A stunning pop-up story. It was a bit wordy for Tot, so we mostly just discussed the scenes behind each window.

Jingle, the puppy, is lost and is trying to find his way back home on a cold, snowy night. His journey is recited in poems, modeled after "The Night Before Christmas". The illustrations are bright, glittery, and 3D-ish as they pop up.

I recommend this book for younger children, but probably toddlers and up. Infants might rip the pages.

It was a little to long for my daughter's 2 1/2 year old attention span.
I thought the story was extremely cute and I loved the pop out pages.
My daughter even knocked on the last page's door.
I'm glad I checked this book out at library for our story time.
