MARELLA has lost the man she loves, before they had a chance to live. But she’s certain he’s not lost forever. Can she find a way to bring him home? Or will she have to face life without him?

FENRIS was cast down to Hell after sacrificing his life to save Ella’s, only surviving thanks to his half-demon blood. But now, at the behest of his Demon Queen mother, he’s enduring merciless torture. When will it end? Will he ever be free, to return to his friends, to Ella? Or is it already too late for him?

The four of them will embark on great adventures separately and together in this thrilling, jaw dropping sequel.

WHYYYYY DO YOU DO THIS!!!
i loved this book more then the first one, the cliffhanger is a lot more harsh. you explained things perfectly and the movie in my head made sense. i loved getting to see other characters POV, it made me love more characters. all the twist and turns this book took were amazing! i didn’t see nothing coming and i was trying to guess!
i can not wait for the final book of this series as well as the rest of jess’ books.

Firstly, I want to say a HUGE thank you to Jess for giving me the opportunity to read the Arc, and congratulations for finishing the 2nd book! 🥳

This was a fantastic continuation of The Woven Fates! I loved that there were multiple POV's this time. Being able to get to know all my favourite characters from the first one a little bit more was so great! 😍 Was so excited to see more romances bloom, more action from all their separate quests and how it all came together for one crazy as hell cliffhanger! 🤯
I did feel some of it was a bit too fast-paced sometimes, as it jumped around between POVs, so often I felt like I just needed a little bit more time with each character... But thats probably just because I love them all. 😅
I especially would have loved to see more of Fenris and his situation. The change all seemed to happen very quickly with him. I felt like I missed out on quite a bit of character development there. 😈

Overall, I still absolutely loved this book, and I can't wait to see how all of this is going to come to an end. I'm so keen for the next one, just like I was for this one when I finished Echoes of Fate. EEK! 😬

If you haven't started Jess' Woven Fates series yet, get on it and help support her on her writing journey! It's such a fun read, fast-paced, full of action, and of course spice! ❤️‍🔥 I feel that if you have never read fantasy before, it would be a great entry-level story to get a feel for the genre or even as a little fantasy palate cleanser. It is so easy to follow and doesn't leave you feeling lost in a bunch of over complicated information. It's straight to the point, leaves you wanting more and wondering what will happen next! 🤩

Round of applause to you, Jess. You should be so proud of yourself! 👏🏻

I love Jess's fantastic character arc as we are introduced to a few new players in the epic continuing battle between Witch hunters, Witches and a whole variety of demons.
Fenris does indeed embrace his birthright in a deliciously dark and brutal way..and I'm absolutely here for it!
The blossoming love between Greta and Logan..even a beautiful start to a sapphic relationship from one of my favourite characters and a new one *swoon*.
Not to mention our favourite Guard mayyyy have a new found love interest, all of his own! I don't think his Royal Charge is too happy about that! And their bratty behaviour is certainly delightful, witty and had me laughing at their behaviour, thoughts and spoken sentences throughout the pages.
I also love how as in the first book, it was easy reading, easy to follow and just everything that fantasy lovers with a short attention span, can absolutely devour in one sitting *high friggn five*

Jess honestly writes so well that you forget that this is only her second publication in her author journey. I am super excited to see what comes next!

I am OBSESSED!! Shadows of Fate completely blew me away! Jess Fuller seriously leveled up with this sequel — every twist, every emotional hit, every moment had me fully in my feelings. The characters? Perfection. The drama? Chef’s kiss. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough and now I have no idea what to do with myself until the next book drops. If you need me, I’ll be on the floor waiting for book 3 because I am NOT OKAY. This series owns me!!

Thank you Jess for allowing me the opportunity to read an ARC

Right from the first page, we are drawn in. The chapters are relatively small, which makes it hard to not devour this book in one sitting. I found myself having to “just one more page” throughout this whole book because I needed answers!

The new POVs give us a more in depth look into some of the characters we didn’t get to know fully in the first book, creating new character dynamics and complexities.

Just like with book one, there were plenty of twists and turns and plot twists, not to mention exciting new characters!

Now I just need book 3 so I can stop obsessing about what might happen next!

Jess definitely knows how to keep you waiting for more.

I loved getting to know the side characters from Echoes more. It has good short chapters that left you wanting more. I can’t wait to read book 3.

I've been so excited for the release of this book, that when I received the arc I dropped everything I was currently reading to get stuck into it.

The short chapter's made the story move along at a nice pace and it was easy to put down to deal with life and pick back up and be immediately immersed again.

Having each chapter told in different characters first hand perspectives was well done and it was so much fun to see how each person responded as the events unfolded.

My only disappointment with the book was the same as the first, it left me wanting so much more! Cannot wait for book 3.

Another incredible book by the amazing Jess Fuller. After finishing book one of the Woven fates on that cliffhanger, there is absolutely no way I was missing out on book two!

Full of the amazing characters from book one with a few new characters along the way, Shadows of Fate is a fast-paced romantasy that will keep you on the edge of your seat just waiting to see what will happen next.

With multiple povs, romance, spice, demons, witches, and the hunters sworn to kill them, this book does not leave you disappointed.

I absolutely loved this story and nearly finished it in one sitting. I look forward to reading Jess' next instalment.

When I received this arc, I stopped what I was reading and raced to start this.

I loved the first book, and this one did not disappoint.

I DEVOURED this book.
The short chapters made it easy to read and soak up each characters storyline. It was fast-paced and had so much going on. I just couldn't put it down.

I will say that as much as I loved the pacing, I do wish at times it could have been a bit slower. But I think that's just me being greedy and wanting the book to last longer!

And once again, Jess has left it on a cliffhanger.

I will now be impatiently waiting for the 3rd book

This is the second book in the Woven Fates series, after reading the first book I just needed to read this one to see what was going to happen..

I loved reading the journeys they all took. You just get invested in all the characters that are mentioned and have story lines.

I am already eager for book 3 :-) with the second book ending like this, I can’t wait to see where Jess will go with this story

Girl, you are killing me. I freaking loved this book!! I cannot with all these cliff hangers. Lyra is my new fave, I wish there was more of her. I wasn’t sure at first with all the changing between characters but ended up really loving the refresh between each character. You did me dirty with that epilogue tho, I don’t want that persons perspective thank you haha
Regardless, can’t wait for book 3 to see where the characters go next.

Nice work, Mama Jess!

Shadows picks up from where Echoes left off. Do we get the answers we seek from Echoes... yes but wait, there's more. You'll have to stay tuned to find out - there's gonna be a Book 3 people!!

There's multiple character points of view, with nice short chapters that hook you in and leave you hungry for the next.

Also, thank you, thank you for not mentioning the word Folds! IYKYK

Shadows of Fate by Jess Fuller
Book 2 in the Woven Fates series.

This was such an easy read and was very hard to put down, I loved it!!!
It is an action packed romantasy with witches, demons, witch hunters, royalty and bandits. There is never a dull moment with lots of twists and turns and plot twists.
I loved the multiple POV’s as we got to learn more about each character and see the broader story.
I can’t wait to learn what happens in the next book.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
Something consistent with Jess’ writing for me is her ability to give you an underlying message throughout her books.
Within book two the message I took away was; everyone deserves to feel loved.

Jess also has a way with her characters, she builds them so beautifully! Each character and POV is so unique, they each have their own voice and it’s always clear whose mind you’re in.

Now chop chop, we want book three!

The second book in the woven fates series doesn’t disappoint. Love the character growth in this book and how many of them acknowledge their flaws and grow through the story. Some twist and turns I didn’t see coming and keep you hooked. I love the authors writing style. So easy to follow and you just get absorbed in the story and feel like you are on the journey with the characters. Seriously can’t wait for the next one. Must know how it ends.

A story told from various characters perspectives, which is not usually a story I favour.

In this case the author has done a brilliant job and has woven each characters story together expertly.

I read this book in a day as I could not wait to see the fates of each of the characters.

Now I am left hanging for the third book.

It would have been a 5 star except for some problems with punctuation and word usage in the earlier part of the book.

If you love:
💫 Found family
❤️ Insta-love
👀 Multi-POV
🧙‍♀️ Witches x Demons
🏞️ Magical adventures
…then you need to keep this one on your radar!

In this sequel, four lives collide as Logan questions everything he’s ever believed about witches and demons, Lyra steps beyond palace walls to prove she’s more than a fragile princess, Marella risks everything to bring back the man she loves, and Fenris, trapped in Hell and tortured by his Demon Queen mother, clings to hope of freedom—each of them chasing truth, love, and destiny in a kingdom on the brink.

After the cliffhanger ending in Echoes of Fate, I was eager to dive into book two.

The plot had strong potential and was easy to follow, with a few original elements that kept me entertained. However, I felt the book lacked the depth in world-building and character development that would’ve made it truly immersive. I wanted to be on the edge of my seat, but it just didn’t quite get there.

Almost every character seemed to be given an insta-love romance with minimal buildup or tension, which left me feeling pretty disappointed. I was hoping for more emotional development and connection between the characters.

While there were a few twists that caught me off guard, the main plot was fairly predictable overall. There were a couple of spicy moments sprinkled throughout, but honestly, I think this series might shine more as a young adult read if those were left out.
