I recieved Ethically Questionable #1 for an honest opinion this book is due for release on the 27th june.
This is a story about a man called Freddy who I have mixed feelings about, a woman named Kayla and a psychopath named Caleb. Freddie and Caleb are in charge of administering 'scientific' experiments to unwilling participants. Freddy also has some strong and complicated feelings towards Kayla.
I loved the story in this one as there are many examples of out and out evil assholes but then there's Freddy..... who obviously has a level of malice in him to be okay with his job but he definately isn't on the same level as Caleb, who delights in punishments and rape. I found myself sort of rooting for Freddy kept hoping he would get his shit together and be the saviour.
I definately give this one 5/5 the story was intreaguing, the characters were complex or evil. Theres something for everyone, the violence as per usual with a sea Caummisar book was brutal, disgusting and so very good! Love this one can't wait for number 2.

Absolutely fucked up and extremely depraved - Sea Caummisar never disappoints. I loved how brutal and violent this book is along with the unique storyline of the different experiments.

This story has all of the extreme sadism and genital mutilation you would expect from the dark mind of Sea Caummisar, but also a few surprises!

There isn't a clear resolution, but I'm hooked and hoping for a part 2 that will answer some of the questions this book leaves us asking. What will be the fate of the central characters? Who is behind it all? And can it be justified, ethically?

I was honored to be asked to read this as an Alpha book.

ABSOLUTELY EXCITING AND THRILLING!! Oh my gosh, to wonder if there are these actual disgusting, torture experiment places like this out there! Would it surprise us? I don’t know.

There is just enough suspense, gore, and violence to keep you on your toes. My mouth literally dropped open when I realized it was the end of the book. It came so sudden and definitely left me hungry for more!! Can’t wait to read part two. I need it now! lol

Sea Caummisar is one of the best extreme writers in the horror community. I’ve read many of her books, more than any other indie author because I absolutely LOVE her writing technique. She is always so detailed and it helps you feel like you are right there watching it all in real life. Her books ALWAYS keep me engaged until the very end. If you haven’t read Raised By A Killer-10 book series I highly suggest those as well as they are my favorite. However, I can definitely see this series as a favorite as well. Most her books have been 5 stars for me. Be aware she is extreme horror, and she is very good at digging deep into the twisted side of her imagination.

Ethically Questionable #1 by Sea Caummisar
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Damn!! This is INTENSE! It’s definitely extreme horror at its finest! This book has gore, body mutilation, kidnapping, torture, questionable medical/scientific experimentation and so much more!
🩺🩸🩺🩸

Freddie and Kayla meet online and after talking for a few months, Freddie invites Kayla over for dinner. What starts out as a nice evening, with sparks flying, turns into something else entirely.

This story is filled with lots of crazy and horrific scenes, but also a deepness that the author discusses at the end of the story. It’s super thought provoking and made me re-think so much of what I had read. How do you judge the levels of evilness someone possesses?
The writing in this book is excellent and there’s a lot of story packed into this novella.

Thank you to Sea Caummisar for an arc of this brutally awesome and unique book. It’s a short and fast read and I absolutely could not put it down!

I have no clue how this is my first read from this author, but almost all of her books are on my tbr list now!

*This book comes out June 27th, and I definitely recommend it if you check the triggers first!*

I can’t wait for book 2!!

Totally Sea

Gruesome as you would expect from the author. A tale of captives abused to varying degrees in the name of medical research. The ending was left open for an inevitable sequel, and left many questions unanswered. If you have read anything by Sea before, you will have a good understanding of what to expect from a very dark mind that peers into the extreme side of human nature.

Honored to receive an ARC for this.

I really liked the concept behind the experiments and households, as well as how Freddy was a “good guy” but only in comparison to the rest of the characters we meet.

Ending was a bit abrupt but only because there’s no part 2 available yet.

I found this so far to be one of the more interesting SC series and rank it up there with found bag of doom.

Ethically Questionable? Sea Caummisar? This story is not for the squeamish. We all know Sea Caummisar has a dark mind. This story is titillating hehehe....Freddy invites Kayla to his home to enjoy a delicious meal. Things get hairy, Kayla has to determine how she's going to make it out of this alive. Experiments for the betterment of science, pffff. Will Freddy save her?

Exactly what I would expect from the dark mind of Sea Caummisar. I nearly didn't read it because of the vague book description but I'm glad I went ahead and gave it a chance. It requires the vague description to go on the strange experience that is this book. What a wild tale. I can't wait for the next in the series!

i can’t even pretend to like this. i LOVE gore and shock value and all things messed up, but this was so bad it was embarrassing to read. it was messy, all over the place, dreadful and boring dialogue. the story had so much potential but just never went anywhere? overall just NOT IT.
gurl do you need a proofreader or spell checker because this was inexcusable for such an acclaimed SP author.

Holy ouch.

This was one of the best books I've read from this author. Sea, you've outdone yourself. I had to look away a few times. My body was clenching, so hard, I feel weak. As a woman myself, OUCH. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Brutal! Ethically Questionable is about Freddy, a man that works on secret scientific experiments. He invites Kayla over to his house for a dinner date. When he serves her spaghetti with something strange in it, the date goes downhill. Kayla is now an involuntary participant of these experiments. His coworker Caleb is ruthless and enjoys torturing the “assets” when they don’t willingly participate with the experiments.

What a delightfully fucked up story! Once I started reading, I could not put it down! Just enough gore and depravity to keep the story going. I’m bummed with how the book ended, but I can’t wait for part 2! I’m rooting for Kayla!

Thank you to Sea Caummisar for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
