Olivia Monroe has spent her life surrounded by firefighters—first her father and grandfather, and now her best friend and boyfriend, Jake. As an EMT at the firehouse, she knows the risks of loving a firefighter. But she never expected to be caught between two of them.
Jake Cole has always been the fearless one, diving headfirst into danger and life without hesitation. When he finally makes things official with Olivia, it feels right—like something they should have done years ago. But what he doesn’t expect is to realize that his best friend, Ryan, isn’t just part of his past. He’s part of his heart, too.
Ryan Carter has spent years locking away feelings he shouldn’t have. Being in love with Olivia was bad enough. But being in love with Jake, too? That’s a betrayal he never dared to admit. When a near-tragic fire threatens to take them away from him forever, Ryan knows he can’t keep pretending. But does love like theirs even have a place in the real world?
