A secret affair. A love not meant to last - only remembered.In my final year as a student with the Society of Archaeology, I’m stationed on Romia, cataloging artifacts for the Society’s biggest moneymaker—selling relics to luxury hotels. It’s routine work, nothing too exciting. To pass the time, I’ve found a distraction in S’Kor, a soldier in the Allied Republic’s security forces. Our arrangement is no strings, no expectations, and most importantly—no one can know.

But then, out of nowhere, S’Kor breaks the rules. Flowers. A transport ticket. A note that reads Happy Valentine’s Day.

I never thought he wanted more. Now I have to decide if I do too.

Where do I get more S'kor?

Pure sci-fi sweetness! I was completely charmed, but desperately wanted more. A fantastic, if too-brief, story.

I found The Space Between us to be a luminous and deeply moving exploration of the delicate threads that connect us, and the subtle, powerful and sometimes inevitable, forces that can pull us apart. With exquisite sensitivity, we experience a crafted narrative that resonates with the universal human experience of navigating love, ourselves, and the complexities of cultural identity.

"The Space Between Us" is exceptionally well-written, with a immersive setting and interesting world-building. The characters are compelling and layered, making the story both engaging and memorable. I’m eager to explore more works set in this world and see where the author takes it next.
