The third and final book in THE ACROPOLIS SERIES ...
I need to remember my name. I need to remember my father'a legacy. I am a Reinhardt. I have protected my mark. I have fallen in love with a hybrid, the daughter of a powerful she-Demon. I have survived the Labyrinth. I have helped procure the Spear of Destiny to secure the hybrid kingdom on the Outer Levels of Hell.
Now there is only darkness, the cold feel of metal against my skin, the memory of a kiss keeping me warm. For gargoyles know better than to imprison another gargoyle in stone. There is corruption in the gargoyle hierarchy, and I need to escape. I need to save the girl I love. I need to find Deliverance.

This last book is bittersweet. It's the end of Conor and Emma's story. Still filled with emotion and turmoil. If you haven't read labyrinth don't go any further.. Just know you won't be disappointed in this book either.
Emma and Conor are truly being put through the test in this book. If you read the last book it ended pretty horribly. Conor and Will were taken by the Gargoyles and sentenced to death for the worst crime ever, killing their own. Yes, they did it to protect the hybrids but in gargoyle life they are "brainwashed" to kill all demons. To some gargoyles even the hybrids aren't worth saving. They've forgotten what they were put on earth to do. Protect! Somewhere down the road their lines were blurred and they stopped seeing with their hearts and now only see with hatred and the previous malicious acts done to them by Demons in the past. Conor and Will both have seen first hand that together they hybrids are a team, a family, that care for each other. if they were truly demons without souls they wouldn't have the capacity to care or love.
The road ahead is hard for Emma and Conor. They have a lot to prove and so little time. Not many people are willing to chance change but both Conor and Emma are willing to die to prove just that. The hybrids are worth saving and they will stop at nothing.
Honestly, I wanted more to Conor and Emma's story. I know I know... I can't have rainbow and sunshine endings all the time. I understand their situation and in the end they truly got what they wanted.. My greediness just wanted to see everything about them. Truly such a great story. The torture that Conor went through.. O my word. I was breathing hard for him. I loved seeing him grow into a man before my eyes. It was a complete circle and hopefully we will see more of Conor and Emma in the next of Marcus and Dayton's story..
First and foremost thank you R.K for allowing me to be an ARC reader!
oh my goodness where do you even begin! this is an amazing end to the Connor and Emma story. So many emotional twists and turns leaves you guess what will happen next! Connor is a good soul and proves it over and over again in book 3! Emma you can't help but love Emma and all the hybrids and there search to find themselves!
Deliverance the final story in the Acropolis series picks up where Connor and Will Reinhardt have been taken into custody by the gargoyles to sit in judgment of what they did to help the hybrids escape the school and find sanctuary with the SOS. Connor is wasting away and dying waiting for his hearing. But Emma and the hybrids have a plan to rescue the two gargoyles. Even Marcas and Alessandro agree they must do something to help these young men for all they sacrificed for the others. Upon finally entering the fortress Emma is taken and trades her life for Will. She explains to Connor a life without him is not worth her living and doesn’t Will deserve a chance at living. Connor and Emma are kept together until some of the gargoyles decide to take Emma and try to kill her but she escapes knowing Marcas and the others have been waiting for her. So leaving Connor to face his trial Will explains to Emma and the other hybrids he must complete them in order to gain any kind of respect and peace with himself. Alessandro, Marcas, Dayton and their small group of hybrids are in attendance of the “trials” Connor must face. Though Emma struggles to watch him suffer she knows it must be done. In the end Connor survives but not without the idea to challenge the director Gibson for his position. He seeks his mother hoping she can see his point of view and how changes needs to be made to make the gargoyles as steadfast and true as they used to be. She realizes she has been blinded by tradition and agrees to fully support Connor. Gibson accepts and they plan to meet the next day. Connor and Emma spend the night knowing it may be their last but happy to have the chance. He tells her Gibson has never lost in any of his previous challenges but it is something that must be done to change things. It is a battle of wills and skill. Connor and Gibson face off in a long battle but in the end the crowd is divided in who they want to support but Connor is gaining and in the end does not kill Gibson but asks for him to step down and be taken into custody. Gibson only relents because he sees his daughter in the crowd and does not want to fail her any more than he has. Now Connor is now the director of the gargoyles and with that vows to make changes for the future that should have been done all along. Emma is there and while he wants to be with her she steps away not wanting to put his new position in jeopardy with a relationship with a demon. But you know they are supposed to be together and in the end they will figure out how to make it all work - a powerful hybrid demon in love with a gargoyle. R.K. Ryals never disappoints with her stories and characters.
Let me tell you that I found it so meaning full that I was forced to save some quotes, just so that I could just share them with you guys!
I WANT TO THANK R.K. Deliverance is the final book in the Acropolis Series and probably my favorite. It was such an emotional book and I have to admit I cried, a lot. I have become so attached to these characters and in Deliverance they are put through so many painful experiences. Sacrifices are made, leaders are born and love is put to the test.
The Labyrinth left off with Connor and Will being taken by the Gargoyles where they are to be put to death for helping with the hybrids. Oh my goodness I never expected the torture they would have to face. My heart broke in two and I wanted to jump in my kindle and save them. Of course Emma wanted to save him and even put her own life in the line. I just cannot begin to tell you how emotional I became. R.K. Ryals tells a story like no other and you can't help but feel like you are right in the middle of what the characters are experiencing. Brilliant!
I will be honest, I am sad that the series has ended. Connor and Emma's story feels like it has just begun, but I am crossing my fingers that we will get at least a glimpse of them in the final book in the Redemption Series.
Love, love, love Deliverance!!!

❤ I am simply Conor. I am a man in love with an incredible woman, a woman who has survived more than most ever could. ❤
First I want to say thank you to R.K. Ryals for letting me be an ARC reader. She truly is an amazing woman and author.
This was a hard book to read because it is the end of Conor and Emma's story. This book picks up where The Labyrinth leaves off with Conor and Will being captured by the gargoyle council. I love how the action starts right up in this book. Even with all the action going on you still to experience the personal growth of the characters in this book. Conor will definitely make you swoon ❤ Conor never picks the easy road he picks the right road no matter what consequences may await him. I loved getting to watch him grow into a leader focused on making hard but necessary changes for the gargoyles.
Emma is an amazing character. I hope I can be like her when faced with adversity in my life. No matter what is thrown at her she takes it standing tall. She always thinks of others and is ready to do what's necessary for the greater good ❤
Although it wasn't the exact ending I would have wanted for Emma and Conor is was perfect for them. They are both in places where they can make a difference in how their races are perceived by others and how their races perceive others. I hope to see more of them in the next book in the Redemption series.
If you read the Redemption series do yourself a favor and read The Acropolis series and get to know more about Conor. Between Conor, Emma, the gargoyles, and the hybrids you won't be disappointed!
Deliverance (Acropolis Series book 3) by R. K. Ryals

5 Stars
I Loved this book.
After escaping the Labyrinth Conor is now imprisoned by the Gargoyles. He must fight and endure his imprisonment in order to honour his beliefs and his fathers legacy. Conor must fight to change the system and secure the future of his race and that of the hybrids.
After the events of the previous book in the series it was nice to see how each of the characters has grown, Emma has begun to come to terms with her parentage and her powers and is now able to use them to help others and Conor has proven his strength in what he believes in and what he is willing to do to succeed.
Conor’s struggle with killing his own in the previous books is obvious throughout this book and it really makes you feel for him. He is a very loyal character who did what he had to to protect those he believes are innocent.
The romance and connection between Emma and Conor was obvious in the first book of the series, but developed slowly in the second. This book saw them grow even closer and showed the extent to which they will go to protect each other. Their love and devotion to each other is obvious throughout.
The growing friendship between the hybrids is heartwarming and you find yourself hoping they succeed and secure their futures.
The storyline for this series is original and captivating and I could not put it down. The twists and turns in this series are exciting and I can’t wait to read the next instalment in the series.
There may not be a lot of romance-y parts in this book and well I always focus on them no matter what book it is that I read. Connor is a very passionate boy, "gripping the back of her head, I taste her. All of her. The good and the bad. Her strengths and her weaknesses. Most of all, I let her taste my soul." I was so freakin' excited I saw my man, and he was being a tad bit naughty, I love Luther so damn much, "Luther flies down next to me, his reddened eyes on Roach. "I like late entrances," Luther says, "And since I wasn't exactly invited to this little gargoyle rebellion, I don't feel like the rules apply to me." And then there was the romance, "my grip on her tightens, my hand finding her knee. I lift her leg, my palm sliding her dress up. It's moments like this I'm glad Emma is a tall woman. "I choose you," I breathe against her lips. "I choose you." I could have sworn this was the last book in this series, unless it isn't, but maybe different characters are going to be the main ones and the plot continues I'm not sure which but I'm eager to find out.
As the third book in the Acropolis series, I was so ready to see what happened with Connor, Will, Emma and the hybrids. This book picks up where The Labyrinth left off. Connor and Will are in danger of losing their lives all for fighting for the cause of the hybrids. I am ever impressed with the writing style of R.K. Ryals. All of these books flow so well together. You don't have to read the Redemption series to understand this series, but I would recommend you do, since the characters from that series show up here too. What will the Gargoyles decide to do with Connor, Will and Emma? Is there a way to make them change after centuries of thinking that all Demons are evil? The revelations in this book made my jaw drop a few times and I was so sad and then happy in other parts.
I have been waiting for the conclusion to Conor and Emma's story for what seems like years. What was delivered surpassed any expectations I had. Deliverance is a story of strength, survival, learning, and growth. I would add acceptance, but that takes time, and R.K. Ryals has shown her readers time and time again that though her stories may be set in fictional worlds, her characters are always real. Romances aren't instant, trust and respect are earned, and conflicts don't always end wrapped up with a pretty little bow. life is dirty, gritty, and beautiful all at once.
Will and Conner have been take into gargoyle custody fr their part in freeing the hybrids from acropolis and killing some of their kind. Emma discovers her parentage and Conner has to remain o trial, labeled a traitor. This book is really eye opening to many of the prejudices of the world. The older gargoyles raise the younger ones to hate all demons whether full or hybrids because of past experiences. That's how hatred is passed from generation to generation. All it takes is a few brave individuals to create awareness. I really enjoyed this book. I definitely recommend. Full video review on YouTube channel Adventures-IN-Print. https://youtu.be/r-eMG7UfdXI
Deliverance by RK Ryals is the 3rd book in the Acropolis series. It continues right from when Labrynth ended. This story was amazing!!! It was intense and emotional. I'm not normally a fan of alternating point of views but it worked really well in this book because it allowed the reader to clearly understand Connor's and Emma's emotional states. I love the characters in this series and reading this book felt like being with old friends. I love Connor and I loved seeing him mature into a strong powerful man in this book. This series is a must read!!
This is slightly better than the first two volumes in this series, perhaps because there is not so much traveling involved, and the romance, which was already evident after 50 pages of Vol1, finally speeds up.
On the other hand the problems the author has with storytelling still remain. In this case it is a fight to the death, with real big action where the characters suddenly stop and deliver speeches. Huh?
I was sad to finish this final book in the trilogy and say goodbye to Emma and Conor. It was a turbulent final story but I enjoyed the ending. As an aside, there should be a trigger warning on this book for those who have been sexually assaulted.
OMG! I love this book (well the whole Redemption series/characters). Conor is just amazing. I'm glad he and Monroe got their own books, makes waiting for Marcas and Dayton's story worthwhile. Can't get enough of R.K. Ryals's books.
Loved this trilogy by R.K. Ryals, the story consists of demons, gargoyles, and a love so strong that it overcomes difficulties. Love this author’s stories!
A fantastic conclusion to the Acropolis series - definitely my favourite book so far. The thing I loved most about this story was getting to see Connor and Emma's characters truly grow up and make sacrifices for each other and for the sake of bringing change. The book picked up where the last one left off - Connor has been taken by the Gargoyle council and is to be executed as a traitor. Emma and the other hybrids are working together to free him but naturally, not all goes according to plan. Emma and Connor face death together and stand poised to lose everything - including their new found love for each other - if they continue to stand up for what they both believe to be right. I won't give any more of the story away but I will say that the rest of it is truly excellent. I really loved the themes behind the book about letting go of prejudice and old hatreds for the sake of moving to a better and brighter future - it was moving how far Connor was willing to go to prove to his people that they needed change. I also really liked the way Emma understood everything and set aside any of her protests and supported him in everything because she loved him and believed in him. Overall - this is a fantastic end to a fantastic series which I would highly recommend reading. It would probably be best to read the first three books in the Redemption series before picking up the Acropolis series, but there is technically enough information in these books for the series to stand on its own.
I liked Connor better in this book and I finally found the romance between Connor & Emma believable. What i did find a little annoying was the repetitious internal ramblings of both Connor & Emma on love. And the fact that Dayton was continually referred to as Dayton Blainey. Eg Marcas and Dayton Blainey arrived. Dayton Blainey said blah blah, Dayton Blainey poured herself a coffee. Dayton Blainey glared at him etc. Introduce her by both names but then only use one. It was weird and annoying.
*sigh* I don't even know where to begin..... I ❤️ this whole spin off from the Redemption series. I hate seeing it end..... But knowing these characters & RK Ryals, I'm sure this is just another beginning!
I was a little disappointed with this one. Happy to see it end and there story for now to be finished but left me a little eh compared to her other series
