A great read for book lovers

I picked this up because it sounded unique, and it didn't disappoint. What drew me in was the idea of the mysterious bookstore where the books seem to have a life of their own. I loved how the story blended the mystery with the family, making it more than just a regular novel. Evelyn's journey discovering her aunts secrets while dealing with her own kept me interested and wanting to know more. This was a great read.

the book repeated itself so often that it became tedious and dull. the scientific explanations were confusing. I finished the book with my head pounding from a headache. I did like the whole idea of books being alive, but I felt that the story needed more substance. another simple observation was the lack of page numbers, and this little omission just made me want to know why?
