Hi, I’m Angelica Lopez, author of The Handler, a psychological thriller about memory, survival, and buried secrets. I’ve always loved stories that keep you guessing until the very last page—dark twists, broken trust, and complex characters are my sweet spot.

While I gravitate toward thrillers and suspense, I’m a pretty versatile reader—I enjoy everything from creepy horror to magical adventures, emotional memoirs, and even the occasional spicy fantasy romance. If it has a strong hook and keeps me turning pages, I’m in.

That same versatility shows up in my writing, too. While The Handler is my debut psychological thriller, I also love crafting stories in romance and young adult fiction. No matter the genre, I’m drawn to high-stakes emotion, complex characters, and unexpected turns.

Let’s connect! If you enjoy twisty suspense, emotional tension, or just a good story with heart, I hope you’ll check out The Handler—and follow along for whatever’s coming next.

I received a copy for review purposes. All opinions are honest and mine alone.

Angelica Lopez debuts with THE HANDLER - a domestic abuse, psychological thriller. FMC, Lynessa, is married to Jason, an explosive, abusive man. He’s always sorry after the fact…

This time, Lynessa wakes up in the hospital and has no memory. She doesn’t recognize her parents, her sister or Jason. There is a doctor who seems a little familiar, but…

Who is this intense guy that’s hanging around, spying, threatening? The police are useless, the doctor is charming, her sister is confusing…

At times, the story is engaging and intense but then it flounders with poor grammar, becoming frustrating. Ms. Lopez is a teacher who needs an editor and education in grammar📚

Definately a good read. Thanks for the opportunity GR, Author and Publisher. A bad marriage, a wreck, and loss of memory. Your in the hospital, you don't recognize your family. Then your husband shows up, you remember him and everything you fear comes back. Just about him and your relationship. The rest is still a mystery. Your intuned enough to fear him and what he is capable of. Things gradually come back to you in dreams and who else you can not trust and that person is close to you.
