Chris & Bella’s Story . . .
Chris and Alex Blackwood were going to be in Monaco for a month, enjoying the build-up up to the annual yacht show while they laid the groundwork as early as possible. Alex was upset to be gone so long from his wife and child, but Chris told him they would be fine. He was happy for Alex, but Chris loved being single and a playboy who wanted to fully enjoy himself. Chris, Alex, Ben, and Daniel were all adopted, roughly the same age, and had grown up together in the Blackwood household. They stepped into the hotel Penthouse and Alex was ready to start work! Chris groaned… it was their first night here! Time to party! He kept it simple. One night only… because he would never find anyone to fill the hole in his heart ever since Bella. He went out by himself and stopped at his favorite bar. He looked up toward the other end while waiting for his drink. There, in front of him, was Isabella Rossi -- he had been missing her for a decade. Why was she here now? He joined her at the end of the bar and it wasn’t long until they were getting hostile and people noticed. He was mostly mad at himself for still wanting her so much despite trying to convince himself he felt nothing for her. She told him she was not going to dredge up old wounds; but her eyes told him something completely different. Neither of them backed away. He kissed her and they left together. Chris and Bella’s story started out promising. I hadn’t read the 2 previous books or anything from this author prior to picking this up and I was able to understand and the dynamic of the Blackwood family.
Bella was conveyed as a strong, independent woman who had her heart broken a decade before by Chris but she brushed herself off and made a life she could be proud of. Chris was adopted into a wealthy, powerful family when he was young. He’s been successful in the Blackwood boating sector of their many businesses.
Even though there wasn’t anything about their past in the form of a prologue, I enjoyed the first half of their story. That’s where it starts to go sideways.
The description of the book talks about a surprise pregnancy but we didn’t even see a hint of that until we’re most of the way thru the story. I loved the raw emotion when that all comes about, even if Chris was a little more than cruel to Bella. Then she turns into a wishy washy wimp, letting her jerk of a dad further bring her down. It just didn’t jive with the first part of the story. And the whole baby aspect of the story dragged on and felt extra. It seemed like the relationship struggles should be the focus of the story but then it became several chapters of baby talk. I found myself skimming thru chapters to get to the end…which actually didn’t disappoint.
Based on this reading experience, I don’t think I’ll look for future books in this series but I might see what else this author has to enjoy. Sometimes a series just isn’t enjoyable but other works exceed expectation.

Shedding the Past for a Happy Future -
This story is about Chris and Bella who get an unexpected second chance, but he was still dealing with so much baggage thanks to his childhood, that he kept messing up their ability to have a great relationship. Even though Chris and Bella were great at times when they spent time together, they seem to want different things out of life and the back and forth between them was putting both of them through an emotional rollercoaster.
However, everything changed for Bella when she found out her life was about to change, so she decided to walk away after Chris made position clear about what he wanted in his life. Luckily, Chris came to his senses in time after taking the time to rethink his life and learn from the other people in his life, that he deserves happiness. Chris finally gained the confidence he needed to let go of his past and fight for a happily ever after with Bella, which she accepted after learning about why he was the way he was.
This was a well-written enjoyable story, with engaging characters and a fantastic storyline, that kept me eagerly turning the pages until I finished reading it. Grab a copy of this book and you won’t regret it.

This is the 3rd story in the Blackwood Billionaire Legacy Series where Chris finds himself in Monaco for the annual Yacht Show along with his brother Alex. Chris wants to go out on their 1st night and have some fun and Alex stays in being a happly married man he doesn’t care to party. When Chris finds himself face to face with the one who got away, Isabella these two are surprised to see one another after many years. They end up spending an amazing night together only for Chris to leave early in the morning breaking both their hearts all over again. When they each go about the yacht show Bella is shocked to discover she’s been assigned to Chris’s boat and they have a rocky start to their professional relationship. When an evil man starts rumors about Chris and his company they cannot find proof so Bella plays both sides to protect Chris only for her secrets to backfire on her. When Bella comes clean Chris is beside himself and loses all trust in both of them. When given a 2nd chance Chris and Bella do what is necessary to find their happiness! After arriving they went straight to the hotel and he suggested to his brother to go with him ,to have some fun but he didn’t accept,so he went alone he entered into a bar and asked for a drink ,he was looking around to spot familiar faces, but he catch a face that he never let out of his mind.Bella she was the love of his life years ago.
When he went to talk to her they were fighting but after they stopped he asked which hotel she’s staying. They went into her hotel room which they made out.
Bella went to Monaco for work she worked all over the world as head of staff on different yachts after that night a month passed .
she ‘s at work she saw him at the deck of a boat,she didn’t know that she’ll work for him.he was pissed and wanted to phone the woman that gave her the work to give him another person, but she challenged him ,she said that she’s here for work.
Another book of the Blackwood brothers,
I love this series, but it can read as a solo.
Highly recommended.

A sweet second chance romance!

After a quick hookup, he leaves early and resolves to not think about her, but life throws them back together when Bella is assigned to work on the Blackwood yacht. They get tangled up again and again and have to figure out if they can work through their past and their issues or if they need to walk away forever.
This is the first book that I’ve read in this series and I enjoyed it. I liked how strong and independent she was portrayed and how she was determined to forge her own path. Personally, Chris was really hard to like at first because he just kept hurting Bella and acting like a jerk, but I did like how he was at the end. I will probably read the other books in the series at some point, but I wasn’t thrilled enough to move them to the top of my TBR.

This book was so marvelous and fantastic. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Chris and Bella had loved each other for
many years but his fear got the best of him . Romance was epic and passion chemistry between them together was sexual. The physical attraction between them was like rollercoaster ride of fun and romance. He has strong connections to his family but he has scars inflicted by his birth parents that truly haunted him. This a great story about love and with forgiveness and understanding. One night with him will change their lives forever with unexpected moment that will connected them for life in this beautiful moment. Joy and happiness was in the cards for them.

Relentless Hearts – 2nd, 3rd, 4th Chances
How many chances is Isabella (Bella) going to give Chris in breaking her heart each time he gives her attention? They were together 10 yrs. ago in a serious relationship but with her serious conversations of dreaming of marriage, children, HEA, he bolts & leaves her. Both have been reminiscing of their deep feelings over those years so when she’s hired as a chef on Chris’s yacht where he’s promoting the newest line of Blackwood yachts for the rich & famous, it’s like time stood still. The chemistry is there, stronger than ever. He’s scared of commitment & runs. He breaks her heart & when she wants to move on, he’s back. This repetition becomes boring for me & if I was Bella, I wouldn’t have given him so many more chances no matter how much I loved him. This story was okay but I much preferred the first two novels of this series.

Chris and Bella broke up a decade ago due to his insecurities even though he never told her that. A chance run-in, while in Monaco for work, brings everything back to the surface. Their feelings never went away and the flames still burn.
While I loved them getting a second chance, they needed to learn how to communicate. Chris pushed and pulled her in every direction and Bella needed to come clean about trying to trick Eli immediately.
They did have a good chemistry, when together, and the 🌶️ was great. Where Ben and Alex had to do a lot more soul searching, I don't feel like Chris did enough.
That being said, I'm completely invested in these Blackwood brothers, at this point, but Chris wasn't my favorite. Being so invested is why I rounded up.
I'm hoping Daniel gets his story soon.

Bella and Chris were in love many years ago but when Bella mention settling down this terrified Chris and he broke it off. Now ten years later they both are in Monaco for the yacht show and run into each other at a bar. They spend the night together and what does Chris do yet again, disappear the next morning. Surprise surprise Bella was hired to over see one of the yachts day to day operations and yes it just so happened to be Chris’s but neither him nor Bella had any idea. The more they are around one another the more they can’t deny their feelings for each other but will his issues from his past cost him his future with the love of his life?
Another great addition to the Blackwood brother series. I loved the storyline and how Josie brings this couple back together. Job well done Josie.

Maybe this book is for you, but it wasn't for me. There were a lot of repetitions. Played with fire was mentioned nine times. He shrugged 29 times! And so on.
They both had no backbone. The push and pull was exhausting. The way she kept getting back together with him while he was being a douche.
If I were her, I would have been long gone—even though I loved the man. Their actions seemed juvenile.
If you love a story where the FMC is a winy pushover and the MMC gets scared a lot.....
The writing was fine—not too robotic but more or less on a loop.
It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. It was somewhere in the middle, which is why I have the three starts.

Josie Hart has done it again with Reckless Hearts and this whole series!!! I love the drama, angst and spice her writing creates. This book was my favorite!!! I love a good serving chance surprise pregnancy romance and this book was all that!! The storyline was exciting, original and page-turning. I couldn’t put this book down because I needed to know what would happen next. The characters were complex, had a heartbreaking history and an undeniable chemistry. I love her FMC’s they are always witty, has a backbone and makes the MMC grovel. Her MMC’s are broody, a little Alpha and bossy!!! I can’t wait to see which brother is brought to his knees next!!!.

This book has so much upheaval in its storyline. Chris and Bella have loved each other for years but his fear got in their way. They have epic chemistry together. He has strong connections to his family but he has scars inflicted by his birth parents that haunt him. This a great story about love, forgiveness and understanding. Monica is one turning point for Bella and Chris but they don’t get their HEA until he goes back to her in Newport. It is a very fast paced story that I enjoyed very much. I would give it more than 5 stars of possible.

If I had a mouthwatering hot ex like Chris and he looked like the cover, I think I might be like Bella and be in some serious trouble trying to keep myself clear of him. So, let me give you some advice if you have never read anything by Josie before your missing out on some of the absolute best romance books ever, and if you are anything like myself and have devoured all of her books so far then you know that she is one FREAKING AWESOME author that you just can't miss out on reading her books.

Chris and Bella’s story has them coming back together when they meet at the annual yacht show. But after a wonderful night he leaves early and disappoints them both. She now has to work with him and there is something’s going on that she tries to help calm things but it ends up backfiring on her. But when she finds out she’s pregnant will this be the straw that helps Chris get over his past and grab his future with Bella.

This is Book 3 in the Blackwood Billionaires (Blackwood Legacy) Series by this author. It is a second chance romance between former sweethearts, Chris and Bella. These two flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. Once they reconnect, it is a bumpy ride with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, forgiveness and redemption, twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. An emotional page turner.

This book is a second chance romance book that will definitely have you enthralled from the beginning until the end and the storyline flows throughout the book. Chris and Bella were a couple and ended up both heartbroken, but when one night together more than they bargin for,but can they find away for a second chance or is it to late ? Plus throw in a surprise pregnancy what could possibly happen? Great Book.

I’ve never been a big fan of second chance romance, but I was really hoping to love Chris and Bella’s story. It was a cute read, but it didn’t hold my interest as well as the first two in the series.
I would’ve loved to have seen more backstory into their first relationship and where things began to change.
All in all a worthwhile read!

This book was such a good read. It was a second romance book that made your heart bump and want to either close your heart because of the feels or want to ask the characters what they were thinking. After reading this book I want to go read the other books too. And I think I found a new favorite author.

Bella and Chris were a couple many years ago when Chris was afraid of settling down. Fast forward 10 years and they meet at a boat show in Monaco. Bella starts a new job and unbeknownst to her or Chris, they will be working together. Will Chris finally figure out Bella is the person for him? Will Bella believe Chris will actually stick around instead of disappearing? Great story.

This relationship had serious ups and downs, but their connection with each other was never in doubt. The way he was scared of committing, and therefore continually letting her down was sad, but she kept the door open every time. Then, there was no more time, and he had to step up.
