The first book was an excellent introduction to Vigil and his affect on the city of Neo York. This book dives further into the ways a vigilante can inspire a city, for better or worse. The development of Vigil trying to find a balance between protecting the city, and developing personal connections as Jett. However, Jett's past seems to reach through the ages to provide illumination and challenges. Things escalate as they are prone to do, and Neo York's dark side starts coming to light. A fun thrill ride from start to finish, with every chapter pushing the plot forward in impactful ways. Can't wait for the third one!
