[chapters 1-15, volume ~1-2?] I think that even if you choose not to interpret a story about two in-universe racist teen serial killers as politically conservative (and there’s some prettttty obvious red flags in here), nothing about this comic is very original or interesting. Tonally just a worse Chainsaw Man. This would’ve been the top webcomic on deviantart in like 2009 though

L'opera si presenta scorrevole, uno shōnen con un afflato umorale-comico abbastanza forte misto ad una violenza grafica che ben contrasta con la resa tra protagonisti e antagonisti (gli alieni), senza risultare mai troppo splatter (altrimenti difficilmente sarebbe per un target giovane): la scelta di averli resi in modo così differente funziona molto bene, ricordando quel senso di alienazione (quite literally in this case) presente in "Buona Notte, Pun Pun!".
Si percepiscono dei pattern narrativi tra un capitolo e l'altro, il che rende la lettura abbastanza fresca da risultare interessante, senza perdere completamente la coesione tra le sue parti costituenti, cosa che potrebbe non risultare banale per altri manga della categoria. L'idea di fondo è abbastanza originale, anche se devo ancora capire dove si posiziona la possibile chiave di lettura del rapporto tra gli umani e gli alieni. Dal primo volume, si configura come una storia tra colonizzati vs colonizzatori, che potrebbe rendere il tutto abbastanza interessante per via dei sentimenti, anche estremi, che derivano da questa premessa.
Resta comunque un'opera sostanzialmente destinata a ragazzi, con tutti i vincoli del caso. I personaggi sono chiari e ben delineati, anche se, al momento, non particolarmente profondi. Che potrebbe non essere neanche un requisito necessario per la storia in questione.
Disegnato bene, non l'ho trovata la più interessante o eccitante delle letture dell'ultimo periodo. Lettura non indispensabile, ma neanche da evitare.

Great new series. One I look forward to on Sunday’s now along with Centuria. They Were feeling a bit bare since JJK finished. Though of course one piece & spyxfamily are constants too. Though they don’t quite have the ‘I need to know what happens next!’ factor at the moment. Since the start this series has often had me really eager to find out what is going to happen next week.

Still don't understand why the title is Drama Queen tho.
The duo combination is nice, but she kinda...too much 'not normal' not in the bad way, but did really rhere is someone outhere have same behavior and line of thinking like her? Just curious though.

I will continue reading this, it's fun.
