This is the 2nd story in the Sins of the O'Rourke Empire Series. We have Declan the family enforcer is trying to prove his loyalty to the clan after he almost went against his brother, Ronan his clan leader. In doing so he agrees to an arranged marriage with Isla after it’s discovered she stole money from the O'Reilly’s and the secret deal between the O’Rourke’s and O'Conner’s along with the death from years ago is the only way to protect her. Isla is clueless to the danger and damage she’s caused by stealing that the O'Reilly’s are looking for her blood. Isla has never wanted to be a part of the clan life and needed the money to start a new life. These two find their nights are filled with pleasure and during the day Isla fights Declan every step of the way. On their wedding day there’s a moment of uncertainty but once married Isla is given a golden opportunity to escape and in doing so puts herself into danger with the O’Reilly’s, beaten and on her way to being sold into human trafficking with no hope of rescue. With secrets, lies, danger, revenge, sexual slavery, promises and love Isla goes from a thief, being transported into sexual slavery, to a loving husband and a new life on the horizon. This is the second in the series and Isla and Declan's book. Declan is Ronan's enforcer and brother who thought about leaving but never did. He seems to still be suffering for it. Maybe because it's the only one Ronan can really be mad at and know he won't go south.
Isla was never given an explanation, so she tries to escape, which does drive the reader to screaming. She's bratty and a pain & is hard to feel for her. In book one Maeve was wishy washy and to a lesser extent Isla was. The connection between her and Declan moved faster though and was more heated. Her attitude helped when she did manage to escape and into the wrong people. Declan was tired of the constant attacks because of what happened in book one but also has a secret which him not telling shows his true colors.

Declan is told he has to marry Isla who is his brother's accountant who skimmed some money from one their enemies Sebastian O'REILLY who is a man not to be messed with.Isla isn't happy about what she has to do and she plans on running after she goes to the farm and gets what she stoled.Put she gets caught and the wedding is still on,and the enemy is still out retaliating, burning, killing,what ever to set a example or to get even.Isla wants nothing to do with Declan,she wants to be able to make her own decisions and get her money and run.The night before the wedding is happening Sebastian sends a strong message, Isla thinks she has a plan in place,so the next day when she is to wed,she try to run but Ronan shows why not but at the reception she has a chance but then she is taken by Sebastian and his gang.This story is so good,it has secrets and happiness, it's intense and I hated for it to end,it hold your imagination!

This is book 2 in Cooper's Sins of the O'Rourke Empire series. A wonderful addition to this series that I personally think is better when read in series order but can be read as a standalone. This book focuses on main characters Declan and Isla. Declan is an enforcer and needs to prove himself after almost going against his clan leader (also his brother) and finds himself in an arranged marriage with Isla who's stolen from the O'Rourke family. Unaware of the danger she's in, this marriage is the only thing that will protect her and bring the families together. A thrilling, dark, dangerous, sweet at times and steamy too romance read that is sure to delight. I loved this read and can't wait for more!

After reading the first book in this series I couldn't wait to read this one and it was brilliant.
Ronan's younger brother Declan has got to prove himself and a marriage has been arranged to join two families together.
A debt must be paid by the O'Conner for killing Declan's father, his daughter Isla must marry Declan.
The only thing is she has stolen s great amount of money for her to run away from everyone, she wants freedom, to find love.
Sebastian O'Reilly wants revenge and tries to stop the the wedding but only manages to kidnap her afterwards.
A great story revenge, killing, selling women and love.
Hopefully a third book to follow.

Isla makes trouble for Declan's family by stealing money from their enemy and is planning her escape from an arranged marriage that he father has set up. No one is telling her the truth so she is being super stubborn and plans her escape with absolutely no idea as to just how much trouble she really is in. As she was caught she now has to marry the Enforcer Declan which makes things harder for her as she is falling for him while she is still planning her escape. Declan is very taken with Isla but is put in a bad position as he has to keep things from her which makes things between them worse. The action in this books non stop and the way this couple comes together is sweet and frustrating. I enjoyed this read.

Throwback decades.
It's hard to believe that "arranged" marriages are still a real thing in the 21st century. I really hope it's just a device that authors hang their stories on. I know that the trade in women is all too real, unfortunately, it's even increased with the upheaval of people fleeing their homes & countries due to war & political unrest. It's very hard to find any redeeming qualities in any of the men in this. The nearest to a sympathetic character is Declan, & even he is battling psychosis half the time! I wasn't sure whether to return to this series after I read the first book & I find myself similarly torn this time. I might have to leave a couple of months before I decide, like last time.

Now she is the property of Declan. She still has plans of escape but the more time she is in forced proximity with Declan the stronger the feelings become. The Enforcer's Redemption is book 2 in the Sins of the O'Rourke Empire Series. I truly loved book 1 and am absolutely thrilled book 2 is as wonderful! This is a gorgeous series with a captivating, immersive, don’t want to put it down plot! In this Irish mafia romance the characters are strong, fierce and dominant and the spice is epic. It’s an intense and exciting story, full of emotion, love and desire. Scenes have you on the edge of your seat and longing to find out what happens next. Beautifully written this is a must own not just read book!

The promise of protection doesn't mean much to Isla as her desire to be free trumps her understanding of the danger that surrounds her. Declan isn't thrilled that he must re-earn his family's trust, but an arranged marriage is a start. This story was intense and emotional as it progressed with surprising twists. I could not get enough of this book, and I can't wait for more.

Ah, The Age Old Traditions…
A culture rife with misogyny, it’s absolutely staggering. The book definitely plays on a clichéd stereotype of Catholic Irish criminals. It took me longer than I care to admit that I’d forgotten why I didn’t just jump into this book after finishing book one.
If you can choke down the misogyny and enjoy it on a purely surface level it’s a good engaging story. Not sure if I’ll read more of these but either way I did enjoy them.

Isla and Declan need to be in your kindle and you reading their romance story NOW. I can honestly say that this book by Ariana will have you sitting and reading it in just a few days. I felt like the story was not only captivating, but it was very intriguing and hard to put down. So, for your next book to read I suggest this series because it is a must read.

Isla, Indépendant woman is a very feisty, rebel, that doesn’t want to conformed to the mafia life and the controlling men, we follow her tragic path throughout her Independence and the way she wants to live her life. Highly recommended this book.

Isla is strong headed female that’s doesn’t like to be told what to do. And she really doesn’t like to be told that she is getting married to Declan. She tries to run and doesn’t get dry far. Declan would move mountains for her to keep her safe. This was a very well written story. It keeps you on your toes! =)

I had a few continuity issues.. this is the 2nd book, but Aiden is back from the dead.. and Maeve doesn't appear to be pregnant...
I'm also assuming that the writer is an American, as in Dublin, we spend Euros, not dollars! We drive on Motorways, not highways and free ways.

Disappointing...
This book is not at all what I expected. The storyline could have been good but the writing was simplistic. The MMC was not a strong Mafia figure like I expected and the MFC was whiny and stupid. Someone else might like it but it wasn't for me at all at least there wasn't too much violence and abuse.

Great Book!!
I really enjoyed reading The Enforcer’s Redemption, it was a great story and it sucked me in and kept me engrossed from start to finish. Isla and Declan’s story is action packed and the chemistry is super HOT too. Loved the ending.

this is a first by this author and it won't be my last. I absolutely loved Isla. She was a great female, main character and super strong. I also loved how he was with her. their chemistry is through the roof.

I didn’t like this lol Isla is so ungrateful and annoying i actually cannot stand her. And Declan just lets a lackey slap her!! twice!! and doesn’t do anything to the guy!!
