Here we uncover more secrets, learn more about the blades and their magic/power, and discover so much more about our beloved characters!
Book 4 brings us back to the POV's of our main characters, Olivia and Roman as they've recently discovered not all is as it seems..... and continue their battle alongside their friends and family in their quest to find the moon dagger which needs to be reunited with the sun dagger to defeat the darkness that is standing against them time and time again...
But with darkness closing in, will they be able to achieve this massive quest and be able to overcome the evil threatening all they hold dear?
There is so much more to come within this series and I'm eager for more!!

There is a lot of plot development in this case, and some important new characters are introduced (plus a giant secret 👀). This story always keeps me on my toes, and I know the next book will have even more reveals!

Everyone is in search of the moon dagger to reunite the Blade of Shadows but Olivia has a calling to the caves to continue her search, one she cannot ignore.
Once the blades are secured, there is another step in order to properly reunite the blades to become the Blade of Shadows. On yet another time travel journey, leaving everything they knew behind, Olivia and Roman along with a couple of their companions are set out on another quest to uncover more secrets on the blades, the history and true meaning of the Blade of Shadows and endure deadly trials to prove themselves worthy of the knowledge they seek.

💋Final Thoughts: I have been dying for this book in the series after reading the villains story as the last book (3.5). Sara has truly outdone herself with this one and it is now my favorite in the series! Sara is known for her twists and turns in this series but this one had me so captivated, at times I felt like I was there, listening to the stories told by others as Olivia and Roman gain more knowledge of their world and the Blade of Shadows. Truly incredible and I cannot wait for the next story coming later this year!

How are we already on book four in the series? This was one of my favorite in the series so far besides book one (I have a thing for first books). This book is nonstop action, plot twists, memories, battles… strap in, people!
Without giving too much away, you will fall even more in love with Olivia and Roman and their growing family. Also, shoutout to Roman for worshipping this woman’s post-pregnancy body AS HE SHOULD. You will learn more about them and our known and lesser-known side characters and definitely fill in some gaps!
Low-key, F$@K some of the characters in this book. That is all.

So Olivia and Roman are back and so many questions are answered so many things are revealed. I often mentally think back to this series and find myself living out the story over and over and I’m so happy to finally have answers that I have been trying to puzzle out! I love this series so much Sara puts so much care and gifts us with so many Easter eggs that hint out outcomes & leave you with such an enjoyable book to escape reality in. This series is not outlander the only things it has in common is the essence of time travel and the fact that the main characters stay together. Other than that it is its own storyline and an amazing one at that. The romance, the time travel, the constant twists and turns this book/ series is so good at leaving you wanting more while feeling completely immersed in the current time you are visiting. I cannot wait for the next installment to this series!

WOW, don’t have other words right now! Honestly this has to be my favorite book in this whole series so far! It picks up where book 3 left off, and still has you asking more questions such as how will this character betray Roman, or Olivia now? This book definitely goes more into the daggers, and their powers. Also brings more secrets to light, and of course In Sara like fashion, this book will be sure to keep you on your toes, and if you think you’ve figured it all out, you didn’t because the twists just keep coming! I’m not sure which characters I can trust in this series anymore lol but I just can’t stop, and need more!

Another epic instalment in the blade of shadows series. This book was all go from the very first page. For every secret that is unveiled, we discover more mystery that has to be uncovered.
These characters are definitely put through the ringer in this book. The trials and tribulations that they endure are no joke, and I found myself being suspicious of EVERYONE!! Even characters we have met before were getting some suspicious side eye from me 🤣
This series has me utterly hooked. i am so invested in the characters and their lives, and I can't wait to see where Sara takes us next! Even though I am sure it will be a frustratingly twisty journey that will leave me reeling until the very end!

Wow—I'm blown away! 🙌 I’ve been hooked on this series from the start, but the twists and turns in this new release were next-level! I seriously couldn’t put it down. The plot keeps getting more intense, and just when I thought I had everything figured out, Sara Samuels threw in some jaw-dropping surprises that I didn’t see coming. 🤯

Olivia and Roman are back, continuing their journey in search of the daggers. After reading all the books, I knew I had to read this one and damn, this book comes with a bang. So many twists and so many turns. A web of lies and betrayals throws a heavy weight on them. The daggers found but ending up with enemies make things difficult. All these twists were so interesting to read.
I love the writing style of Sara, and like all her other books, I just loved it.
The legacy and the truths come to light by the end, and it's so exciting. I can't wait for the next book.
I highly recommend this book to all Fantasy and Time Travel lovers.

This book is dense! Absolutely packed full of.. everything! There is so much happening, so much of the character’s history being revealed. Without ruining any surprises (and there are many) I will say it is another example of Sara’s beautiful writing. The tiny details she sneaks in, foreshadowing and dropping Easter eggs like TS herself. The emotions ran the gauntlet. I lost track of how many times I caught myself crying along with the story. Happy, sad, tender moments, anger and frustration, it is all in there. I am so ready for the next in the series. Next, we get to dive more into Roman’s history!

The initial jaw dropping bomb and all the twists and turns left me questioning what the heck all over again (in the best way). This book answered so many questions just to leave us with even more. I love how the story is just puzzle pieces clicking in place but there's still some missing. Sara gave us all the emotions and this book and i'm already dying for the final book. Thank you Sara for sending me an ARC and I cannot wait for the rest of the story!!!

Loved the first three books, which introduces you to Olivia who is a timebourne and can travel throughout time, and Roman, her love and also a timbourne. Book 4 picks up where book 3 left off. Olivia and Roman are together and in search of the moon dagger. Evil lurks around them and they need to figure out who they can trust. Lots of twists in this book and it doesn't disappoint. Another well written story that keeps you enveloped. The story is well written and I couldn’t put it down.

If you want a series that will keep you on the edge of you seat, look no further! Betrayal after betrayal. Im almost at a lose for words. The way these books are coming together and the characters are clicking into place is insane. Just when I think I've figured everything out, everything changes!

This book was insane. First way to describe it. The way that every single plot point flows perfectly into each and every book is something so satisfying to see, and also so shocking.
I’ve discovered that I love every single one of Sara Samuels characters, even the bad characters because with her writing I despise them. Hope that makes sense.
The way that I SOBBED at the end of this book too. The ending was cruel. It was so so cruel.

Best one yet, wow! "Blade of Shadows" is one of my all-time favorite series, and "Timehunters" is my favorite so far. Sara Samuel's just keeps topping herself with her detailed and unique writing, on-the-edge-of-your-seat and binge-worthy storyline, and AMAZING and complex characters. So much comes to light in this book... so many mysteries answered... so many unexpected twists. Again, wow!

This book is very entertaining and so very well written and so many secrets are revealed!
The characters are believable and also very well written. I feel like I know them and I'm right there with them on the every page.

Okay, okay, let me get my thought together because when I tell you this is my favorite series, so far is an understatement. This book has had me not only on the edge of my seat but with my heart in my throat. Every chapter had a twist. Every page had another secret or lie to reveal. When I tell I have 42 highlights on my Kindle, this has been the first arc where I wanted to make sure to highlight all the things that came up so I don't forget it. This brings me to my next point, I will reread this series now more than ever. I am so glad this series exists. I can't recommend enough. You need to read, and when this one comes out at the end of this month done hesitate to buy. You won't regret it.

The whiplash I got from this book, with the revelations in loyalty, family and friendship were non stop - even to the very end. The continued character development and the redemption arcs we see *chefs kiss*

Just WOW!! Timehunters begins to put together the questions that are presented in Timeborne (book 1) and Darkness of Time (book 2) and picks up exactly where Timebound (book 3) ends and takes off like a rocket. But don't skip Wicked Lovers of Time (book 3.5) because it explains why the characters are the way they are.
But back to Timehunters. This book has it all. Intrigue of how some characters escaped death. The power players that think they are in control are being guided. The FMC and MMC characters finally begin to understand their destiny. And characters that you thought did not have much to do in the overall story are larger than you originally thought.
I wish I could say more, but I do not want to give anything away. It is THAT GOOD!!! There is so much that happens. So many questions answered. So many more questions. If you are looking for your next fantasy series that is just as gripping but nothing like ACOTAR or Fourth Wing, THIS IS IT!!!!
But back to Timehunters. This book has it all. Intrigue of how some characters escaped death. The power players that think they are in control are being guided. Some people may think that as a series goes on, the storyline can lose its power. Storylines can stale, characters can stop growing, and authors can become repetitive. This is not the case for Sara and book four in her Blade of Shadows series. The storyline is still holding me on the edge of my seat, the characters grow each book, and the twists and turns keep coming. This story continues to build on the previous books, but remains fresh and intriguing.
The stakes are high in this book as Olivia and Roman as their journey continues. With the Moon Dagger being on the forefront of everyone’s mind, Olivia can’t let go of the feeling she is needed elsewhere. Bringing back characters that readers both love and strongly dislike, while introducing us to new ones, the character development continues to rival the most experienced writers.
As each new plot twist takes place, I am in awe of the story brewing inside Sara’s mind. Seeing how the story started, where it has arrived, and the future it holds; I can’t wait for more of this story. High fantasy, but different than any other book out there, Sara has become a favorite author of mine.
