An authors summary of Infinite Love and a reflection on The Austin Series.
As the concluding part in The Austin Series, I wanted to show how much personal growth has been made by these characters since the first book. While still young, they have all grown up considerably. However it would be boring if this were simply a book that was smooth sailing all the way up to a HEA, so I have tried write in as much drama and angst as I can, which often had me in tears as I was writing it. I had to leave sections, go away and return as they hit me so hard in the chest. I hope that this is conveyed to the reader and that all the drama will have been worth it for the last chapter.
It's a bittersweet moment. I am feeling very proud to have written seven such well received books, in just ten months, and to have gained some fabulous fans and friends along the way. I am also feeling very sad that my journey with Mia, Lexi, Gabe, Doug, Robert and Sofia and all the other characters is over. They have been with me every single day for all of that time, even in my dreams, Gabe especially ;-) <3 It's going to be hard to let them go, but I am ready for a new challenge in the erotic romance with humour genre.
I am sure that when I have had a break and written a few more books, I will want to revisit these characters, whether as a prequel for Mia and Lexi, a sequel for them all, or a spin off with Lexi or Robert Austin - or maybe all of those options! I'd love to hear what you, the readers and fans, would love to see.
Many thanks for sticking with me, reading, rating and reviewing <3
WOW! I really would give more than 5 stars to this one! This is a really good ending to an awesome story of 2 people who were meant to be but had to fight to survive in their relationship. Mia and Gabe are 2 of the most passionate, emotional, loving, stubborn people. Infinite Love showed their relationship could withstand anything as long as they fought for each other. They loved each other so much it practically hurt. In this book you feel a mix of emptions! You laugh at Lexi and Mia together, you get angry at Mia and Gabe's stubbornness and you cry with the emotional roller coaster of their feelings for each other and the hurt they encounter. C.J. Fallowfield is a wonderful author with such an amazing talent for being able to capture a reader like she did in this series. Infinite Love is the end of Mia's and Gabe's journey together but what a real emotional impact it has on me as a reader. I DEFINTEIY recommend this book, alone with the whole series, to everyone who loves a good romance with all the emotional twist and turns. It was definitely a roller coaster ride of emotions but I wouldn't change a thing about it!
OMG. I have just read Infinite Love, the last book in the Austin series and I was blown away. I laughed, I cried tears of happiness and sadness, I screamed in frustration and then cried again at a beautiful ending that gave me everything I hoped that it would. Please, please, please come back and do more with these characters in the future. I'm going to miss them so much. One amazing series and even more incredible is that it's your first attempt at writing. Kudos Ms Fallowfield, you have a super fan for life here!
If you are not reading this series, you are seriously missing out! GET IT NOW <3
Well heck where do I begin? This book was smooth sailing-BAZINGA ! My emotions felt as though I was on a sailboat in rough waters. I'm quite positive I felt every human emotion possible at least twice in this book.
Over the series I've laughed and cried; been happy and sad along with Mia and her crew. It's bittersweet the way the series wrapped up in the last novel. There may have been a time or two I wanted to throw my kindle from the immense disquietude of my emotions. After I invested myself through the entire romantic series I ultimately believed this book would be a sweet and uneventful wrap up of the story. Ha, It was quite the opposite.
I felt connected to Mia; and her quick wit was at an all time high in this book. Mia and Lexi moments are the best. Mia and Gabe sexy time are hotter than ever. Drama is at its highest.
The way Miss Fallowfield portrayed these characters is fascinating. This last book was my favorite of them all. I devoured it in two days. I look forward to reading more novels from Miss Fallowfield.
Sod off. I effin love this series. Overload. I will miss Gabe and Mia, aswell Lexi. Took me a week to finished reading. Really I'm in agony... that I'm done reading this series.
I cannot even begin to say how much I love this series. These characters have truly captured my heart. I was so drawn into this book/series that not only did Gabe and Mia’s relationship capture me, but all the different relationships drew me in and captured my heart.
Infinite Love picks up right where Love & Loss left off. Gabe and Mia’s love and commitment is truly tested to the limit. From the first page I was put on an emotional rollercoaster. My heart loved and ached with each characters. I do not want to give any spoilers, so all I will say is you will not be disappointed. This book beautifully ties everything together with a well-deserved ending.
ARC copy provided by the author for honest review. The Austin Series is the best series I have read, EVER, it's captivating and you will not be disappointed! The last book in the series is intense! Your emotions will run wild, I had to take breaks just to get my emotions in check to finish reading. I have feel in love with all of the characters Mia, Gabe, Lex, and Doug. The author takes you on the journey and I feel as though I know the characters personally. She also makes you feel every emotion, happy, sad, anger, fear etc. I have recommended this series to everyone I know and will continue to do so, it is simply indescribable in words. Read it!!! You will not be disappointed.
What an emotional ride! A really great series! Thank u CJ for the opportunity to read ur first book. The characters are amazing, great twists, amazing sex and forever love. What more could u possibly want?
What a great Book! Its my favorite in the entire series! Thanks CJ Fallowfield for taking me on this amazing journey with Mia and Gabe! Can't wait to see what other great stories you will share!
Infinite Love was the perfect ending to a fabulous series! I must preface this review by saying that I am a "first book in a series" lover - I love meeting characters, getting to know them, watching them experience everything for the first time, wondering where the story is going. Rarely do I enjoy subsequent books as much as the first one, nothing beats "first times" for me. However, Infinite Love is one of those very rare books that I actually loved just as much as the first book in the series! Some of my most favourite scenes from The Austin Series are found within Infinite Love, and I look forward to rereading it just as much as I do New Leaves, No Strings. It has incredible highs, devastating lows, laughter and tears and heartache and joy. All of the things that I loved in New Leaves, No Strings were still there in Infinite Love, which is also unusual. I've found that, just like relationships, as a series goes on, characters can start to get boring, storylines can start to seem far-fetched, and the sex can start getting glossed over - like the author is thinking: been there, done that, don't need to describe it again. Not in Infinite Love - the characters are still relatable, the story is still fresh, and some of the hottest sex scenes are in this book, which amazes me because there is a LOT of steamy sex in The Austin Series! I also thought Fallowfield did a fantastic job of pulling everything together - storylines were carried through multiple books and finally tied up here in an extremely satisfying conclusion. Nothing felt unresolved, and I enjoyed the many surprises along the way. If you enjoy New Adult genre, I cannot recommend The Austin Series enough - you will not be disappointed!
MILD SPOILERS: read at your own risk! The storyline that I thought was brilliantly done in Infinite Love was Gabe and Mia's struggle with infertility. As someone who has had to deal with infertility, I truly appreciated Fallowfield's approach to this topic. I related so much to the apprehension and hope and disappointment and frustration and sorrow that Gabe and Mia experienced. And while I think most people want to read about a happy ever after, and want things to work out in the end, I was happy with the way the story played out. I know firsthand that sometimes it doesn't work out the way we'd hoped, and sometimes no matter how hard we try or how much we want something, it doesn't happen. This storyline, along with many others in the series, really made the book feel more realistic and authentic to me. Gabe and Mia became more than just characters in a story, and I think that's why I love this series so much, and Infinite Love in particular. It affected me in a way that hasn't happened from a book in a long time, and I am sure I will reread this series again and again.
I can't believe this is the finale to the series, and what a ride it's been. I've been hooked from the start. Each book keeping the anticipation building to what the next instalment will have to offer. And I must say Infinite Love doesn't disappoint. For a reader, it delivers on every level.
This book pulls every emotion from you, like never before. It's not just words to a story. C.J delivers the ability to pull you into the tale, so it's feels that you're there sitting alongside these characters. Connecting with them, so you’re experiencing every emotion that they endure.
It's another roller coaster of a ride with plenty of twists, turns and shocks. Your heart will be soaring, only to plummet with some scenes. You will laugh, cry and feel everything that Gabe & Mia encounter. There's plenty of Hot sex. But surprisingly I found this book to be more raw on an emotional level. It's so powerful. It cuts deep, picking at your heartstrings. Leaving you vulnerable.
The book doesn't just concentrate around Gabe & Mia's journey. It's refreshing to see the appearances of other familiar characters that we have met throughout The Austin series, and their stories unfolding. Each character bringing that extra special touch to what's already a beautiful written story.
Overall to me, Infinite Love is Gabe & Mia. It's a love that's raw, passionate, fiery & unique. It's a love that will continue to grow and gain in strength, and will stand the test of time forever. As long as they have each other, nothing else matters.
And for a guy who only saw sex as a means to relieve himself from the guilt of his past & girl who swore never to fall in love. I don't think they've done too bad along their journey.
Thank you C.J Fallowfield for a wonderful journey. It's a story that will stay with us forever xxx
As I read the last words of this beautifully told story I was very emotional and unsure of how I felt. I am sad that this is the end of the story, of having the honour to peak into the lives of these heart warming characters, to know that through all their challenges that they have come out the other side stronger and happier. I am still sad that this series has ended I loved it, felt like I lived it.
C.J. Fallowfield had me right from the beginning with New Leaves, No Strings continuing to capture my attention and heart through Baggage & Buttons, and Forever and an Engine, then I couldn’t wait to get my hands on The Honeymoon Period and again on Love and Loss; also needed so much to hear Gabe’s side of the beginnig in Destined. When I finally started this last book I knew that Gabe, Mia and Lexi were in for a hard ride. Quickly my emotions were wrapped on in their joy and pain. I believed I laughed until I cried many times while reading the banter between Mia and Lexi; then I cried hard each time my heart broke for Mia and Gabe, by the end of the book I had no more tears even tears of happiness wouldn’t come. I certainly was a totally emotional mess… that in itself tells me that C.J. Fallowfield has an amazing talent to capture her readers by telling her characters story, torturing them, breaking down only to put them back together.
In this Odyssey of The Austin series my heart ached, broke, was mended, broken again, ached again, soared with laughter, filled with sorrow and at last with happiness.
For anyone brave enough to ride the rolling coaster of emotions that C.J. Fallowfield puts her characters and readers through you may be emotionally exhausted by the end but it is so worth to ride.
You C.J. have a fan for life in this reader, looking forward to your next series
Gah!! So so so so so so so many things happen! Mia and Gabe’s story is beautiful its tragic its sexy and endearing. Fallowfield has skyrocketed to my Favorite authors list with this one. I was all over the place with these beautiful characters I felt every emotion. Tears upon tears upon tears were shed happy ones and sad ones. Mia and Gabe’s sexual encounters are just as hot if not hotter than when they first met. Fallowfield is a talented erotica author who can paint a scene with words better than most out there. Whew!! I’m still flustered epic epic epic. Infinite Love was perfection all around the humor was lovely and highly enjoyable. All of our characters stories are developed and closed nicely. Throughout the series Mia and Gabe had serious demons to deal with but they do so perfectly imperfectly. Their loved ones and friends story lines were treated with as much care as the main characters and let me tell you that was just another thing that made this read so special. I never wanted it to end and I’m sure you will feel the same. This is a MUST READ(adults only) yummy yummy yummy. *sigh
My Rating 5.0 Knife, Hospital, Cuffs, Yes, Christmas, Infinity Bracelet, Sacrifice, IFV, Peanut Butter, Ladies Night, Tattoo’s, Uni, Secret Club, Monogamous, Eternal Love, Tampon Isle, Red Hair, New Phone, Christmas Present, Four Years, Visiting Tabby, Full Circle, From New Leaves, No Strings to an Infinite Love Unlike any other!!! I love this so HARD Perfection filled stars! Seriously this was amazing!!!
I'm not sure where to begin, this was such a powerful climax to the series that I needed a few days to recover and get my head around everything that happened. I will start off by saying it was the perfect ending, if there can be such a thing when you really don't want a series or book to end. It tied up loose ends and it seemed full of HEA's for our favourite characters, but with potential for Fallowfield to return to this world and write more in future.
It wasn't all smooth sailing for Mia, Gabe, Lexi and Doug though, if anything I think this was the best book of the series and I wish I could give it a higher rating than 5 out of 5. It had suspense, tension, drama, angst, twists, tragedies (plural), sweetness, romance, steam, lust, the passion we expect from our favourite couple and more. I cried so many times, sometimes tears of anguish, other times tears of happiness. I laughed out loud and I had to clutch my heart on a couple of occasions.
I'm still in love with these characters, so much so that I'm going back to the beginning to start all over again to savour it slowly this time. I've read other reviews saying what a talent Fallowfield has for sucking her audience into her world and making them live the characters lives with them and I wholeheartedly agree. Once I've read The Austin Series again, I'm not sure what's going to fill the void until her next offering arrives in December. Well done and thank you for writing and sharing this wonderful series, you're now stuck with me as a fan for life!
Full circle. That is how the conclusion of this book made me feel. All loose ends were tied up and the story was excellent. I was so frustrated with books three and four, that I almost quit reading the series. I'm very glad that I didn't. Mia and gabe have grown up so much on this series it was so mice to see. To be teenagers with no worries, to adults with the rest of their lives ahead of them, you couldn't ask for more. The love, the fights, the troubles that followed these two were worth the read, to see how they worked through everything was very intense at times. Lexi. Wow is all I have to say from being no commitment sex, to falling in love, to being independent, she was such a great character. She was so strong, but also so vulnerable at times that you can relate to her. She has to be my favorite character in the book. Doug was such an unique guy. He loved and lost, but tried to move on, but couldn't. I loved him. He made you feel for him even though he did some really stupid thing. This book tied up all the loose ends and made you feel whole at the end of this book. There was nothing left up in the air and I loved that about this book.
I didn't give a synopsis to any of this series because I felt that it would give a lot away, but I will tell you it was a great series, I only hope to read more from this author. Her details were excellent and I loved her characters. Sent from my NOOK
I received this as an ARC for an honest review from the author.
I LOVED this book. This is by far my favorite of the entire series. The raw emotions that each character goes through is gut wrenching. The writing is so well done you can feel their pain deep in your soul.
Gabe and Mia have many struggles they work through together and separately. The winding road they take to their HEA is winding and painful.
Both characters grow tremendously during this one. The deep love they have for each other shows through.
Gabe must overcome some of his own hangups in order to move forward with Mia. He cannot put himself in her place and has a one track mind that derails their relationship for a while. Mia is devastated he does not understand and won't try to. A series of misconceptions leads to months of heartache for the two. They eventually have to start their relationship over.
Lexi is a wonderful friend during this time. She is there for Mia all while struggling with her feelings for Doug and her decisions to let him go amongst some other not so great ones. She gives Gabe and Mia a precious gift that they will forever be grateful for.
I am sad to say that this is the final book in The Austin Series. I liked that I had all the books to read and no waiting to find out what happens. I think that is what I might do for any new series that I might think of reading. Some authors take over one year for their next book to be released, I can’t take the pressure of waiting. This is a huge turn off for the readers.
Mia makes a life changing decision once the campus killer is found. As nothing ever goes as planned, this book will span over 2 plus years of the next chapters of their lives. It is an amazing story. I really can’t give any details as I don’t want to spoil anything.
I have seen Gabe, Mia, Doug and Lexi all grow in this series. The author did a great job with wanting me to keep turning the page to see what happens next.
Christian and Ana of FSOG have nothing on Gabe and Mia. OMG….Seriously….Really….OMG…
C.J. I hope you will have a spinoff….You know who I am talking about…..
**** This is going to be a must read series****
***Must add to your To Be Read (TBR ) list of books. This is book 6 of 6 in this series.
Boy oh boy, how many emotional ups and downs can there be in one book??? After the way the previous book ended, I thought I knew it all but i was wrong!!! And I am happy i was because I really liked Milo. Mia finally matured into a somewhat level-headed woman and I ended up really liking her in the end of this book. I felt terrible with what she had to go through with her abduction then not being able to get pregnant and then losing her baby and also that clusterfuck of a misunderstanding between her and Gabe. I didnt know that I could dislike Gabe while reading this series but in the middle of this book he became a real jackass and said some really mean things to Mia and I thought he was way out of line and Mia had every right to walk away and take a break - which brings us to Mia thinking he cheated and that whole problem. However he redeemed himself and I was back to loving him. Im so happy Gabe and Mia, as well as Lexi, Doug and Robert, all had their HEA. It was a looooong time coming and there has been many many many ups and downs but they pulled through all of it and can go on living their new lives with their families
I have just completed the 6th and final book in the Austin series and I absolutely loved it! Gabe and Mia were so deeply in love and it was a real pleasure to journey 5 years with them. The series had it all... Beautiful, heartfelt emotion, gut wrenching angst and moments of suspense, scorching hot intimacy and real life woven in between, with two awesome best friends to top it all off! Most of the books in the middle ended with a cliffhanger so intense, that I couldn't spare a moment to review them because I had to instantly pick up the next to find out what happened! The foreshadowing was well done, but even still, there were surprises that I did not see coming! I LOVED how it all came 'full circle' and the author cleverly used each book title in the final passages in a meaningful way! I am officially a fan, Ms. Fallowfield, and will be continuing to snag each of your future novels. Your writing is clever, witty and right up there with my favorites! Thank you for sharing this beautiful love story!
**Complimentary copy provided by author for an honest review**
Infinite Love is one of my favorite books in the series. As the story of continues, relationships and trusts will be tested and the mystery behind the killings will be solved.
Gabriel and Mia will be soon again tested. With all the things that will happen to them, will their love with each other conquer all the challenges that they will face?
There are tons of scenes that really got me emotional. But there are also scenes that I want to smack the living daylights out of Gabriel (sometimes). Oh, and Lexi! This girl is also one of my fave characters. She’s willing to do anything for the people she loved especially Mia. I love how she showed her support to her and her loyalty to the woman she sees not just as a friend but also a sister. Anyway, what I like about this book is that it has too many unexpected events that rocked my world. I love how the author made it interesting, full of emotions and not predictable. CJ Fallowfield did an amazing job!
It's always bitter sweet to come to an ending of a series. I was first introduced to this series by way of an ARC and then I was hooked. I have to admit, I'm not the biggest fan of love-at-first-sight romances but this became much more. From the sass of Mia's best friend Lexi to the twists and cliffy of the fifth book, this series got better with each book. Yes, there are 6 books to the series but they are full-length novels...Yes, there is ALOT of sex, especially in the 4th book, but I will say this author definitely does it right! In my eyes, I couldn't see these characters as 19/20. That was something easy for me to overlook though. I enjoyed learning more about British verbiage/slang :) and I appreciate this author getting the medical jargon down correctly (yes, I am an ob/gyn sonographer). I'm sad to leave these characters but it was a great ride! I really enjoyed this series!
This is the perfect ending to a really good series. These books must be read! I repeat MUST. I spent the summer with Mia, Gabe, Lexi, Doug and they have made me mad, laugh, cry, happy, sad... it was an emotional ride that's very well written. Now in this last book we see Gabe and Mia fight for their happy ever after. I love that they had to earn it because it made the ending taste even sweeter. I love that they are in their early twenties but have lived through so much and they are married. it is so realistic that it made me review and revise my plans for the future. I recommend this series to everyone because it is a definition of love: love for true friends that become family, love for a stepparent that does more than your actual parent, love for the ones we have lost but still move forward in life. I would like to say thank you for writing these books. I am a fan. I hope you bring them back. I will take them anyway I can get them. so I can't wait!
I couldn't help thinking about how much Gabe and Mia have been through in such a short time as I read the last book in the series. More than most couples go through in a lifetime. The story begins with Mia's attack and recovery. Seriously how much does this poor girl have to endure? Thank goodness she has Gabe and their family and friends to help her. And oh my goodness Gabe's daddy has a girlfriend! Go Robert! Mia's brush with death gave her much to think about and brought change into her relationship with Gabe in two very big ways. Of course they are still having that tie me up and spank me scorching hot sex. More than that though is their growth both as individuals and as a couple. Poor Lexi is dealing with some pretty big issues herself and my heart broke for her.
I so loved this series and all the people in it. I will miss Gabe and Mia and Lexi and Doug. I was so pleased with how CJ ended their story.
This whole series is awesome we have 6 books that each book has any where from 280 to 400 pages and I read the whole series in about 3 days it was that good. We see a couple who has went through a whole mess of issues their whole lives to death, betrayal, emotional abuse to trust issues. Although there childless in some decisions, I kept reminding my self that they were still kids and to have to go through what they did, it's amazing that it ended the way it did.
We see Mia go through a scary, life threatening situation, even though it was awful it helped her realize what was important and what she really wanted out of her relationship with Gabe. Lexi steps up and helps them get their dream a start at a family. We see them get their HEA, it's about dame time. I could not put this book down. This whole series I've cried , laughed, sighed and have gotten completely pissed, but loved every minute of it.
BRILLIANT. What an ending to a brilliant series. I laughed I cried, I was beside myself with grief, I got angry. I have never felt so strongly emotionally when reading a book. Mia and Gabe have dealt with a lot and been through a lot. It wow what they face in this final book is epic. There were major good times for them and bad in this book but can they get through them and still be together. I've now finished reading the whole series and I am now left with an enormous void to fill. I miss following all the characters journey already. This has been one of my favourite series and will stay with me for quite a while. Gabes at the top as well as one of my fav book boyfriends. If you love a great story of love, passion, romance, drama, friendship, hot sex, hot characters, YOU MUST READ THIS SERIES IT IS AWESOME.
If I can give this last book more then 5 stars Shit I would give it 10!!!! OMG We had Drama and More Drama never ending drama. I was Crying so much had too stop reading it few hours and then went back. Must say Lex and Mia had me laughing so hard. I wouldn't give anything way because want others too read first book until the last book.
PLEASE PLEASE GIVE Lex and Dough there own Books with Gabe and Mia in it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or do a Girls night out with Lex and Mia that would be so funny with those two drinking....
