Spanish Edition--- We are loving this series by Cliff Wright. The illustrations are endearing. Oso Negro y Oso Blanco take a kite out for the day. Kites can be naughty in the wind. Very cute.
Een paar simpele tekeningen over tegenstellingen. De tekeningen zijn oké, en eentje is grappig, maar de voor de rest zijn het weinig nuttige woorden en concepten die denk ik niet verstaanbaar zijn voor baby's.
This book has a unique concept of pulling all the rhmes together in a single page at the end. This is a nice way to synthesize the single-page spreads, especially if reading with a toddler.
My wind story times include kites, and this went over fairly well. The toddlers were commenting and liked the bears and everyone was happy, which was a plus since my allergies and sinuses were acting up.
Maybe some day I'll get my act together and order enough board books for everyone to read the story together. 3/17/15
Used for PJ and Lap Story Times. Kipper's Kite: Touch and Feel was unavailable. Went over well even though it is a small board book. (Made sure that it was the first book since my Lap Time ends up quite large by the end of the program...)
For a book that's only about 18 words long, this is a great children's story. Beautiful pictures accompany this rhyming story about two bear friends and a kite, and it's also a book of opposites.
This book is going out of print, so anybody with young children around might want to pick it up, with its companion "Bear and Kite."
Very simple, but great illustrations. My little one loves books that rhyme and this was so cute. short and sweet. great for little ones with limited attention span.
