Chyanne Johnson has finally gotten her act together. After all of the drama that ensued when she discovered that Aric McHale—her former boss, lover, and father to her son—was married, Chyanne has found a man to call her own. She has it made in the shade . . . or so she thinks. Stephanie, Aric’s ex-wife, may have been found guilty of attempted murder, but she hasn’t been sentenced yet. She is still free to walk to the streets. Gabriel, Aric’s best friend, is trying to deal with the fallout from Stephanie’s conviction. He has to face issues surrounding his mother and father’s secret relationship, as well as keep a secret from Aric that could ruin their friendship. Aric thought he didn’t want to be with Chyanne, until he saw how happy she was with Jamie. Now he’s rethinking his decision to leave her alone. When it comes to Chyanne, what Aric wants is what Aric gets. Jamie has some skeletons of his own that are about to fall out of the closet. With all of the lies that will be exposed, Jamie and Chyanne’s seemingly perfect relationship just might come unraveled.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. Aric & Chyanne are back with another episode of Secrets,Lies, and Deception, but now more characters are entwined in their tumultuous love affair.Chyanne is finally happy and living the life she always wanted with Jamie and her son AJ.As secrets are revealed, the fairy-tale life Chyanne think's she has begins to unravel.Aric believes living life as a bachelor is best for him, although he secretly wants what he rejected.Who will be the creator of the turmoil between them this time? Will anyone prevent the destruction of a family before it's too late? This book had so much drama from the beginning to the end,With so many twist and turns you will find yourself switching sides wondering who is right or wrong.Nikki-Michelle delivered another hit with this book. The drama, the suspense and ending have me anticipating a part 4,fingers crossed.

Still #Team Jamie & Chy. Author Nikki Michelle I enjoy calling, one of those authors who have the gift to throw your world around, flip it upside down then leave you deeply affected and invested in her characters. The Tell Me series, leaves me in that place and I love it!

I STILL am #TeamJamie&Chy. A lot of what happened in this book, still breaks my heart but it also reminds you of what life is about, journey, change, growth, and a whole lot of stumbling. Not everyone will accept or understand that, but as you read the series, these characters still reflect even that. So pick up Tell Me No Lies. It's sexy, drama filled, love filled, and exciting.

LOVE!

I hate that I read these books out of order, but they aren't numbered. So, I read book three which is this one first. Sigh. It was good though. I did not like Chyanne. She's trifling. You have a gooood man at home and you don't want to do right. I could maybe understand if Jamie wasn't putting it down, but he was so, she has no excuse. Why was she telling Jamie's personal business to others? She has zero meaning of the word loyalty.
Poor Jamie. He seemed very understanding, kind, lovable, and a beast in bed. Why couldn't she hold him and be supportive. I can't imagine it's easy to tell someone about that. When he saw her in the grocery store and did what he did, I wasn't even mad. And god forbid someone ever did that to me, because I have no words for what I would do to them. That's nasty.
I liked Gabriel but you broke code, my brother. I liked that he visited his mom regularly and wasn't afraid to confront his father.
Aric (rolls eyes) he would not have gotten any of my attention.
There is no help for April.

Wow! I was disappointed the way things ended for Chyanne . . . BUT, it was bound to happen! When you play with fire you WILL get burned! Sometimes, people just don't learn to be content with what is going well!

This was an interesting read. So many dysfunctions to keep up with, yet the author managed to hold my interest throughout.

This book truly explains how life can be so mind boggling. At first it seems so easy to know who to be mad w/ as you read but as you get more in-depth into it, it becomes a tag-a-war. Who is doing right, who is doing wrong, who is plain old confused. You are left on the edge of your bed each time an incident occurs, and just when you assume you know what will happen next you are left shaking b/c of what really happens next. A must read.

I thought that this was an alright novel. There was a tale of child abuse that led to sexual proclivity on the part of one of the main characters. There was also an instance of a guy sleeping with his best friend's ex. This situation led to some disastrous consequences in the book. A mother returning from prison revealed a terrible response to domestic abuse. A mother's advice was nixed and a moment of passion led to life changing actions.

I really enjoyed this book. It had twists and turns and I couldn't put it down. I only had one issue, with all the details in this story the ending was very plain the epilogue could have had more!

I had no idea this book was part of a series, now I have to find the other books in the series to read those. A very interesting and engaging read.
