Ramsey Blackwood is a menace on the ice. A bruiser. A fighter. A legacy at St. Charles University, keeping his family name alive even after his cousins have graduated.
But his real obsession? Reese St. Pierre.
It started the first time he saw her. Years ago, he saved her from a man who meant to hurt her. But it wasn’t just a white knight move. It was the beginning of his downfall.
She’s all he sees. All he wants. All he craves.
But Reese is off-limits. His best friend. The little sister of his cousin’s wife. A dancer with more grace than anyone he’s ever known. The only person who makes him feel like there’s a shred of good left inside him. She’s also someone else’s.
Ramsey tells himself she deserves better. That no one is good enough for her—not even him. That he’ll protect her from the shadows, even if it means burying his own secrets—his violent tendencies, his obsession, his addiction to the darkness his cousin Penn introduced him to.
But when he finds out just how unworthy her boyfriend really is, all bets are off.
Reese has always known Ramsey was dangerous. But when she follows him into the night, she realizes she never knew just how dark he truly is. And now that she’s seen him like this, there’s no turning back.
She was his once-upon-a-time salvation. Now, he’ll be her sweetest sin.
This is a college MF sports romance and a standalone in the Sinful Spartans of SCU series. There will be content that you would expect to see in a dark romance. Please check the content list before reading.
Ramsey Blackwood is an SCU legacy. A core member of the St. Charles University hockey team. He’s also in love with his best friend, Reese St. Pierre.
Fearing his inner demons will dim her light, Ramsey has deemed Reese off-limits. But that does little to quell his obsession with her.
I’m new to both Havoc Wilde and London Snow so I haven’t been waiting on this story like everyone else has. But that doesn’t mean I’m any less obsessed!!
The only hiccup for me was that Reese’s step onto the wild side was a little out of left field. Since it was a pivotal moment in their relationship, it was necessary to the storyline but still a bit out of place, in my opinion. But make no mistake, I loved these two!!

If dark, obsessive hockey romance is your thing, you need this book immediately.
Sinful Obsession introduces Ramsey Blackwood in the most unforgettable way. He is possessive, morally gray, and completely consumed by his love for Reese. From the moment he saved her years ago, she became his center, even if he believed he was too broken to deserve her. The intensity of his devotion and the way he loved her from the shadows made every moment feel heavy with emotion and tension.
Reese was the perfect balance to Ramsey’s darkness. She is strong, perceptive, and far from fragile, and what made their relationship so compelling was how fully she accepted him. She did not run from his darkness but stepped into it, choosing him completely. Their connection felt deep and inevitable, built on years of quiet longing, trust, and an emotional bond that made their transition into something more feel powerful and consuming.
This story was intense, addictive, and impossible to put down. Ramsey and Reese’s journey was messy, passionate, and deeply emotional in the best way. I was completely hooked on their love, their chaos, and the way they became everything to each other.
Dark, messy, passionate, and completely addictive.

Huge thank you to Havoc Wilde and The Smuthood for the ARC! 😍 All my bookish thoughts are completely my own. ✨
One, His excuse of "no one is good enough for her especially not me" is a bit eye rolling. I mean his cousin is married to her sister and his other cousins are married to her friends so why is he not good enough for her?! 🤷♀️
Two, what kind of stupid, prideless, pathetic nincompoop is her boyfriend to be with a girl who lives with her posessive best friend who demands all of her time and is constantly scaring every man away including said boyfriend.
Three, she is so pathetically "stockholm-syndromed" with her best friend that it's not even funny anymore. Just shoot your shot puck.
Four, the story is a bit repetitive, same scenes, same scenarios, same people.
Five, there is so much unnecessary violence that I am convinced the author needs rage management sessions at this point LOL.
Five, addendum, the gore is goring and the violence is absolutely disgusting. I had to skip through the torture scenes. And that cousin Penn! Is a complete psycho-maniac.
Six, hate to compare between Havoc Wilde and her sister London Snow, but where Snow writes obsessive OTT virgin MMCs, Wilde's MMCs put porn stars to shame and it is absolutely disgusting. If I knew that going into this book, I would have skipped all together. And here is where this book drops 2 stars. 💅
Ok never mind this turned into a porn fest. Not my jam. DNF
I was missing a dark college romance after reading mafia stories nonstop, so I picked this up on a whim. I have read the related series from London and met Ramsey in those and if I thought I was ready for him, boy was I wrong! That man is Obsessed with a capital O. The things he does for Reese are so unhinged 🤌🏼
The best part about the book is how easily Reese accepted her feelings, too! The level of angst - not much, not less, just perfect! 🙌🏼
Plus, there are so many side characters from Havoc's other series, and they intrigued me sm 👀 I am going to go back and read their stories too!
Loved Reese & Ramsey!!!! I also really liked this book but I think my expectations were too high that it kinda of ended up disappointing me a little. Don’t get me wrong. I really like this book a lot. Ramsey did and said all the right things. I think it was a me thing. I couldn’t get over him being experienced while Reese was a virgin. I thought it would be fine and that maybe I could get over it since he’s been celibate since he met her. He was also completely obsessed and possessive over her, literally thought of no one else, but her. But for some reason it still ended up bothering me that I couldn’t really fully enjoy what I was reading especially when their were mentions of his past. Also, I really hate how Ramsay referred to Reese as like innocent fragile thing and how he didn’t want to taint her with her darkness and how he sort of used it as an excuse to not show her his true side. I don’t know, it just got annoying. I was relieved when they moved past that.
Dark Hockey Romance Best friend’s To Lovers Ott, Obsessed, J/P, Protective MMC Stalker MMC Celibate MMC (4 Years) Virgin FMC Roommates Touch Her & Die He falls first and harder Get on the damn bike/F*ck it Bucket List No OWD OMD No Cheating/Sharing/Third Act Break Up No intimate Scenes With OP Dual POV (1st Person) HEA No Condoms Primal Play Dirty Talk
I think this was my first hockey romance, and I have to say, I’m surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It definitely helped that Ramsey was obsessed exactly the way I like - and definitely morally grey. Not pitch black, but grey enough for me to truly enjoy his character.
I’m also not a big fan of the friends-to-lovers trope (or at least I wasn’t until now), but Havoc Wilde wrote it so well that I might actually change my mind - or at the very least, her books will be the exception. It worked perfectly here, and the chemistry between the characters was amazing from the very first moment.
Overall, I’d say this book was a relaxing read - perfect for turning your brain off and fully immersing yourself in the story. The author’s writing style really worked for me. There were funny scenes, sweet moments, and I especially have to praise the chapter length, which felt just right. That’s not always a given, so it was a very welcome change.
The only thing I regret is not doing my research beforehand, because I didn’t realize characters from other series would appear here. Right from the start, I was intrigued by Penn as a side character - and it turns out the author has already written his book. Unfortunately, I only found that out after accidentally spoiling parts of his story for myself. Still, there are so many details I don’t know, so there’s a high chance I’ll go back and read his book soon.
Sinful Obsession is definitely a story worth reading - especially if you enjoy sports romances and morally grey men, but aren’t looking for something that will emotionally destroy you. This is more the kind of book that simply warms your heart, and for me, it was absolutely a 5-star read.
Dark Hockey Romance + Stalker MMC + Dancer FMC + Best Friends to Lovers
This book follows Reese and Ramsey who are have been best friends for 4 years, however Ramsey has been keeping a secret…he is completely obsessed with Reese. Not like your normal obsessed either, I’m talking cameras every where she regularly goes, keeps track of everyone who interacts with her, and hasn’t touched a single other woman since he has meet her.
Reese on the other hand cherishes her friendship with Ramsey. He is always taking care of her and he opens up to her and no one else besides his family. They do spa days together and share a place. Then one day she sees him in a different light and she can’t take only being friends with him anymore.
I loved watching this friends to lovers story unfold. I loved the angst between the characters and the spice was spicin’. Spice rating: Fire sauce packet from Taco Bell. The situation that happened at the 80% mark is what made me lose the plot. It felt oddly placed and the reaction was extreme. And the spice after that was not something I like in my books. I don’t like mixing blood and spicy times.
Overall, I think this would be a great book for those who like spicy dark romances with overprotective MMC’s.
This book was sent to me from the Smuthood. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
ARC Read I absolutely loved this book. It’s the kind of dark, angsty college romance that pulls you in from the first page and refuses to let go. Ramsey Blackwood is everything you want in a morally grey hero—intense, protective, dangerously flawed, and completely obsessed in the most addictive way to read about. His duality as a brutal force on the ice and a man quietly battling his own darkness made him such a compelling character.
What I loved most was the tension between Ramsey and Reese. Their history, the moment he saved her years ago, and the way that connection evolved into something forbidden and consuming added so much depth to their relationship. You can feel how badly he wants to protect her—even from himself—which made every interaction layered with emotion and longing.
Reese isn’t just a bystander in the story either. Watching her begin to see the real Ramsey and step into his world added intensity and stakes that kept me hooked. The chemistry between them is electric, and the angst is perfectly balanced with vulnerability.
This book fully embraces its dark romance themes—obsession, moral conflict, and love that feels both dangerous and inevitable. If you love possessive heroes, high emotional tension, and relationships that walk the line between salvation and ruin, this one is unforgettable..
DNF at 82% I couldn’t do this, look, I’m all for an obsessed and unhinged MMC, and it’s even better if he’s a hockey player, but for the life of me, I could not take this seriously. What in the name of a knock off Bonnie and Clyde tag team was even going on here? Reese attacking that girl because she said some uncalled for things and then just casually murdering and burying her? And the guy that Ramsey killed too? It was just wild and extreme, way over the top depravity, but you know, all in the name of love, right? 💀
I can usually suspend disbelief for dark romance, but this crossed into wildly unrealistic territory for me, it just became unreadable
This book gave me so much of what I love throughout it. We have a man that is so obsessed with a young woman that he will do anything to be in her orbit, like becoming her best friend. He's obsessed in all the right/wrong ways that he stalks her every move. Even in the house he bought for her to live in with him. Get ready for this world wind of a couple, Ramsey & Reese!

Ramsey Blackwood has been obsessed with Reese St. Pierre since he saw her through her sister's phone four years ago. When a Blackwood finds his other half, they know it and will do anything for them.
Problem is Ramsey thinks Reese is to good for him because he has a darkness that lives inside of him that he doesn't want to touch her. So he decided to become her best friend. Which has pretty much tortured him for the past 4 years.
He's been with no other person in that time because they aren't Reese. Yet, he won't take that step into making her his. Even though he is always ruining the relationship she's been in by always showing up and taking her away from spending time with them.
Ramsey is so protective over Reese that he has a tracker in her. She is aware that he stalks her and tracks her. He's in her phone as "My Stalker" but she doesn't really know the depths of everything. She doesn't even realize that he's totally into her, but everyone sees it. Especially their family.
This is an interesting bunch of family though because their all related in one way or another. Not by blood though. Reese's sister is Reagan who is married to Penn. Penn has taken Reese in a sister and a Blackwood. Ramsey is Penn's cousin, also known as "Mini Me" to Penn and his twin 3 year olds because Ramsey looks, acts and behaves just like his crazy cousin. Although I think Penn is a little worse than Ramsey, no a lot worse. That's just one of the many relationship going on in that family. Their is step-siblings together and others to.
After the attempted SA that happens to Reese, Ramsey loses his mind and goes after the attacker. She is aware what Ramsey did and that starts a new bond into their relationship.
Things gradually start to come out when she makes her f*ck it bucket list and Ramsey decides she will not do any of that list with anyone else except him. The more they cross off, the more Ramsey reveals his true self and his feelings, wants and obsession with Reese.
Reese realizes she loves his darkness, craves it even. She also realizes that she has darkness in her as well.
Their spicy times is always sinful and steamy through the pages. Ramsey's mouth, lord 🥵🥵 I couldn't imagine a man talking to me like that during spicy times. The pages in this book are full with spicy moments. It did take a while to get to those moments in the book, but once it started, there was no shortage of it. The primal part was well written and extra spicy. I do wish we would have gotten that chapter of them going back with what he threatened he was going to do to her next time. I would have enjoyed reading that. Maybe it's in the bonus chapters I haven't had the chance to download yet.
I gave this book 4⭐️ because the beginning of the book has me really confused. The boyfriend had a different name, major in school and look. Then it just changed to the Justin guy out of nowhere.
Then I would have liked the family adjective to have been explained more. I have not read past books by this author so I didn't know the relationship between all of the family. It just went right into it and I became more confused. I ended up working it all out, but it was a good bit into the book already
The first like 15-25% of the book needed to be worked on, made things more clear and clean it all up. I wouldn’t want this author to put this book out there with those mistakes when this is an amazing book if she fixed this parts. I did receive this a an arc so it might all be fixed.
Everything else about this book was great! I love all the tropes in this book and they were well represented throughout it. Ramsey was morally grey, more like black, but I loved all the feelings he felt for Reese. Even in his messed up way of showing her. He definitely could manipulate or gaslight her into spending time with him over her boyfriend or other people. Ramsey is the perfect dark book boyfriend.
Were Ramsey and Reese everything I hope they’d be? Yes, yes they were. Was Ramsey Blackwood deliciously unhinged and obsessed and completely and utterly besotted with his ‘North Star’ Reese? Yes, yes he was! And as always Havoc delivers her MMC completely and utterly devoted to his woman in the most deranged but TOTALLY romantic way. Would Ramsey be a walking red flag in real life? Hell, of course he would! But in this book??? The things he does to keep Reese safe and the lengths he goes to ensure she’s looked after and cared for are just down right swoon worthy!🤣 Ramseys been Reese’s best friend for 4 years but never crossed that line with her for fear he isn’t good enough. And because he’s afraid she won’t be able to handle his darkness. When in fact, once Justin- Reese’s boyfriend is out of the picture, Reese realises that she’s wanted Ramsey to be hers and hers alone all along. She’s tired of being the good girl she decides to start taking what she wants and creates a bucket list that Ramsey says he’ll help her with. Once they start ticking things off of the list, Ramsey can’t hold back anymore and shoots his shot with her. And it’s just what Reese has been wanting! What unfolds is actually that Reese craves Ramseys darkness, it’s a real turn on for her and makes her want him all the more. We may or may not see Reese become possessive over Ramsey right back, which he’s totally here for! They dynamics between these two was fabulous - I could not of loved them more. The tension that builds between the fine of their friendship and then them crossing that line is electric, the spice was chilli pepper hot- with an EPIC primal play scene and the banter between Ramsey and his cousin Penn and best friend Copeland was too tier! This book was a fun time from start to finish and just the escapism you will want and love if you’re into unhinged, broody hockey players who watch their girl on camera and learn to tattoo in a couple of hours so no one but him can touch her skin!🤣

Sinful Obsession is not a gentle dark romance — it’s a full-throttle, red-flag parade wrapped in hockey gear and pure, unhinged devotion. If you like your heroes morally gray, wildly possessive, and down catastrophically for one woman only… Ramsey Blackwood is about to ruin you. Ramsey isn’t just obsessed — he’s Obsessed™. Four years ago he saved Reese St. Pierre’s life, and from that moment on she became his entire world. He watches her, protects her, worships her, and quietly burns from the sidelines, convinced he’s too dangerous for someone as bright and good as she is. Spoiler: she’s not nearly as fragile as he thinks. Reese is a dancer with light on the surface and steel underneath. What makes this story hit so hard is how quickly she stops running from her feelings and instead leans into them — into him — embracing the darkness rather than trying to fix it. Together they’re explosive: banter, tension, emotional intensity, and spice that feels both dangerous and deeply intimate. This book delivers everything dark romance readers crave: stalker energy, possessiveness, touch-her-and-die vibes, and a hero who would burn the world down just to make her smile. Yet beneath the chaos is a surprisingly tender core — Ramsey’s devotion isn’t performative; it’s aching, patient, and all-consuming. Add in a chaotic cast of equally intriguing side characters (hello, Blackwood boys 👀), a fun “F*ck-It Bucket List,” and just enough angst to keep the tension razor sharp, and you’ve got a story that’s impossible to put down. Unhinged, addictive, spicy, and utterly devoted, Sinful Obsession proves that sometimes the scariest man in the room is also the safest place to land — if you’re the one he’s chosen. 😮💨🔥🏒
The moment we’ve all be waiting for — Ramsey 𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐅*𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 Blackwood has entered the chat and he’s about to 𝐅*𝐂𝐊 some sh*t up real good… So hold on tight because we’re about to be in for the wildest rides of our lives!
Since the moment Havoc Wilde introduced us to Ramsey Blackwood I have been 𝐎𝐁-𝐅*𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆-𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 with him and knew that I desperately needed his story to be told—and then finding out she didn’t have any plans to write his story. That 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐘 𝐅*𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐋 😭. But then, London Snow storms in (her sister and another one of my all-time favorite author’s) and demands it (thank 𝐅*𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 goodness) because she knows that we 𝐀𝐋𝐋 want it!
𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 was absolutely one of my favorite reads (of this year + possibly even of all-time) and put me in a major book slump for several days after because the storytelling and characters wiggled their way deep inside my soul and refused to let go! Ramsey Blackwood is 𝐎𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 and completely 𝐔𝐍𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐃 when it comes to Reese St. Pierre — his 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓. He’s been 𝐍𝐎𝐓 so 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 with Reese for years and everyone knows it except her. Stalking and tracking her every move is one of his favorite hobbies. He’s reclined himself to a lifetime of friendship, at least until she reveals her bucket list and then all bets are off. He plans to help her cross off every lil’ thing on that list, but only if it’s with him…
When you wish you had a best friend who’s a psychopath in the most devoted way — the kind who would unalive for you, tick off every single thing on your “F*ck It Bucket List”, and be obsessed with you and only you — you know Havoc Wilde has done her job 🔥🥵
Ramsey is hot, dominant, and obsessively possessive, yet he has a soft spot for his family — and the softest spot of all for Reese — which somehow makes him even more dangerous and irresistible.
Reese’s character development really stood out to me. At first, I was a little hesitant about her, but she grew on me so much — especially once she finally decided to go after what she wanted, and what she wanted was Ramsey.
This book delivers exactly what dark romance readers love: possessiveness, morally grey intensity, and a hockey player who watches his girl every minute of the day. The chemistry is strong, the obsession is constant, and the tension never lets up.
The pacing and storyline were spot on, making this an addictive, easy read. I’ll definitely be picking up more of Havoc Wilde’s books because I’m so curious about Penn now 🥵🤣
I was given this book for my honest review from Havoc Wilde and The Smuthood. I absolutely devoured this book. I mean this book had me drooling in parts and gasping in others. Also had me cheering and me angry muttering in parts as well. This book I could not put down which is really hard when you have four kids and watch your two year old niece. Havoc knows what she is doing when she created Ramsey and Reece. Ramsey had so much depth in him that it made me want to cheer for him to know that he is worth everything even though he is a creepy dude. Then there is Reece who you get to know has many layers as well she is just better hiding them. Both of these characters grew into themselves more as the book progressed. Their romance is top tier and I was a little jealous of parts of how much Ramsey loved her. I highly recommend this book. You won't be disappointed. Also the smut scenes are AMAZING!!!!!
3.75 ✨ Came for the unhinged, and Havoc delivered!
It was a gift to suspend reality and sink into the absolute mayhem that was this book. Stalking, obsession, toe curling sexual chemistry, hockey, violence, found family, chasing, masks, bucket lists - oh the list just keeps going friends.
Ramsey Blackwood is the kind of man to commit murder but also wash your hair for you, Yk? The hard ones turned gentle for their girl, I’m sat every time. BUT out of left field comes Reese. The dancer who appears innocent, but has the darkness to meet Ramsey’s - and together? Unstoppable, and hot as hell.
Now I’ve got to circle back to Havoc’s backlist, because I had too damn good of a time not to meet all the Blackwoods.
Although the vibes won out on this read, there was some repetitive phrases and continuity issues that pulled me out of the story. As a visual reader I had some head scratching moments.
Ramsey has been obsessed with his best friend Reese for 4 years - ever since he first saw her
Reese thought he was just a protective bestie who wanted to keep her safe. Little did she know he had no plans of ever letting her settle down and have an actual relationship with anyone who isn’t him.
When Justin, Reese’s boyfriend, crosses a line no man should ever cross, Ramsey comes in like her white knight
More like a black knight, because he made sure Justin would never cross that line again.
That night seemed to change everything for Reese and she started imagining what being with her best friend could be like
—— There’s a small list of things that I find disturbing … Ramsey is up there now 😂 He’s a little unhinged, a little stalker-ish, a little possessive But above all else, he was kind and caring and honest with Reese always
I just wanna know how she didn’t notice this man had no intentions of being just her friend forever He literally knew where she was ALL THE TIME Not to mention the constant threats to any boyfriends
This was a fun little dark hockey read Nothing to traumatize you for life if you’re wondering how dark 🤣
Thank you to the author The Smuthood for the ARC ✨
Wow this book was a wild ride! Ramsey is completely unhinged and I was there for it! Content warning for the torture scenes for anyone that's sensitive to it...it was almost too much for me. 😬 I skimmed through the torture a bit, but enjoyed the rest of the book and the story! This was a completely different vibe from the prequel in the series about the coach. If you're looking for a completely OBSESSED MMC, this one if for you! #stalker #touchherandd!3
I fell absolutely head over heels in love with Ramsey Blackwood- and with Havoc Wilde! Girl, you are unhinged and I can't get enough. 🤣 This was such a great read. Friends to Lovers isn't my typical trope, but this story was just perfection. So much yearning and tension between the MCs. 🫠 I love a book with dark themes that still has so much humor (I need more of Penn's antics immediately). My favorite read of the year so far- highly recommend! Now off to read the rest of the Havoc universe!
Ramsey Blackwood. That’s it. That’s all I need to say. This man loves hard and protects even harder. This book was a good time and at first I didn’t think it was gonna be that dark and then you get to the darker parts (check TWs). Great friends to lovers where the man has always known, but a girl has been oblivious. She’s always been his North Star and he will do ANYTHING for her. Some good banter and overall good time. If you’re looking for a spicy book with a little bit of hockey, a little bit of angst and the touch-her-and-die vibe then this book is for you.
Thank you the Smuthood for the opportunity to read this Arc!
Obsessed - yes! him with her and me with this book and these Blackwood boys 🥵
Ramsey and Reece are the perfect couple, he will do anything for her and 4 years of protecting, yearning and waiting is finally coming to an end and she turns out to be better for him than he could have imagined ❤️
This is a very spicy and bloody, stalker, dark romance with a f*ck it list that was such fun to read 😍
The banter, the spice, the chemistry 🥵 brilliantly written - you will not regret reading this book... if you can handle the triggers
Thank you Havoc and The Smuthood for the ARC opportunity 💕 I can't wait for Copeland and Delaney's book
What a read! I should start by saying I have not read any of the previous books with these characters. It wasn't a problem in the grand scheme of things but I did wish I had more background on both Ramsey and Reese, as this story starts with them ready being best friends and him having put a tracker in her 😅
Ramsey is super intense. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like him, but you kinda get used to him and just go "oh, that's just how he is" 😂 He is super, I mean SUPER obsessed with Reese, who he has been pretending to be best friends with for 4yrs because he thinks he is an all consuming darkness and Reese is the literal embodiment of the sun in the sky and he doesn't want to stomp her light out. The Blackwood family has um... some interesting "hobbies" that usually involve people disappearing.
Meanwhile our homegirl Reese has basically had all her male friends and boyfriends scared off by Ramsey, which she doesn't actually mind all that much because Ramsey will do literally whatever she wants, like spa days and painting his nails. Oh and she can't stop noticing how much sexual tension is between them lately...
Things come to a head when he boyfriend gets angry and tries to force himself on her while spewing vile insults at her. Ramsey gives him an intense farewell, never to bother Reese or any other woman ever again. When Reese realizes that his parents are telling a cover story that he "up and left for Thailand" she confronts Ramsey and they essentially have a very calm conversation about how he murdered him. And then she decides that no, none of this actually scares her and she would very much like to kiss Ramsey now because she's all flattered at how protective possessive he is of her.
She convinces him to let her in on his dark side more and more until one day Ballet Bitch takes it too far and... 🤷♀️ another one joins the Blackwood hobbies, for lack of better term. In hindsight, as intense as the book sounded before starting, I didn't actually find it to be super suspenseful or intense. I found quite a bit of humor in it. I did feel like Reeses turn to the dark side was a bit quick, but I guess all of us have a point where we snap and just say screw it hah. I loved having Ramseys point of view because you really got to see so many sides of him: the super intense best friend, the possessive stalker/unaliver, and the guy who was honestly just so infatuated with Reese that he genuinely was afraid he would ruin her.
Thank you to The Smuthood Inc and the author for allowing me to read and review! I'm excited for Cope and Delaneys story next.
O Ramsey Blackwood, we have been waiting for you and you DID NOT disappoint. Sinful Obsession by Havoc Wilde is book 1 in the new Sinful Spartans of SCU series and as Havoc does so freaking good, it is DARK!! If you love dark hockey romances with a morally gray man that goes beyond every boundary, is absolutely unhinged and obsessed, he is the red flag of red flags and oh is he so sexy! This man is DOWN BAD! You need to read this book!
Ramsey Blackwood. We met him in the last three books about his cousins in the Kings of Castlebrook series by London Snow. And I knew he would be dark, but oh holy hell! He’s an insane hockey player, he’s unhinged, he’s obsessed, he’s a stalker, he’s beyond possessive. But it’s all for one reason. Reese St. Pierre. Touch her and you d!e. Four years ago he saved her life and that was it. He was done, she became his EVERYTHING! This man worships her, does everything for her. And these two have fought it, even though it was simmering underneath all this time. He’s convinced he’s not good enough. She is a beautiful dancer who is light and good and innocent. BUT, this girl is tough and strong and she has her broken pieces just like him and little did they both know just how much she craves the dark too! And that was one of my favorite parts, how she embraced and just loved him for him, especially all his dark parts. And their chemistry and passion, FIRE, BURNED, HEAT.. So many words to describe the absolutely soul connection of these two!
I also LOVED Havoc bringing back all the Blackwoods! Penn, the absolute crazy and unhinged man you are! It was so perfect! I also loved meeting the new characters that will continue in this series!
Havoc Wilde, you freaking DELIVERED!!! After waiting for these two and their story, omg did you give us the perfect, unhinged and so deliciously dark book of them! And I AM HERE for the rest of this series! Add this series to your TBR now and also read The Kings of Castlebrook series by London Snow. I promise you will love these books!

🩷THANK YOU so much to Havoc Wilde and The Smuthood for my ARC!
Holy obsessive stalker best friend. This book blew me away!!
Not sure what I was expecting when I started this book, but wow, it surpassed every expectation I could’ve had. This is my first read from Havoc Wilde, and I will definitely be reading more!!!
I freaking LOVE Reese and Ramsey!! The longing for years all builds up into one freaking steamy explosion and I’m so here for it!! Ramsey is everything I love in a MMC, crazy obsessed, possessive, and takes “touch her & die” to a whole new level. And while Reese starts off all innocent at the beginning, she definitely picks up some of those obsessive traits from Ramsey, and even some of the “touch HIM & die” traits (iykyk😏) The growth of these two is absolutely amazing and I loved every second of their story!!!
I will say, I didn’t realize going into this book that it kind of follows another series(same universe, different characters), so there were a lot of side characters who’s story’s sort of played into this story, so the beginning was a little confusing just learning how everyone was connected, but the farther you get into the book the more everything makes since. I will definitely be checking out the Wicked Brothers of SCU series though, because I freakin loved Penn and Reagan in this book!!
My only complaint about this book is that I’m still longing for a BEDLAM scene!!!! I can practically see the kinky wheels turning in Reese’s head, and I NEED something set there!!!!
Thank you Havoc Wilde and TheSmuthood for the ARC copy of this book!!
