He’s my best friend, there’s no way I can act on my feelings for him.

Every day it’s the same thing when I clock in at our family owned winery. Take pictures, post them online, and answer emails. Rinse and repeat. I have big ideas to take Starlit Fields Winery to the next level, but my family won’t listen.

The one person who always has my back is my best friend, Beau. He’s the best hype man I could hope for, and has been since we were teenagers. With his help, I’ve put together a presentation to knock the socks off my family. Except…it doesn’t work.

After a drunken night to blow off some steam, I do the one thing I know I shouldn’t. Kiss him. Now, things are—awkward. To make matters worse, he’s still helping me convince my family I know what I’m doing.

Did I ruin our friendship? Or open the door for something more?

I absotutely love anything that takes place in a small town, and @katrinamarieauthor did not disappoint! From the very first chapter, I was completely swept up in the cozy charm of Starlit Fields Winery and the sweet slow-burn connection between Beau and Piper. this friends-to-lovers romance was everything I didn’t know I needed—warm, emotional, and full of heart.

Beau and Piper are absolutely adorable together. I loved how natural their relationship felt—their bond was so tight-knit, full of mutual support, inside jokes, and genuine care. Watching them take risks and chase after their dreams, together, was so uplifting. And the family-owned winery setting? Perfection. It made me want to pack my bags and find a place like this in real life which Acura wasn’t hard because I’ve been to a few wineries living in Texas myself so it was super relatable for me and I could see myself in the pages, like I was right there beside them under the Texas stars.

This was such a feel-good read that I devoured it in a single day. Cozy, romantic, and emotionally satisfying, Pour Decisions is the perfect start to the Starlit Fields Winery series. I can’t wait to see what comes next—and yes, I’m proudly awarding this one a book trophy. Thank you for the chance to read it early, Katrina Marie! 💛🍷📚

This is book one in the Starlit Fields Winery Series.
Piper met Beau as a child on the bus when his family moved to town. They became best friends and neighbors. When Piper becomes an adult, she joins the family-owned winery headed by her older brother Pierce. Piper wants to expand their social media marketing but no one else in the family is behind her. Meanwhile Piper and Beau both want more but are afraid of ruining their friendship.
This is a cozy, romantic read with minimal spice. Beau and Piper are so adorable with their inside jokes and the tight bond they share. I found this as a heartfelt, emotional read full of warmth. I love small town romance and finished this in one day.

Best friends Piper and Beau have had romantic feelings for each other for years but are both afraid of telling the other and ruining their friendship. But when Piper kisses Beau he decides it's time to show her how he feels despite her pushing him away, but a secret he's forced to keep could push her away anyway. Her oldest brother Pierce seemed to let power go to his head and keeps disparaging her promotional ideas until she goes behind his back. Beau would drop anything for Piper and she doesn't realize how good she has it. Yes he shouldn't have let Pierce manipulate him, but he has a good heart. This was a steamy best friends to lovers romance.

Small town, Contemporary romance and the 1st in the Starlit Fields Winery Series! 🍷

Beau and Piper are just the cutest couple ever! I really liked the friends to more aspect and how tight knit their relationship is. And I love the idea of a family-owned winery. I know there have to be places like this out in the world and I want to go! Lol This book is a feel good read where you can watch them reach for the stars, putting their hope and dreams on the line for a chance to have everything they have ever wanted. 💕

I love anything that happens in a small-town romance and this did not disappoint. Beau and Piper are absolutely adorable. I usually read enemies to lovers, but this was more of a friend to lovers. This was a cozy read for me and i read it in one day! Anytime i read a small-town romance like this i just picture me in the book! I can't wait to continue this series as it comes out and i will for sure be buying a book trophy for this one!! Thank you so much for the chance to read early

I really liked this story. It centered around a vineyard. Beau and Piper met when they were about 9 and were best friends. Both wanted more, but were afraid of ruining their friendship. Piper worked at the winery with her brothers and Pierce was the oldest, so he was in charge. The story revolved around marketing that Piper wanted to do and Pierce didn't, also Beau and Piper's relationship.

Pour decisions is a sweet story about best friends to lovers. Piper and Beau have been best friends since school and secretly share feelings for each other.

Piper is the baby of the family and she really wishes her big brothers and dad respects her in the family business. Beau always has her back, always there for her.

Their relationship really blooms, is sweet and just how I like them, with the minimum amount of drama.

This was a really fun novella about friends to lovers. It can totally be read as a stand alone but now I would like to go back and read Katrina's "Whopsie Daisy" series as the last one is about the main character's sister. This did a great job of getting into some of the nitty gritty of working with family members in the workplace. Also loved the relationship between Piper and Beau. Spicy, small town fun.

This was the first time I read anything by Katrina Marie and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised and loved all of the banter, arguing back and forth and the action packed page turning read that not only gave me an escape but made me giggle and laugh and because I loved the book so much in paperback I'm hooked on the series of Starlit Fields Winery and look forward to reading the other books in paperback too so I can review them

ARC Review of Pour Decisions by Katrina Marie

This was a cute read. It is a great pallet cleanser, or if you just need a quick break from dark or spicey reads. It is a bit of a slow burn and very minimal spice but still a good read.

We should all be so lucky to make the same “pour decisions” that Piper and Beau make. They start as best friends but grow together and find each other. Beau is such a sweet guy…even though he makes mistakes. Piper, being the baby of the family, does act slightly spoiled but she has a good heart. I am looking forward to finding out how the other siblings get their HEAs!
