Asha had been back in Atlanta for a week and hadn't spoken to Fame. That was just fine with her. She was hoping he stayed gone. She knew that she was asking for too much because as she was putting laundry in the dryer she heard the locks turn on her front door. She prepared herself for what was to come. It always something with Fame. “So you went to see that nigga?” It was the first thing Fame asked Asha. “No, I took my daughter to see her father.” She tried to walk away but he pulled her back. “Stay away from that nigga or I’ll put a bullet in you and him. How the fuck it look, my bitch out of town with the next nigga?” he asked out loud as he walked away. “I can’t stand his ass,” she mumbled. She headed upstairs to check on Brielle and found her still sleeping. She went back downstairs and found Fame in the living room on the phone. She decided to cook dinner. He didn't even live with her but was always at her crib as if he did. She had to figure shit out before it got too out of hand. “I don’t give a fuck what you gotta do, get them RBM niggas! That’s an order.” The comment made Asha perk up. She knew she couldn't let that go down. She didn't know how Fame knew RBM or what ties they had but she couldn't let anything happen to Rahsaan or King. Fame walked in the kitchen a few minutes later and grabbed Asha by the waist. She cringed at his touch. Knowing what she knew now, he creeped her out even more. “I’m about to head out, Ma.” He kissed her neck and all she wanted to do was scrub her body. Fame was far from ugly but his attitude was. The more time Asha spent around him the more layers he shed and his true colors began to show. “Okay,” she replied without turning around. She was planning her escape. She knew that Fame was a dangerous man but she also knew that Rahsaan would protect her. She remembered the first altercation they got into when Fame smacked her. He hit her so hard she’d fallen to the floor. Brielle was two weeks old then and she was still feeling the pain from giving birth but that didn't mean shit to Fame. He was so arrogant and thought the world revolved around him. “I’ll call you later, baby,” he said as he walked out the door. Asha waited five minutes and then went to the living room to look out of the window. He was gone. She used that time to warn Rahsaan. She just hoped that he didn't think she was setting him up. “Hello?” he answered. “Hey, Rahsaan. I need to tell you something.” “What’s up, Asha?” She heard a female in the background catching an attitude. “Tell ya’ bitch to chill, I’m not coming for you,” Asha snapped. “Anyway this guy I've been dating and trying to get away from is a rival of RBM. Now I didn't know this until about fifteen minutes ago when I heard him on the phone. He gave orders to—” “Bitch! You think you’re slick. I knew yo ass wasn't shit.” Rahsaan heard the male voice and the commotion going on in her background and jumped up. “Asha!” he called out, but there was no answer. Fame was beating her like a nigga on the street. He stopped only to pick up the phone and hang it up then he continued to beat her. When he was satisfied that she had been punished he stopped leaving her barely conscious.
I loved RBM from the very first installment; however, this particular installment, I feel was rushed and incomplete! You have to keep the same fyre you started with; if not, end the series! Demettrea, never feel compelled to put out work you know is not your very best ... TRUE FANS WILL WAIT!!! There is nothing wrong with a stand alone book!
I’m seeing a pattern here. Boy meets girl. Girl finds boy unbelievably attractive but she’s a “good girl” so despite how much she’s feeling him, she thinks she’d rather not deal with him. FF mère weeks later and boy and girl have not only slept together, but are madly in love. Enter in ratchet girl he’s just sexing for the time being and boom boy and girl break up. This happens several more Times within a matter of months all while girl and boy are madly in love and by the end they’re expecting and are married. The women have zero ambition. The men are all extremely attractive and wealthy drug dealers with sickening amounts of disposable income. No one uses protection. No one seems to actually have jobs. Everyone has baby sitters all the time. No one is questioning how these people make money. Girl... grow up
It's nice to see the RBM are growing up! I love Rha and Asha! Lovely and Phalon were my favorite couple in this book. I felt bad for Anise and Monte, but I think Monte wasabi king that Anise was going to play him, she was definitely guarding her heart.
I like this book and it fits well with the rest of the series. It’s has a lot of sex and drama but not a lot of violence. Overall, I would recommend this book to readers who like urban literature.
I enjoyed getting to know some other members of the RBM. I was hoping to get more understanding on a few things from book 2, but nevertheless this was a good read.
Give me more! I am loving this whole series right now. When will people learn to leave the wives and husbands of this group alone? RBM is not one to play with.
I like this book better than the previous books of the rich boy series This book made you laugh smile cheer cry all the emotions but in the end it was beautiful
This was an alright read. Short and rushed. I am a big fan of Demettrea, but this wasn't no where near the caliber of work that is usually done. I know there is a Part Four coming and I hope that is better. I love the RBM and I am glad to see Ryan and King are still together. I love Phaylon and I hope Monte and Anise get it together. I would also like to continue the story with Trent, A'more, Change, and Raheem. Definitely recommended.
This was a good read and focused more on the members of RBM instead of King and Ryan. As usual the guys had to put the gunplay down and show the nonbelievers who's boss. Lives were changed through trial and tribulation. When it's all said and done everything was all good. The only thing I hated was once again a good piece of the book was focused on previews. The book ended at 88% so I wasn't too happy with that.
Huniiii huni..... Tho it waayy shorter than i expected i LOOVE Phalon!! And pretty much all the new ppl she added! I hope there is a book 4 coming and i hope its much longer cause RBM just needs no deserves for u to stay in their world for as long as damn possible!! Loooove tht my boy King and Ryan were still BOMB as usual!! Great job once again!!
I finished this book in just 2 hours. I couldn't put this book down. I was entertained from the beginning to the end and every event that occurred in this book was unpredictable, it had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the ending but I have a feeling that a part 4 of Rich Boy Mafia will be coming out soon.
I just felt like this was just okay. It seemed rushed and there were too many new characters. There were also too many errors this time around. But I have hope that the next part will be better. Each book seems to end well yet it continues. I like the story so I will continue to read on.
Oh I so love this series and I can't get enough and the characters like Phalon, King, Rah, Lovely, Ryan, Asha I would love to here more about them and their friends in the next book so keep writing good work for us.
I loved how Rashaan & Asha worked things out. When somebody text you from someone phone check with that person to make sure it's legit. Glad everything worked out for them. Ready to see how the next part goes. Them RBM boys are something else. Hope anise & Monte work things out.
This whole series was awesome. The rbm boys don't play games, and these ladies are just as crazy.A must read series a final book is needed most definitely.
