We finally get Malerick's story, and damn, it is so worth the wait. I just knew there was a lot going on beneath his broody exterior, but I had no idea just how much. Then Cass comes storming back and whew, they sizzled together before Malerick even turned around and laid eyes on him again. Delilah was the center, though, the backbone if you will, and it was she who bridged their being able to work through their painful, tumultuous past. And the big mystery that's run through the series is finally laid open and very satisfyingly laid to rest. Malerick, Delilah, and Cass go through it, and find out on the other side that their union was made stronger for all the pain they had to suffer to get there. I'm going to miss the Timberbridge brothers, but I guess if Claudia had to end their series, she saved the best for last.

I absolutely loved The Last Call Home by Claudia Burgoa; it is a small-town love story. It is the fifth and final book in The Timberbridge Brothers series. I was hooked from the first few pages of The Last Call Home; it was impossible to put down and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? Love the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and plot twists included in The Last Call Home. The Last Call Home is the story of Delilah “Lilah” Mora, owner or The Honey Drop café, Malerick Timberbridge sheriff in Birchwood Springs, and Cassian Harlan, owner of The Last Light bar. Malerick and Cassian were lovers while they worked for the FBI and things ended badly and they have not seen each other since. When Cassian sees Delilah and Malerick interacting at The Honey Drop, he is immediately smitten with Delilah. Rosalinda, Delilah’s mother, is trying to play matchmaker between Malerick and Delilah or Cassian and Delilah. Malerick and Cassian approach Delilah about a relationship with the two of them. Delilah agrees but Malerick and Cassian must fix what happened between them in the past. They each have their own childhood ghosts that they keep secret. Malerick and Cassian both work Crait Quantum Shield who are trying to figure out what is going on with the Hollow Syndicate and are trying to determine who is Desmond Draven’s heir. Even though The Last Call Home is the last story in the series, I enjoyed how the other stories are recapped with Malerick’s involvement in them. I love the sizzling chemistry between Delilah, Malerick, and Cassian and the push and pull of conversations between them flow so easily, with flirting, innuendos, and playful banter and how Cassian calls Delilah, “Lilah” the same name her mother calls her. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations between Delilah, Malerick, and Cassian and how they each reveal secrets of their childhoods I love how the Timberbridge brothers have come together and try to figure out who was behind the Hollow Syndicate. I love how the brothers reconcile in spite of their traumatic childhood. I loved that The Last Call Home is a more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Delilah, Malerick, and Cassian are facing that need to be resolved. A plot twist threatens Delilah’s life, and I love the role that Malerick and Cassian play in her rescue and all that is revealed during the mission. Claudia Burgoa revealed that the events happening in Birchwood Springs would not be resolved until the last book in the series, so glad that everything was resolved in The Last Call Home and love the secrets revealed in The Last Call Home. I love the ending of the love story, and how both Delilah, Malerick, and Cassian change because of their love for one another and everything that they are willing to do to have a life together. I love the ending of their love story, especially the three epilogues that are told from the perspective of Malerick, Delilah, and Cassian, and the surprises revealed. It was the perfect ending of their love story. My favorite part is how Claudia Burgoa included the title of the book into the story with a simple thought from Malerick. I love all the descriptions of the Birchwood Springs setting. The Last Call Home is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, Claudia Burgoa did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments, plot twists and surprises that filled this page turner. I really enjoy how the book is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. I love all the characters in The Last Call Home. They feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Timberbridge brothers and the family dynamic, and their brokenness, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved catching up with all the Timberbridge brothers and their significant others. I thoroughly enjoyed The Last Call Home, who does not love a small-town love story. It was an incredible farewell to the Timberbridge family. Finally got to discover what was really going on in Birchwood Springs and who was really behind it. Highly recommend this incredible love story. Received an advanced copy from the author.

The Last Call Home brings the wonderful Timberbridge Brothers series by Claudia Burgoa to a conclusion. We have followed the brothers find their partners while they battle not only their demons but also the syndicate determined to take over their town. Finally it’s Malerick’s story and the author saved the best for last. We get an MMF romance between Malerick, Cassian Harlan and Delilah Mora, which is full of angst and spice. The poly relationship is an emotional slow burn as all three of them have issues to address. Can they build something real, let each other in and find a reason to stay. It is also a hate to love, second chance for the guys but can they stop pretending, face their feelings, heal themselves and accept the love they both deserve along with the woman they both want. Then we get all the suspense, family drama, and action as they protect their town and the people they love. There are great twists and turns in the plot as secrets are revealed, questions answered and the mystery eventually solved.

"I never thought I'd want forever. But with you? With both of you? I want everything.”

Malerick, the oldest brother, is a quiet, broody and grumpy man whose life has been one of survival. He spent years protecting his brothers from their father but when things got so bad he left and joined the FBI. When Birchwood Springs needed a sheriff to deal with the Hollow Syndicate he came home but is now worried his brothers are being targeted. He has had to deal with arson, kidnapping and his brothers returning one by one. This book starts before Atlas and Keir have returned. He has also fallen for Delilah but doesn’t want to put her in danger so has resisted her advances. Due to events in his life he has never been able to deal with his emotions and to add to his problems, his past arrives in town.

Delilah runs The Honey Drop for her mum. She is full of sass and sarcasm, determined to live life her way. She’s very observant and suspicious of the weird things happening in town. Her mother Rosalinda is a worry for her but very funny as she meddles in her love life and swears she keeps seeing Delilah’s dead father. Delilah fancies Mal so teases and flirts with him but to no avail so she thinks he’s not interested. Then the charismatic and handsome Cassian walks into the bakery and flirts with her, so now she has two men to choose from! She feels the sexual tension between the men and notices how Cassian looks like he wants Mal as well as her. She wants some fun but would she enjoy being with both men?

Cassian is a morally grey character, full of confidence and a sinful smirk. He moved from the FBI to join a private security firm but there was a reason for him leaving. His new mission is to monitor the town but he has an ulterior motive so he has bought the Last Light Bar. He falls for Delilah the moment he lays his eyes on her but also notices the connection between her and Mal. All his feelings for Mal come back with a vengeance because they have a sad, heartbreaking and complicated backstory. They are flooded with the memories of their time together and the chemistry between them sets the pages on fire. Cassian knows Mal wants to be loved but doesn’t believe he deserves it. Are they both still too scared to admit their feelings? Could they have something real with Delilah?

Nysa and Gale tell her about the syndicate and the danger the family is in. As she puts all the pieces together, she calls the guys out on what is happening and her relationship with them develops. She gives them a great ultimatum as she wants both of them but they need to keep it a secret.

The war against Desmond Draven increases as more family secrets come to light and a mystery heir needs to be found. Mal is cross Atlas is back especially as he’s brought more problems with him and Keir is missing. Then Delilah’s bakery is blown up and there’s an unidentified road accident victim. The brothers are shocked over who is targeting them and then more revelations put Delilah in danger but she shows great initiative to help Mal and Cassian.

It was lovely ending seeing the brothers finally back together and happy. Their father may have broken them but they’ve all survived to become a family again. I will miss them as all their romances were different and the suspense over the syndicate interesting.

OMG! A page-turner indeed! This is not the story you think it is—it is so much more! Get ready to be engaged in a story like no other. My heart outright swooned when I read this arduous MFM romantic suspense that will leave you heartbroken with its emotional turmoil and questioning everything! THE LAST CALL HOME is the fifth and final book of The Timberbridge Brothers. Trust me when I say no one is safe from Claudia Burgoa’s twists and turns. This is Malerick (Mal) Timberbridge, Delilah Mora, and Cassian Harlan’s story.

Malerick is the Sheriff of Birchwood Springs, and he is handsome, broody, a protector, and he is very much single. He used to be with the FBI, but he vowed never to return to Birchwood, but here he is—back in Birchwood. Why did he return? As Sheriff, Malerick is investigating several incidents that have occurred in Birchwood and all involved the Syndicate. Why is the Syndicate coming to Birchwood—are they after the Timberbridge brothers, the town itself, or both? One thing for sure, Malerick will protect everyone he cares about, even the pain from his past—he has secrets to protect.

Delilah Mora is the owner of The Honey Drop coffee shop. Delilah is a force to be reckoned with, and she’s a spitfire. Delilah has her eye on the Sheriff, but it appears that Malerick doesn’t recognize a flirt when he sees it because he is already married to his job. What Delilah doesn’t know is Malerick really likes her, but because of the incidents that occurred in the town, he is trying to protect her by not being involved. Then, one day at The Honey Drop, a voice from the past sounded. One that Malerick would recognize anywhere—Cassian Harlan! Cassian is the owner of the bar in Birchwood. Why all of a sudden is Cassian there? Is he there because of the Organization or the Syndicate? Too many questions and too many unanswered questions! Cassian and Malerick were partners in the FBI. Cassian, the smooth handsome talker with plenty of charisma noticed Delilah, and he is enamored with the obstinate woman. But, what he noticed and remembered most is the time he spent with Malerick while working for the FBI. He spent every minute, hour, and days trying to forget him, but he learned to live with his unexpected reality. I was completely immersed in Cassian and Malerick’s struggle to overcome their hurtful past and make a life for themselves. Cassian shows Delilah that he is interested, but Delilah wants both Malerick and Cassian. Why pick one when you can have two! Delilah, Malerick, and Cassian are attracted to each other, and they are drawn together like the proverbial moth to the flame and their chemistry is off-the-chart HOT! But, when you find out that the truth isn’t always what it seems, what do you do about it? When a situation puts Delilah’s life at risk, will Malerick and Cassian be able to protect Delilah? Who is behind the threats? The question is, will their burgeoning love survive beneath a shroud of uncertainty and despair? Find out what happened! Claudia Burgoa is a skilled wordsmith who excels at writing love stories that are raw, real, and with a warmth so palpable her characters steal their way into your heart and remains for a long time.

The narrators: J.F. Harding (Malerick), Dominique Franceschi (Delilah), and Jason Clarke (Cassian) were awesome! I love hearing the multi-cast narrations because it makes the story seem more realistic. I love the verbal inflections that each narrator does of the characters they portrayed. This audiobook is worth listening to!

THE LAST CALL HOME
The Timberbridge Brothers
By: Claudia Burgoa
Narrated by: JF Harding, Jason Clarke, Dominique Franceschi

Wow, Claudia Burgoa gets your heart-pounding and takes you to the edge of your seat for this last book of her “Timberbridge Brothers” series. I have been loving this series and looking forward to Malerick’s story ever since meeting him in the earlier books. There is a lot more to Malerick than meets the eye, and we learn what brought him back home to Birchwood Springs, since he, like his other brothers, never planned on returning, and here he is, the town’s sheriff. The ongoing investigation heats up as they close in on who is trying to infiltrate and take over the town, and it is getting more dangerous for them. Then, Malerick’s past comes to town, Cassian, who brings up old memories and feelings. Cassian is there for a reason, working for the Organization, which sent him in as a reinforcement, a back-up to those already on the ground. But that may not be the only reason he is there, since he and Malerick have unfinished business. Delilah works at her mother’s bakery, a business she built from the ground. Malerick had his eye on her and she on him, but the two never got past the flirting stages, that was until Cassian joined the fun. I loved Delilah’s spirit and what she brought to the relationship, and it was great watching these three get to know each other and see their relationship morph into something so much more. These characters and their backstories intrigued me, and I thought they were great together and for each other. Cassian and Malerick were being protective of her, but not protective enough, because their worst fear came to fruition. This fast-moving, cleverly plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, action, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn, but so worth the wait romance. I loved all the layers of the story and the complex web Burgoa weaved, unwinding them while putting all the pieces of the puzzle together, keeping you guessing and on your toes. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for this incredible story and emotional rollercoaster ride, a wild ride and impressive journey.

🎧📚🎧  Claudia Burgoa has a knack for always casting the perfect narrators to bring her characters to life, and she landed with a trifecta of superbly talented voice artists. JF Harding, Jason Clarke, and Dominique Franceschi were a fantastic narration team with talent and voices that worked well together and an enthralling performance that pulls you into the story and keeps you there. Franceschi’s portrayal of Delilah was spot on, embodying her personality completely, her wit, her fierceness and determination, and was just as amazing as Delilah’s mom. JF Harding and Jason Clarke nailed it as Malerick and Cassian, both showcasing their personalities perfectly, delivering a swoon-worthy performance. Their tone and pacing were right for the story, and they conveyed all the characters’ emotions, making you feel them all. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Last Call Home is the conclusion to the Timberbridge series. If you love stories that are angsty and dark, slow burn and highly emotional, with alpha and possessive military men who love each other as well as the sassy no-nonsense bakery owner, in a small town, then you need to read this! Delilah is a woman with a spine, who unapologetically demands what she want, while staring you in the eye, daring you to blink.

Throughout this series, the Hollow Syndicate has been after the Timberbridge brothers and the town of Birchwood Springs. It all culminates in this last story. There are a few OMG as well as a-ha moments. What will keep you reading into the night is when you realize who the characters are to each other, who has come back from the dead, and how the puzzle just clicks together. From there, it was an explosion of events until the end. Phew!

The first half of this story, though, I found to be too quick. Some time passes, or weeks have passed, and it just felt like a lot of the relationship in the meantime was also skipped. I would have liked to get more background on Mal (and Cassian’s) past. Because the man who broke him 20 years ago, is back to claim him and Delilah. And I love that Delilah chose both Malerick and Cassian.

I also listened to the audiobook and I was so, so blown away! These are all narrators that I’ve loved for so long, and they did not disappoint. The angst! The heartbreak! The love and the spicy scenes! All were amazingly done.

Thank you Claudia Burgoa for this ARC and ALC. The above is my own and personal opinion.Last Call Home is the conclusion to the Timberbridge series. The Last Call Home is the fifth and final book in Burgoa's The Timberbridge Brothers series. This one features Malerick (Mal) Timberbridge, Cassian (Cass) Harlan, and Delilah (Del or Lilah) Mora. Theirs is a beautiful poly love story which also brings readers the much needed closure to the Hollow Syndicate mystery which has been masterfully woven through all five books.

Mal has returned to Birchwood Springs as the sheriff in order to keep an eye on things as the Hollow Syndicate attempts to maneuver their way into the town with the intent to take over. Mal knows they're searching for Desmond Draven, the leader's, heir, but no one seems to know who that is.

Cass unexpectedly moved to Birchwood Springs, purchases the bar and renames it the Last Light Bar. He too is there undercover, working for Crait Quantum Shield. Readers quickly learn that he and Mal were partners in the past, in more ways than one. Unfortunately, when it ended, it left Mal heartbroken and angry.

Delilah run The Honey Drop, a cafe her mother started, and a Birchwood Springs institution. While her mother, Rosalinda, continues to pressure her about finding a partner, all she wants is a no-strings attached arrangement. She was hoping Mal would be interested, but when he doesn't take her up on it, she considers newcomer, Cass.

Mal's hesitation isn't because he isn't attracted to Delilah. He is afraid of putting a target on her back as bad things seem to keep happening to the Timberbridge brothers. However, when Cass expresses interest, jealousy rears its ugly head. How to solve this problem? Sharing, of course.

Delilah helps Mal and Cass find their way back to each other and heal old wounds. With her addition to the relationship, love flourishes, and all three find exactly what they needed.

In addition to some deliciously spicy scenes, the author also revisits highlights from the previous Timberbridge Brothers books, and finally reveals all to the readers. Burgoa also brings everyone together, helping the brothers move past their differences and embrace their shared love and appreciation for their partners and found family.

I both read the book and listened to the audiobook which was narrated by JF Harding, Dominique Franceschi, and Jason Clarke. Listening to these skilled voice actors only enhanced my experience. They brought the characters to life and pulled me into the story. I especially loved Dominique's rendition of Rosalinda, the feisty, sassy, momma bear. I adored the scene where Delilah tells her about her relationship with Mal and Cass, and Rosalinda's reaction demonstrates not only her love for her daughter but also her openness and acceptance for their poly relationship.

If you have not explored this wonderful series yet, I highly recommend starting from the beginning in order to fully appreciate the underlying story about the Hollow Syndicate.

While I am sad that this series has been wrapped up as I always need more vitamin-T (Timberbridge), I'm eager to see what Burgoa has in store next for her readers. Whatever it is, I'll definitely be checking it out!

This is book five and the final book in The Timberbridge Brother’s series and it is Malerick, Cassian and Delilah’s story and omg what a way to finish this series and it is definitely a must read. Cassian’s new assignment is in Birchwood Springs where he had a bar called Last Light Bar which he had renovated but whether he stays or goes after this assignment finishes will depend on a lot of factors including Malerick who he had some unfinished business with from his past which could really complicate everything. Malerick is the sheriff in Birchwood Springs which is a place that he didn’t really want to be but with the syndicate causing a lot of trouble and problems he needs to find out what is happening and to deal with them once and for all and now he has a new problem with a new bar opening and he finds out that a blast from his past which he had tried hard to forget and avoid had arrived in a hail of bullets just to make his life even more complicated than it already was and never wanted. Delilah owners the Honey Drop Cafe and works hard to keep it going and to complicate matters she also had the hots for Malerick but he doesn’t seem to take the hint no matter how many times that she flirts with him and then in walks Cassian and everything changes while the atmosphere gets hot, heavy, dirty and different and that is when Delilah realised that she wants both of them preferably at the same time. Malerick, Cassian and Delilah are all drawn to each other and the attraction and chemistry while some past between Malerick and Cassian is still as strong as ever and it is undeniable that what ever happened as never been resolved or gone away. Malerick, Cassian and Delilah definitely have the hots for each other and when they eventually give in to what they want it is absolutely explosive but will everything get even more complicated especially with the syndicate breathing down there necks which means they have to either take them down or eliminate the threat regardless of what they have to do or the consequences involved. Wow there are twists and turns along with suspense, danger, drama, action, hot scenes, kidnapping and situations that will have you on the edge of your seat while holding your breath and turning the pages to see what will happen next in this action packed, heartbreaking and addictive read and also what the outcome will be for them all and the town of Birchwood Springs. This final book has taken you on the biggest rollercoaster ride ever and what a way to end this amazing series and even though I am so sad to come to the end of the Timberbridge Brother’s and all there complicated relationships I also can’t wait to see what Claudia Burgoa writes next and I will definitely be there to read it.

The final installment in The Timberbridge Brothers series has arrived, The Last Call Home is the most fitting title for the end of this amazing series. As always, I recommend reading the series in order, each can be read as a standalone in an interconnected series, but reading in order allows you to get the most out of it.

We are welcomed back to Birchwood Springs and the family that we all know and love. In the final installment we FINALLY get Malerick’s story and his love, and he has not one, but two loves. Much like his brothers, Malerick never thought he would be back in his sleepy home town, but here he is, and the sheriff nonetheless. As the case involving his family and town continues, Mal is hit with a blast from the past, Cassian is back. Sent via the Organization as back-up, Cassian is in town to help solve the mystery threatening the sleepy town and those that live there, but it’s not just the case that’s on his mind.

To add to the already chaotic mix we have Delilah, the owner of the Honey Drop Cafe, the local bakery in town. She and Malerick have a flirty relationship, but no matter how many hints she seems to drop, Malerick doesn’t take the bait, that is until Cassian drops into town. Cassian brings another level of heat to the budding relationship between Malerick and Delilah, but things explode even more when Delilah decides she can’t choose between them and instead wants them both. Both Malerick and Cassian can’t deny the feelings and attraction they feel for Delilah, so eventually they all give into their needs. While their new relationship forms, the guys work together to stop the cartel from destroying their town and their new found happiness.

Dignity Dang! What a way to end a series. The Last Call Home truly has it all, suspense, danger, love and loss, there isn’t a chapter in the book that doesn’t have the reader on the edge of their seat waiting to see what happens next. These three characters bring such life to the story, each giving something different to the relationship that it needs. Malerick with his brooding intensity, Cassian with his sweet over-protection and dominance, and Deliah who brings strength and softness to the pair. I’m sad to see the series end, but wow, what a way to end it.

Fantastic final installment.

Finally, we get all the answers and the finish we’ve been waiting for. Throughout this series, Claudia has gone full throttle with the suspense and the twists that just kept coming. She didn’t let up with this final book in the series. It was a fast paced, riveting story and I couldn’t stop listening.

What I didn’t expect was the beautiful love story between Mal, Cass and Lilah. I’m not a fan of poly relationships unless they’re well written and Claudia is one of the best with this subject. The sexual tension is high between these three. Mal and Cass have a past beyond their working relationship. Lilah was my favorite part of this. She’s unfiltered, strong, feisty, and wasn’t going to be a third wheel to this arrangement. They decide to keep their relationship a secret for the protection of everyone while the Hollow Syndicate is still a threat. As a result, this actually led to a sweet, slow burn to their story, and I loved it.
This book gives insight into Mal’s childhood, the history between Mal and Cass, and Mal and Lilah. And it’s a lot! I also like that the story’s timeline ran simultaneously to books three and four’s timelines. It was another perspective of previous events and more hints to the lingering questions.

Duet narration by J.F Harding, Jason Clarke, and Dominique Franceschi and they delivered in every aspect of this story. Dominique is new to me, and I absolutely loved her as Lilah. She brought all her sass, emotion and frustration when dealing with her nosy mother. I could picture the eyerolls and laughed out loud at her mother’s reaction to their poly relationship. J.F. Harding portrayed the stoic town sheriff and protective eldest brother perfectly. Jason Clarke as Cass, the agent turned bartender that comes across as gruff but probably loves harder than anyone. These three balanced each other and brought this story to another level.

This was a great wrap up to the series with plenty of twists, surprises, and love stories along the way. There are also THREE epilogues told from each MCs perspective which help ease the ending of these Timberbridge brothers.

This final Timberbridge brother's story is intriguing, intense, and super hot and sexy, and I was hooked the entire time! I have been excited for the broody Malerick Timberbridge's story and it definitely did not disappoint! Malerick is back in Birchwood Springs working as the sheriff, and still keeping secrets. He is investigating why the cartel is targeting his town and his family. He is also attracted to Delilah, the gorgeous woman helping her mom with the town's bakery, but keeps his distance, afraid he will put her life in danger. When Cassian Harlan, his old partner in the FBI opens a bar in town, it brings back too many heartbreaking memories. He is all confidence and charisma, and neither Malerick or Delilah can resist Cassian, or the allure of the three of them together. Delilah feels the burning emotions that are buried between Malerick and Caaian, but are afraid to revisit their past. They both want Delilah and she is helpless to deny their sizzling attraction. As Malerick and Cassian work to stop the cartel and the destruction happening to those they care about, a secret past that Delilah didn't know about, adds even more danger to them all. This is a heart pounding ride of suspense, desire, determination & love! I was on the edge of my seat, completely consumed by this story. I loved Delilah's strength and resilience, Malerick's broody intensity, and Cassian's contrasting sweetness with alpha-protector, and dominance. I loved how playful they all were together, and their chemistry was off the charts! Their relationship was complex and sizzling and I loved the way it played out. I was completely consumed by this thrilling, passionate and addictive conclusion to the Timberbridge Brothers series!
JF Harding as Mal, Jason Clarke as Cassian and Domenique Franceschi as Delilah were all amazing as they bring this story to life. Their perfect inflections, beautiful accent, and gripping delivery, compelled me to feel everything these characters think and experience. They embodied these characters perfectly making my heart race from beginning to end.

The single most important emotion I felt throughout this book is “want”. Cassian arrives at Birchwood Springs, buys a bar, and prepares to settle for some time on his assignation. The CSQ, who are working on taking down the Hollow Syndicate, want him there to help on the operation. He didn’t know that Malerick was in town, also on assignment with the FBI, posing as the town sheriff, and with the same purpose. When Cass arrives at Delilah’s coffee shop, finds Mal there, there’s a complete scene all full of emotions, want, lust, longing, guilt, resentment, and a very heavy sexual tension, very little words. That scene was intense!

What came out of that scene and other meet ups, is that Mal and Cass used to work together in the FBI, had a relation that blew up disastrously and left them both full of many regrets and broken feelings. There’s a sense of wanting to belong, wanting love and family, and wanting to be home. As their work progresses, so does the courtship between Delilah, Malerick, and Cassian, all abetted and supported by Rosalinda, Delilah’s mother. She’s anxious to find a spouse for her daughter, wants grandkids. She’s a force to be reckoned in this town; even Cassian, experienced operator that he is, is scared of her.

There’s suspense and there’s sex, in equal amounts. There’s a lot of tension, as Delilah makes her demands and waits for her men to deliver: the truth or nothing. It’s very interesting that Atlas and Keir’s stories happen during the course of this book, so this one takes several months to happen. There seems to be a lot of waiting, and a lot of playing for our throuple. They wanted each other, and they were doing the work, lead by Delilah.

I loved to see them coming home to each other, was biting my nails in the final part of the book where things were coming to a conclusion in unexpected ways. There’s surprises in the book, very intriguing. I actually wanted more of the three as they settle into domestic bliss, so sorry to see them all go.

The Last Call Home is the 5th and final book in The Timberbridge Brothers series centering on the eldest sibling, Malerick Timberbridge, and his complex relationship with Cassian and Delilah.

Their MMF tale tied up lingering questions from earlier books. We finally learn what brought Mal back to Birchwood Springs, his history with Cassian, and discover the true target of the elusive Hollow Syndicate. We get a great blend of suspense, passion, danger, action, secrets and so much more.

Along the way, the poly relationship slowly evolves with Mal, Cassian and Delilah.
Personally, I felt a stronger emotional and physical chemistry between the two men, but I appreciated how fiercely protective they both were of Delilah. Their dynamic felt raw, and real.

Overall, this series has been a joy to read. Watching the Timberbridge brothers grow both individually and together, was incredibly rewarding. The Last Call Home is not just an enjoyable read; it’s a heartfelt and fitting conclusion to a journey that’s been equal parts intense and tender.

The audiobook featured stellar narration by Jason Clarke and JF Harding as Cassian and Mal, respectively, with Dominique Franceschi voicing Delilah. While Clarke and Harding delivered captivating performances that brought their characters to life, I found Franceschi’s portrayal of Delilah less compelling. That said, her rendition of Rosalinda—Delilah’s mother—was a standout. She infused the character with warmth and depth that made every scene with Rosalinda shine.

The chemistry between the male narrators was electric, adding a layer of intensity that practically sizzled off the speakers. Their dynamic kept me hooked from start to finish, making the story feel vivid and emotionally charged. Overall, the narration elevated the entire experience and made it impossible to press pause.

✨Audiobook Review✨

HOLY MOLY!!! I DID NOT SEE THESE TWISTS!!!! This was a great way to end this series! I'm so sad it's over but have had the best time getting to know all of these Timberbridge Brothers! This book had me on the edge of my seat waiting to find out was going on and how everything was going to come together. I listened to 90 % of this book in one day but didn't get it finished until the next morning and let me tell you it was hard waiting! LOL

The narrators J.F. Harding, Dominique Franceschi and Jason Clarke did a PHENOMENAL job telling this story! I didn't want to stop listening to them. Their voices will keep you entertained and hold your attention through the entire audiobook.

Claudia brought us an emotional book this time around and also took us on a different romance path with a Poly relationship! I know not everyone likes those but I was here for it!! Maverick and Cassian are broody, broken and have a past they will have to work through but the love they have for each other will get them through. Especially now that they have the beautiful Delilah.

Delilah is a sweet and lovable character who has a coffee shop. She also has the sweetest Spanish speaking Mama! You will fall in love with her Mama! This sassy woman takes no crap from anyone. Delilah falls head over heels for Maverick and Cassian and you will love listening to their relationship fall into place. I love how they work together and the way they support one another. It's such a beautiful relationship and story!

This book will have you on the edge of your seat, you'll be laughing, smiling, swooning, getting emotional, mad at times, say OMG WHAT?? a few time, blush and then you will be left with a BEAUTIFUL ending!! I HIGHLY recommend this book and this series!!!

Thank you Claudia Burgoa for allowing me to listen to this ALC for my honest opinion.

🎧ALC REVIEW🎧
This was a great ending to the Timberbridge brothers series!

Mal - Eldest Timberbridge brother and broody small town sheriff
Cassian - Newest Birchwood Springs resident and bar owner, and Mal’s former partner in the FBI.
Delilah - 2nd generation cafe owner, daughter of a meddling Mexican mother

We’ve been teased a little about Mal’s story in the previous books, and it definitely lived up to the anticipation! And an MMF story at that! (I did have to step away from the audio a few times because it was a little too spicy to listen to in public!) We also got a satisfying conclusion to the Hollow Syndicate story line that was woven across the earlier books, and more information about the mysterious company that Mal & Cassian work for.

Mal & Cassian were previously in a poly relationship with another woman, when they were partners in the FBI. That relationship ended badly (due to the woman’s decisions), and they are hesitant to re-enter that dynamic with Delilah (who has always had a thing for Mal). They also want to protect her by keeping her at a distance - worried that the Syndicate could use her to get to them. (I appreciate when stories have something like this that the characters need to work through to get their HEA - it’s much more satisfying to me!)

There is a little bit of timeline overlap with a couple of the other Timberbridge brothers’ stories, and I liked that we got to peek in on those relationships as well. I also really enjoyed Delilah’s mother and her meddling.

🎧The audio of this is narrated by JF Harding, Dominique Franceschi, and Jason Clarke and they did a fabulous job!

Highly recommend, but you definitely need to read this series in order!

**I received an advance listener copy of this book, but the opinions are all mine!

The Last Call Home
The Timberbridge Brothers 5
By Claudia Burgoa
Narrated by JF Harding, Jason Clarke, Domenique Franceschi

I have to say, I am not ready to let these Timberbridge men go! But what a story Claudia Burgoa shares! This amazing listen features Malerick. The sheriff of Birchwood Springs, there always was a mystique surrounding him, and he was up to something with shutting down the syndicate not just keeping the townspeople safe. When he sees Cassian though, it throws him. The one that got away, this man set Mal off kilter, and he does the same to Cassian. The question though is why is he in town, running the local bar and hitting on Delilah, the bakery owner. She has her eyes on Mal, but holding her at arms length may throw her right into the arms of Cass. Or would she be up to a threesome? As danger comes closer to town and lands at Delilah's feet, close proximity may do just that. But will these two be able to keep her safe? Or will their feelings get in the way? Passion, pain, danger, stalking, excitement, siblings, a meddling mother, it's all there in this fabulous ending. I could not stop listening, as Burgoa crafted a story that had me on edge and I just had to see how it all played out. This is a fabulous series with a few Easter eggs pointing to previous stories just making it all the better. This is a must listen!

JF Harding as Mal, Jason Clarke as Cassian and Domenique Franceschi as Delilah create magic with their narration. The chemistry between these three is undeniable, and the personalities they create are spot on. Their talents shine through, building the sexual tension and the dangerous suspense which pulled me in and kept me riveted. An amazing casting led to an incredible listen.
