I deleted my Facebook account as a New Year's resolution for 2026, so that should tell you all that you need to know about how I feel about Meta as a company, which isn't great by the way, but I do still use Instagram, so I'm not totally done with Meta... yet!
With all that being said, this book was actually really good, and I couldn't put it down whenever I started reading it. The reason for the 4 and not 5 star review is due to the fact that I know the author, being of genius level intelligence, is smart enough to know that Meta is very close if not over the evil threshold, but pretends or conveniently seems to undermine this fact.
Other than that though, the book was good, and I highly recommend it to anyone into nerdy books like I am.
Here's a list of possible errors I think I found for you to correct Alex Schultz, and my apologies if they are not. As an author myself, I love it when people point out mistakes in my book so that I may fix them. These were all found in the hardcover physical book:
