Synopsis:
The creatures have lured seven children into the dark forest. Now, the children find themselves herded, surrounded, and attacked. Meanwhile, in the town of Enniskregg, the teachers at the school have noticed the children’s disappearance and sounded the alarm. The local Garda and Detectives Siobhan Ryan and Seamus O’Connell have penetrated the dark woods to search for the children.
Review:
The fifth part of the story is mainly from the children’s point of view. Like a pack of wolves, the creatures have isolated the young from the herd. Now, the attack can commence. As the creatures target the most vulnerable of Enniskregg, the horror is now palpable.
Trying to review a serialized novel can be challenging. If there is a long delay between parts of the story, you need to review what happened before so things make sense. It does, however, keep you interested.
