This book ramps up this series to Epic status. Teresa’s mind is just genius at its best.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
I enjoy all the VC Warriors and now the Dark Guardians King snuck in and grabbed my heart form that first ballet scene. I love how he says what he wants when it needs to be said. He makes his own mind up on things doesn’t let others sway him. Amara, Joey’s Aunt, I absolutely love her. She is tossed in this world but she holds on to her spunk and sass. She knows how to hold her own and stands up for herself and others.
There is so much going on in this book and everyone is involved which I was not disappointed in. I love seeing all the characters.
Amara is something special not only to King but to all the vampires. Amara has a rare blood type but when evil finds her and turns her to a half breed it makes her blood even more special “Golden Blood” as they call it. Now all evil is after her to use her as a weapon. King runs into her after a wellness check is called for Joey who has not been heard from in a few days. Can I say Amara gave King a run for his money when they first meet. Amara was used to doing things on her own protecting her brother and nephew. With King. all the Warriors, the Guardians, and all the mates around she slowly realizes she is not alone and what a big family is like.
King is determined to protect Amara and Joey because they are his now a part of his family. He will not let anyone harm them and if they do all hell with break loose. And boy oh boy does all hell break loose when Amara is taken. We find out how special her blood is and what it can do when King goes down and she is gone.
Daniel plays a big part in this book. To be able to watch this man go from an infant, to a boy to the man he is today is an amazing sight to see. It is hard for the Warriors to see him as the man he truly is and not the boy they helped raise. I absolutely loved when Daniel had to do a little butt chewing. Then we have Steve well Steve is Steve and there is never a dull moment when he is present. Gotta love Steve and TikTok. Then we have Joey. I love Joey he is full of life and I love his personality. No matter how much he feels is resting on his shoulders he stays strong but I love that King knows how to get him though everything.
King is a true warrior through and through he can fight and doesn’t take crap from no one but his tender side the way he treats Amara and knows what Amara and Joey need is absolutely heartwarming. He knows exactly what to say to them to help them move forward.
This book had so much in it learning about King, Amara and Joey but also finding things out about Danial and what is happening in the underworld. Oh yes we even took a trip to the demon realm. I am excited for Kane’s book and I have a feeling his ‘Mate’ is going to be a good one if it is who I’m thinking and I have to say I am intrigued by her.

“Never doubt for a second that I don’t want you, Amara,” he whispered, his hot breath grazing her skin. “Because when the time is right, I will have you... all of you.”

Another amazing addition to the Protectors Series by Teresa Gabelman. This book is definitely one of my favourites of the series so far, and that’s saying something since this series is amazing. This is King and Amara’s who’s Joey, one of Jessie’s ballet students and was first introduced during Jake and Jessie’s story and formed a bond with not only Jake but King as well book. I was hooked from page one. I adored Amara and I loved seeing Joey’s amazing personality shine through the pages. It was heartbreaking what happened to Joey and his dad but King and the rest of the Warriors and Guardians brought Joey and Amara into the fold.
Both Amara and Joey have an extremely rare blood type, RH Null blood aka Golden Blood. When Amara was taken and turned into a half breed she contacted her brother Lee and they agreed for her to stay away since she may be a danger to him and Joey while she gets her blood lust under control but she’s not like any half breed, since she’s never craved or needed blood but she also heals a lot slower. Jessie is worried since Joey hasn’t turned up to a few important dance practices and she can’t get ahold of either him or his father Lee. Jake and King head to their house to investigate and this is where King literally gets smacked in the head by Amara.
I thought that they were great together and their chemistry was off the charts. Amara’s blood seems to be even rarer than they originally thought which means that she’s in even more danger but with King at her side and the Warrior and Guardians at their backs, they’ll stop at nothing to protect her and Joey. I’m really interested in reading the next book. I’d happily read as many books from this series, as well as the Lee County Wolves that Teresa decides to write. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

Where do I start??? Lord have mercy... Teresa Gabelman has done it, yet again. When she writes, her stories take you to another place. You feel like you're one of the another character in the story. All her characters have different personalities and they stay that way through out the series. This series is one that I can read atleast every two-three months.
King, The Warrior, known as the, 'I don't take no crap
badass', not sure if he wants a mate, actually loves ballet
and has no problem letting others know, meets Amara,the aunt to Joey- a ballet dancer that King has become his protector
Amara, has Golden Blood, has been on the run since waking up one day after being kidnapped, feeling different, has discovered that her blood can cure a vampire that has been infected with silver, and more. Is being hunted by evil wanting use her blood for the disgusting creatures in another realm.
King, being the Warrior that he is, has self appointed himself to be Amara's protector (and also promising her nephew that he would protector) has fallen hard for her.
King, along with The Warrors, Dark Guardians and Daniel (you have to read from the beginning to see what and who Daniel is), go to the other realm to rescue Amara. The evil they face along the way try to stop them.
Is King and his fellow breathern able to get to Amara before her blood is used for evil? Does their relationship go to the next level?
I highly recommend this series. And start from the beginning, Damon, this way you know about all the characters and their 'purpose'
The series has vampire warriors, dark guardians, warlocks, witches, Daniel (not going to give away who he is), a bartender who spits in a cup for creatures to drink (gaged at this, the visual from her writing was spot on), and so many more disgusting creatures.

WOW- WOW-WOW!
What an Amazing book, such a long read as well I loved it, we really got spoilt with this one?
I never like to reveal too much about the story because I want the reader to enjoy where the book takes them but what I will say is, this is one of my favourites in the series (and there are a lot of books in this series)
I was totally hooked from the beginning the story flowed like a dream, King & Amara were meant for each other & all through the story you just got more & more involved with them & let’s not forget Joey, that kid is Hilarious & sweet & has little bit of my heart, he’s going to be one hell of a heartbreaker when he’s older!
Oh Steve! …. what can I say about this warrior / Tik Toker / joker of the pack he is absolutely hilarious but will also have your back in a heartbeat…I really need a Steve in my life ha ha
The whole gang were is this book even their Mates made an appearance & it was so so good I didn’t want it to end, even though the book was longer than the others in this series I still didn’t want it to end… & Daniel my god I cannot wait for his story I love that dude, he has been though a lot & has his crosses to bear but he’s a fighter & I’m sure every single warrior - Guardian- Mate will have his back & by god he is going to need it with the fight he has coming, I cannot wait for Daniel’s book.

A little hard to explain. It took me a little while to get into it. I liked this story. Steamy. Action. We get to see everyone and some mates. A badass Warrior and stunning white haired woman.
King is a Warrior and a protector. He’s not afraid to admit he loves ballet. One of the Warrior’s mates teaches ballet. A boy Joey has earned the protection of the Warriors. He dances at the ballet studio and has been acting strange and no one knows where he is. King and the other Warriors start looking for him. They go to his house where it has been ransacked. While there someone else is checking the house and hits King in the head. They take off running but King catches up and realizes it’s a woman. When they question her, they find out she is Amara, Joey’s aunt. Amara has been hiding since she was turned into a half breed but she isn’t like a half breed. When Joey is found, he is in bad shape and has a rare blood type. Amara has the exact same type and gives him blood. They are calling it Golden Blood. Joey heals quicker. So some nasty beings will be waiting Amara. When she’s taken they must travel to a Realm of Hell and get her back.

I absolutely love this series!! I have been a fan since she released book 3 so I have been here for the long haul.
King has been a fun character to get to know through the series. I always wondered who his mate would be, and Amara is the perfect person especially since she is Joey’s aunt aka King’s friend.
This series we get a lot more Realm information and maybe see a possible new fear for Daniel and also maybe a MATE??? I kinda wanna know more about her. But back to King…..King and Amara have amazing chemistry and the fact that Joey is down with his aunt and his friend is even better.
We learn about Golden Blood and how not good this is but could be good but right now it is not good. LOL There is always a new story line or plot that Teresa gives to us to keep the series fresh. I mean 28 book in a series is a lot but trust me when I say it is an amazing series to jump into. Well I was waiting for King, and he didn't let me down.
This series and these Warriors always deliver, I know I'm in for a gripping read whenever a new book in the series comes out. It's a must read for me, I can never get enough.
King and Amara's story had it all, danger, action, lots of witty banter and plenty of steam. Loved them together.
All the characters in this series are fantastic, I love the connection between them all, each book just cements how strong they are as one big family. These VC Warriors, Dark Guardians along with their mates will take on any threat together no matter what.
I'm really looking forward to Kane as he needs his mate, but whenever Daniel finally gets his own book, I might actually cry, I'm terrified, but desperate, I absolutely love him.

King !!!!
I have waited since July of 2024 for King's story and it did not disappoint, this series is awesome from book 1 Damon to King truly awesome. I could go on and on about what you already know how you will be held captive from beginning to the very end and still wanting more, so here's what I'm going to say all you paranormal and shifter lovers like me you will not be disappointed with one written word of King's story so don't pass this up. Now please author don't make us wait to long for Kane's story and please don't break our heart with what's going on with the Big Man love of his life Becky, so many teases 😇, so again another awesome read in this Awesome Series !!!!

This is absolutely the best book in The Protectors Series…so far. I honestly don’t know how Teresa Gabelman does it, how does she keep a series as long as The Protectors Series fresh and unique, yet she does it time and time again. King and Amara will take you on a roller coaster ride with many twists and turns and at the end you’ll be begging for more. Amara’s blood is the key…it can save lives…but it can also destroy someone the VC Warriors and the Guardians protect…Daniel. She is also the mate of King’s heart and he would go to the deep Realms of Hell to protect her. King is by far a must read, five + star book.

I really love when I get to visit the world of the Protectors. Teresa must have some magical power, because how else can she have written 28 books in a series and each one is different unique. King and Amara story is no expectation so buckle up and enjoy the roller coaster ride you are going to take. They are a few twists and turns that my jaw dropped a time or two. I can't wait for Kane's books, and revisit my happy place again.

King, hot, sexy, protective VC Warrior. Amara sexy badass female trying to protect her family. King and Amara are a match made in Heaven. They are perfect for each other. Love at first sight, but there are problems on the horizon for the couple. You get to read about all the other warriors too. Sloan and Becky, Daniel, of or course funny Steve is mixed in. This book is a must read, must grab, I love seeing badass king as a daddy figure to Joey and a hot mate to Amara.i want to say this is one of my favorites of the Protectors, but I love them all.

There is a special bond between nephew and aunt. The warriors learn about Call of Duty. Very funny scene. Bad things are happening. Daniel finally lays it all out on the table. Great fights. Steve. What can I say?? He makes us all laugh. We!!, except Sloan. What is Becky hiding? I think I know.... Cant wait for Kane.

Excellent book
I tried to read this book slow so I could make it last. But as usual I get excited and can’t read Teresa books slow. Teresa Gabelman is such a good author, I can’t get enough of her books. I get lost in the world she has created. Excellent author. In a class of her own. I highly recommend all her books. Her books are always full of action and romance. Took me to Hell and back! Fantastic!
Oh my goodness! So many emotions! So far Best Book of the Year! I couldn't put it down! I feel gutted! And yet, I laughed out loud many times in this book. I read snippets to my husband and he laughed also. I almost peed my pants with fright. This story will take you to hell and back! I think I am a little in love with King. Amara is perfect for him. Team Effort
This book keeps you on the edge of your seat. The action was constant. The realm was scary and the descriptions were cringe worthy. This book was another great addition to the Protectors Series. King didn't disappoint as he was a serious contender for the best of what an attentive and protective Mate should be. Joey almost stole this one from all of them. It was all hands on deck. Great job with this one too TG!!!

New discovery and threat pulls a loyal warrior to aid a friend he discovers a deeper sinister plot to bring hell to earthly realm and a lone photographer is the key. Lots of relationship dynamics that you can gobble up. You get the standard laughs from the VC warriors and the kick ass attitude through out. This one begins the next challenge for the VC warriors and the dark guardians. Enjoy!

Loved it, but..
I am not a fan of the author inserting and dragging out issues with the past couples in the new stories. It kind of sours everything and makes it all less satisfying and enjoyable. It more or less ruins the endings of their past books that I previously loved. Especially when it goes unresolved and is essentially a cliffhanger. Just let each story stand on its own, please.

Omg Teresa Gableman you have written one of the best vampire books I have read in a long while. I absolutely love King. He is my favourite warrior. You hit it out of the park with this book. Teresa Gabelman never fails to grab you up and keep wrapped up tight in the lives of these wonderful men, women and their Mates! King and Amara’s story was fantastic. I can’t wait to see what comes next. Kane’s adventure I know will not fail to pull us in on his journey. You cannot go wrong with these books. They are fantastic.

A really great read, excellent in fact.
I enjoyed reading about King and Amara's story.
It started with Joey's attack and fight for life and was full on from there.
You really need to read this story.
My only complaint is it finished way to soon.
Now I have to find something else to read and I know finding a book as good as this one may be hard to find.

Loved it
Another great story from Teresa Gabelman, I have loved the characters and storylines from the beginning of the series. I loved the plot and can't wait to see what happens in future books. This is definitely a must read, the protectors is a great addition to any collection.

Another fantastic story! I really like the fact that Amara is different and is such an important part now of the warriors \ Guardians. And loved the fact that Daniel was in more of this story. I'm thinking that him and Sybol have something I guess we will see. Can't wait for Lanes story next.

Sooo goood
This was really interesting, the Rh-null blood type was mentioned and bringing more into the storyline. It got me thinking about the Golden Blood and it's true origins,
Teresa does amazing things with this world building and the fun humor that Steve always comes out with, makes me laugh.
