I've been on a bit of an omegaverse kick for the past couple weeks so when this popped up in my FB feed I was immediately intrigued. I liked the adversarial set-up and that the unconventional omega was a thief, though I went in expecting a Robin Hood type situation (don't ask me why) and that's not at all what this is.
I'm a sucker for an alpha who's just a goner for his omega and while Trystan was a little prickly, he melted for his alpha. These two had chemistry for days, both in and out of bed.
This was a fairly quick read, with an engaging plot (I love a little light intrigue) and great cast of secondary characters. While it would have benefited from a little more character depth and development but I enjoyed the story very much and will happily check out the author's backlist.

This! This story right here is the perfect example of why I love OV with scent matches/fated mates. I don't care if people complain about the insta-love, insta-lust or whatever else people complain about these days with romance. Katherine did such a fantastic job with this MM OV novella, and I think that I'll be buying a paperback for my trophy shelf. The chemistry between the two just melted my heart, and I loved the "opposites attract" trope. Emerson is the big bad daddy alpha that I adore, and his immediate claiming of Trystan made him all the more lovable. AND the sweet fiesty tortured soul that is Trystan is just adorable. I love his bratty side, and he deserves all the good things. I can't wait to read what this author writes next. <3

Therefore was a cute and exciting MM omegaverse romance with great pacing and just the right amount of heat. Trystan’s quick wit and Emerson’s intense alpha energy made for an addictive cat-and-mouse dynamic that kept me engaged throughout.
Their chemistry was undeniable, and I loved how their banter evolved into something deeper without slowing the story down. The job’s ticking clock added tension, and the world-building felt fresh yet familiar for omegaverse fans.

Our lips met in a hungry clash of teeth and tongue as our scents curled around each other. Vetiver and patchouli. An earthy mix of smoke and spice.
I adored this story it was fast paced, spicy and entertaining in all the best ways. Got to love alternating povs, the chemistry between Trystan & Emerson is stunning. Their first meeting, the push/pull and instant connection despite their situation.
The plot was interesting too, I enjoyed seeing Trystan sneak around and his attempts to get past Emerson. His slow realisation of whats happening due to his holding back of his omega side, I loved that he didn't just submit or fall into what was expected.
Of course the heat is off the charts, plenty of spice along the way but I loved that Trystan fights against it. Wants to do his own thing to start and the conflict as their perspectives don't align.
It's just so much fun to see the back and forth from Trystan & Emerson, as they each have their talents. The action moments were great too, the revelations of the crime and final pieces coming together. It was great to see them work as a pair in the end and how can move forward.
Oh and I loved a bunch of the side cast too, the various work crew with Emerson and Trystans's roommate was lovely. The realisation they can make use of their skills in a better way, able to work alongside each other was perfect.
Anyway this was a great read and had me hooked from start to finish, with a happy ending for Trystan & Emerson ✨

A little thieving, a scent match, and some spice. This is such a great novella! Trystan's been given a job, steal something from a legal prosecutor. The only problem, he gets caught - and the prosecutor, Emerson, is his scent match. What's a guy to do? If at first you don't succeed.....but Emerson knows what he wants, and it's to keep Trystan. Someone is working in the shadows though to steal that item. And when Trystan has to decide to either betray his alpha or keep himself safe, the choice isn't always easy. The book is action packed, and has some plot twists. Definitely recommend.

Therefore is an incredible mm Omegaverse. What would you do if you walk into the middle of not only a crime scene but your home, that is exactly what happened to Emerson. Emerson is lawyer who catch not just an omega but his scent match. Trystan does anything to survive by omega. But he did expect his biggest problem would be an alpha and his scent match from his last job. Their chemistry is amazing and the ride they carry us on is a quick and satisfying read. This is one book you will read completely in one sitting.

This one will go down as one of my favorite MM omegaverses. Trystan and Emerson were so fun to get to know. Their story was perfect. What may have started off rocky (theft & handcuffs-or maybe not), turned into a wonderful story about an Alpha who falls head over heels for his omega and will do whatever it takes to claim him and keep him happy. If you’re looking for spice, omegas, alphas and a fun quick read don’t pass this one up!!

In just 151 pages, KI manage to write a story that is both filled with action and a lot of love.
Both Trystan and Emerson are wholesome, flawed characters, wo compliment each other so well.
I read this in one setting (I know, it's a short read). And while this feels both like a breeze (it's a page turner for sure) and like it was much longer, it is simply just right!
This is very well done and absolutely worth your time.

An Alpha Lawyer And An Omega Thief
This was a shorter Omegaverse book but it was so good. This was a different take on Omegaverse. Trystan was an omega who was a thief and one of his jobs was to steal something from Emerson, who turns out to be his scent match Alpha. Even though this was a shorter story, it packed a punch and had a great plot. The characters were fleshed out well and I loved their chemistry. A very good read and I highly recommend.

This was an absolutely delicious read! I love how Emerson automatically goes into alpha mode for his little thief! There was so much steam, I almost combusted. It was so deliciously done! I also loved Bee and Norah! Great secondary characters that had me laughing. Trystan had me feeling for him the entire book, and I was so happy when he finally gave in and accepted that he had an alpha. Amazing plot twist that kept the suspense going! Such a great read, I loved this whole book.

This is a standalone MM Omegaverse, and quickly headed straight to my don't read at work list.
Emerson and Trystan's chemistry is off the charts, right from the moment they meet. They are as opposite as you can imagine, and work really well together.
The plot ties up nicely and although this is a stand alone book, there's some of the side characters I'd love to see more of.
Overall, fun and steamy read.

Emerson and Trystan were a pretty cute couple. I kinda loved watching Emerson - it was cute seeing him be both a cocky alpha and a little insecure in places. I also loved Trystan's fight and his dilemma. I think a lot of OV books push a very stereotypical omega and Trystan didn't really fit that bill. The plot was actually my favorite part. Finally putting the pieces together was fun and I liked the way the story unfolded.

Trystan and Emerson We’re such great and fun characters. Their cat and mouse relationship had me wanting more and more. I do wish this had been longer since I wanted to spend even more time with these characters. It’s got the scent match trope which I enjoyed a lot. I didn’t want to stop reading about these ones and enjoyed this world a lot. Get ready for a great quick hot read. Definitely well worth the time and so much fun.

Therefore has been one of my favourite reads so far this year. I loved the banter between Trystan and Emerson and their whole dynamic was just fun and lovely to read.
I’m not the biggest fan of OV but I do love Katherine’s world writing and how she develops characters. This was a novella so it was fast paced but it didn’t lose anything with being on the shorter side. There was still plenty of heat, drama and spice!
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a hot little read.

It started out promising enough, but we zipped through the first half of the book without a whole lot actually happening.
The plot with the diary was very predictable, and the conclusion very rushed.

I probably wouldn’t bother with this author again, just overall meh. It is my second attempt at the author, though I don’t even recollect a single detail about the first try.
The plot with the diary was very predictable, and the conclusion very rushed.

This book is spiccccy. The relationship between Emerson and Trystan starts with a bit of dubcon but soon blossoms into a lovely alpha/omega pairing. I love the characters and the fast pace are wonderful though I have to say my favorite character, bar none, is the non-binary Bee. They're spectacular. Can't wait to read more by this author!

First time reading something my this author and I really liked it. MM omegaverse. Alpha is a lawyer and the omega is a thief for hire. The lawyer has something that somebody wants and that somebody asks the omega to steak it for them. Interesting dynamic and original story. Short enough to read in a day and the plot was a nice twist.

Omegaverse MM and while I usually don't care much for MM this was a nice one with the omega being a thief and the alpha a prosecutor. Imagine his surprise the thief being his scent match. Really enjoyed reading this and how the two come together. There's twists and turns I loved and keeping you on the edge of your seat.
