I enjoyed learning more about the strategies Satan uses to deceive us, confuse us, and pull us away from the light of Christ. I also gained great insight listening to the bonus commentary between Ella & Jackson Paul and Jeff. So many great quotes from the scriptures and church leaders that help realign us with the truth found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Also, what to be hyperaware of in the world today to combat Satan’s tactics and stand firm in the faith of our Lord and Savior.

Great book, I love the rules the author explains! It’s a very easy read that is clear on points of doctrine. I think for a youth this book would be great. I’m looking forward to seeing more gospel books from Jeff!

My only complaint is some clearly gen z phrases used in the book are already outdated as gen alpha jargon has replaced them. I’d have preferred the book to be written in language that won’t become cheugy in 1-2 years 🤷🏻‍♂️ Keep in mind, very little of the book is written like this - so don’t let that dissuade you from reading.

Jeff's book is written in an accessible manner, suitable for a broad readership, and works to illustrate how the adversaries of Christ depicted in the Book of Mormon (Nehor, Korihor, and Sherem) serve as archetypes or paradigms for contemporary challengers to the messages of truth contained in the Restoration.

It highlights how modern enemies of truth assail the doctrines of the Restoration and all elements affiliated with Christ. I would commend this work to individuals of missionary age and older. Such attacks constitute an inevitable facet of membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since these attacks are not going away any time soon, having this kind of discussion is worthwhile in preparing for a life where much of our discourse takes place online.

Very easy read and good basic principles that can help all christians in every day challenges. You don’t have to be LDS to benefit from reading this book. I look forward to reading more from Jeff Borders in the future.
