Tyler

I’ve found my heart, my everything, but then he had a one-shot to follow his dream. So he left and took my heart with him. I love Jace. So freaking much. But hiding our relationship from the public to boost his career is harder than I expected. I get it. He’s following his dreams. But I have a dream as well; acing my degree, getting that damn trophy this year, and scoring an NFL contract even if I die trying. Adding in the long distance between Jace and me, the boyfriend-chasing famous rockstar, and all this uncertainty about our future? Yeah, I might be holding on by a thread here.

At least I have my ducks. But being a duck-dad on a campus full of students who excel in making stupid decisions might not be the best decision ever.

Jace

I’m doing it. I’m living it. I’m breathing it. Dreams can come true.

Making music, performing for thousands of fans, touring around the country with my band… It is amazing. However, it’s not all sunshine, daisies and ducks. Because when the frontman of the band you're opening for can’t handle rejection, your heart is miles away and you sense it drifting, and it's not ducks but your past biting you in the ass, everything gets messed up.

I just hope that I didn’t make the worst decision of my life by leaving Ty.

TYLER is the second book in a full-length MM trilogy romance and continues the dreams of Tyler & Jace. It is essential to read 'JACE' first. TYLER is a lovers-to-long-distance-lovers, medium-burn, high-steam sports and rock star romance.

If you love banter, don’t mind the occasional duck wandering around in the story, and are a sucker for long love stories revolving around the same couple–including shenanigans from their loving, idiotic friends–then pick this series up!

N. Boeyer grew up in a tiny country called the Netherlands. She has been bilingual since she couldn’t wait for the Dutch translations of her favorite books, so she taught herself English. This resulted in her pursuing an English education from the age of twelve, and writing stories followed shortly thereafter. Since she was a teenager, it has been her dream to be a writer, and a writer she has always been at heart.

It took her a while to accept that the pretty boys who talk way too much in her head needed a voice, and her love for queer romance grew bigger with every written word and chapter. She has finally found the guts to share her boys with the world and hopes someone out there will love them as much as she does.

Did I stay up until 4am to finish this straight after I finished book 1? Absolutely!!!

I can't get enough of Jace and Tyler and I'm so happy there's another book to come.

The long distance was brutal but I loved how they were so solid and trusted each other completely. I loved the end of this book so much too and I'm so excited to see where it picks up in the next book.

Jace has achieved his dreams and I'm so anxious to see Tyler achieve his next!

I didn't like Mick at all and I wish he wasn't so prominent and that Jace had felt safe enough to speak up, but it was also great seeing how sure Jace and Tyler are of each other.

Looking forward to Kings and I cannot wait for Lamar's story too!

Ma’am you could write out your grocery list and I’d still eat it up! I love these two so so much, I am obsessed! Their journey, growth, and the love between them was everything!

This is book 2 in a trilogy, you gotta read JACE first, and it was perfect. I felt for both of them because they had to be away from each other while Jace was on tour, you could literally feel how much they missed each other. But they did the dang thing! I really loved the communication and the trust these two had. Seriously, couples goals. They had a lot of factors that could have really hurt their relationship (ahem, Mick 🙄) but they continued to choose one another every time and I think it brought them closer together. I seriously had those warm fuzzy feelings for 98% of this book. The other 2%? I was mad at Mick for trying to ruin something so beautiful.

I’m so looking forward to book 3, I’m hoping we get to see our boy Ty chase his dreams too. I also need more of Lamar’s shenanigans!

Thank you GRR and the Author for the copy of this book, this is my honest review.

I've been waiting over a year for this book and although it felt like forever the wait was worth it! Jace and Tyler are the absolute sweetest. Together and to eachother. I absolutely hate Mick and all of his selfishness.... He tried so hard to come between my boys. I can't wait for the next book and I really hope we get a Lam book because I absolutely adore that man hahaha

I know Kings is coming and it's more Tyler and Jace and im not mad about it lol BUT im greedy and I want a Lamar book and one of Tyler's brother too 😜

Finally the second book of Tyler and Jace's love story. In the previous book Jace was about to leave with his friends for a tour with a very famous band who wanted them opening their concerts, while Tyler was still at Summerset University ready to attend his last year of College.

The story navigates through the challenges to keep their relationship alive, to love each other from afar, to stay strong despite the distance.
Both of them try very very hard to remain emotionally close with phone calls, texts, videos, even if they miss one another so much and crave physical proximity. They had a very solid sexual and emotional chemistry when they first start dating and the absence is making things very difficult.

Moreover, Mick, the lead singer of the other band, has been coming onto Jace very hard to the point that the man is uncomfortable and tired to deal with the arrogant rockstar.

I found Tyler's character so very well written: his determination to support Jace in living his dream, his confidence that his lover would never cheat on him, his dedication to his own career and especially all the emotional tolls he endured by seeing jace in close proximity with Mick and reading all the rumors about them spread by the fans (and enabled by the label).

What prevented me from giving a higher rate:
I adore the chemistry and the banter between Jace and Tyler, but I think that the physical scenes were too long.
Mick's constant nuisance could have been stopped way sooner, before turning into harassment. I felt like Jace himself took the situation too lightly, he should have asked his agent and his father to help him with the label in order to stop them to unsettle his personal life. Instead they were all passively accepting that narrative.

Honestly, I think that Mick could have a very good redemption arc: it's clear that he has bigger problem and maybe there's also a certain someone who could help him.
I'm also craving Lamar's book: I'm so very happy the author is building his bisexual awakening up. He's a great character and I can't wait for him to have his own story.

I'm very curious about Tyler's imminent draft and I hope we'll have the third book soon.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and this is my honest review.

Sigh, swoon, smile repeat.. that’s what I was doing while gobbling up this book. N Boeyer you outdid yourself, I wasn’t sure I could love these two anymore but together they just dug in deeper into my heart.

This story takes off right after where Jace left off, exploring and driving from an HFN to an HEA. First off the absolutely healthy sweet authentic communication in this story so chef’s kiss, secondly these two are HOT discovering all the ways the pent up desire from being miles apart and meeting for short bursts can be released and third and most importantly the pining, good god the pining is so so so sublime, specially because they are in it together.

Jace and Tyler are apart for the summer they have months to get through while just seeing each other for a few days here and there so they hold tight to each other get past a horrifying Mick and get very very creative wink wink to make it through to the other side to their HEA. I am just unbelievably excited for KINGS, I can’t wait to read more, I am curious about Lamar and Rafa and Ev and also strangely Mick.. so curious what happened there.

Tyler & Jace ugh they’re just so gooey. I cannot deal. I loved them in Jace and couldn’t wait for the 2nd book. I was not disappointed.

My heart ached for these two. Long distance relationships are hard. Add in busy schedules and outside drama and it makes it even harder. Tyler & Jace’s relationship is beautiful. Their communication was everything. The way they stood by each other and had each other's backs was everything. The love they have for each other is mushy, gooey and just absolute devotion. Think of the sweetest dessert you’ve ever had and multiply it, that’s what their love is like.

Lamar’s antics are my absolute favorite. Everyone needs a bestie like Lamar. I really hope he gets his own book! *fingers crossed*

Patrice, Patrick and Meatball are the best animal friendship trio. I hope to see more of them in the next book!

I absolutely adored this story! I truly loved coming back to Tyler and Jace and seeing them navigating this next step of life for them. Jace is getting to live his dream as his band has taken off, been signed, on opening on tour for a big name. Things are going very well for them in that respect and the tour was extended and they now have their own bus. But things aren't all sunshine and rainbows as plans have changed and Tyler and Jace are now navigating a long distance relationship early than they expected. They are solid but the distance is hard, when they were used to being together like they were and they had summer plans that now aren't happening. Jace is also dealing with the lead singer of the band they are opening for not taking no for an answer very well. He keeps pushing and pushing and making comments, touches and forced proximity. The record label doesn't want Jace to admit his relationship with Tyler and wants him to let the rumors swirl to take advantage of the speculation about the two frontmen being together and they are playing that up with the way things are angled and photographed and the touches that Mick continues to push. I love the open communication that Tyler and Jace have. Jace tells Ty what is happening and what Mick is doing so that things don't come as a surprise to him with the media or anything else. The solid friendship they built before things went romantic for them give them a solid base to fall back on with the struggles and obstacles they are dealing with now. I love how they both make time for each other, even on the crazy and busy tour Jace is. I love how the bandmates are so supportive as well as Lamar. They are both so supportive and want the other to have and live their dream and are determined to do that together. This story was well written and I really enjoyed seeing these two stay strong together and work through all the issues that pop up and their creative ways of making it through. They have a great found family with their friends as well that make a difference with the support that is offered. I really and truly can't wait for the next book and am soo glad that we get to see more of these two and I can't wait to see more of their friends as well and I really, really need Lamar's story as well! Can't wait to see where that goes!
I truly adored this story and these characters and was fully engaged from beginning to end and am not ready to leave them yet!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I read Jace, book 1 in the serie, in august of last year and I've been thinking about Jace and Tyler at least once a week since. To say I was excited for this book would be an understatement and I was not disappointed. It was everything I was hoping for! The story picked up where the last book ended. Jace going away to be part of a tour and Tyler has to stay behind. They have months to get through before they could be together again.

The thing I liked the most in this book is the communication between both characters. Instead of having a million things coming between them and creating unnecessary drama, it's more a us against the world kind of story. The drama is coming from outside and not on the inside like I see in a lot of books. It's very refreshing. But on the other side, the struggle with having a long distance relationship and how it's not easy was perfectly demonstrated. It's not all sunshine and butterfly. The characters are well written and very three-dimensional.

You feel everything when you read this story. The chemistry between the characters, the pinning and longing to be together and their love. They're not afraid to dream but not at the expend or their relation. They choose each others every time and it was so beautiful to read.
I'm talking about the love and swooning part, but the chemistry and spicy scene are fire too.

I also loved the found family aspect. Jace and Tyler are part of a bigger group of friends and they are worth everything. Each of them brings something special into the book and I would read thousand of pages on them. Lamar has a special place in my heart and I can't wait to see what the future hold for all of them in book 3.

N. Boeyer found ways to create a beautiful story, that is funny, angsty and swonny with characters that you get attached to very fast. It will be a favorite of the year for sure!

I adored being back with Tyler and Jace. After falling for them in Jace, I was both nervous and excited to see how they’d handle long distance, fame, temptation, and everything else life was throwing at them—and wow, this book delivered.

This is a story about love holding strong, even when everything around you is shifting. Tyler is finishing his last year of college while Jace is living his dream on tour with his band… but that dream comes with complications. Enter Mick—the rockstar lead singer who doesn’t understand boundaries—and a label that wants to market Jace as “mysteriously available.” Cue the drama, the forced proximity, and a media storm of speculation.

But the heart of this book? It’s Tyler and Jace’s absolute devotion to each other. The way they communicated so openly and honestly had me swooning. They made time for each other. They trusted each other. They had hard moments, but they never lost sight of what they meant to one another. It was emotional, romantic, and oh-so-fulfilling to watch them weather the storm together.

Tyler’s strength and quiet confidence absolutely shone in this book. His unwavering belief in Jace, even when the rumors got nasty, just hit me right in the heart. And Jace—he never let the glitz and pressure of fame pull him away from the person who grounded him most.

What to expect:

- Lovers to Long Distance Lovers
- Rockstar x Footballer
- Established couple navigating fame
- Communication goals
- Adorable animal cameos
- Found family & fierce friendship
- Sweet, sexy, and emotionally rich

This book is for everyone who believes love takes work, sacrifice, and late-night FaceTimes. It’s a heartfelt continuation of a couple you can’t help but root for—and I’m already counting down to what’s next in this world.

It feels so good to be back home with Tyler and Jace. I fell in love with these two when I read “Jace” last year, and couldn’t wait for more of these two and their ridiculous and loving friends.

NOTE: YOU MUST READ BOOK ONE

“Tyler” picks up right after Book One with Jace and his band living their dream touring on the road. Meanwhile, Tyler is back home getting ready for his senior year of college and hoping to make it to the NFL. We go through the emotions with these two as they work on conquering long distance. Which they soon find out isn’t easy because the constant changing time zones and crazy schedules make it even harder to find time for each other. But let me tell you, Tyler and Jace are soulmates and these two will do whatever they can to stay together. Even if rumors begin flying about Jace and the lead singer from another band. Nothing can come between these two and you’ll fall even more in love with them because of it.

Every once in a while I love reading a series that follows a couple, and this series has become one of my favorite summer reads. I can’t wait for Book Three to see where their relationship goes, as well as, future books of the gang. I honestly love all the characters and just want to squeeze them all. If you’re looking for a feel good read with a rockstar and footballer, along with a cast of meddling friends, definitely read this one!

Tyler - N. Boeyer
♾️/5

I don’t even know where to start with this book. When I read Jace, it was great, but Tyler’s book was everything I didn’t know I needed until it was laid out in front of me.

First off, Lamar is just so hilarious. From the animals… I cannot believe he stole a guinea pig… to the crazy gifts and even when he was in the kitchen with his pants down. It was hilarious when Tyler and Lamar found out that Patrick was a girl and Patrice was a boy. I died laughing at the Tyler gift that Lamar got Jace. I was dying laughing during that whole scene. I need to see more of what else Lamar comes up with.

Also, Mick’s a damn douche and I hope he gets what he deserves in the next book because I need to see him grovel for forgiveness for what he did to Tyler and Jace.

The way that these two make long distance work is couple goals. They are just the sweetest and I was here for every moment that they gave us. The spice was so spicy and I just wanted more from these two.

And ohmygod, the ending was so perfect. I knew that Tyler was going to do something crazy and it was so perfect. Tyler and Jace’s moments of “tell me something new” or “tell me something sweet” were so endearing.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

This is book #2 in the Summerset Shore University series. You HAVE to read Jace first, because this is a continuation of that book & will make absolutely no sense without it.

"Tyler" is about how Tyler & Jace handle being apart when Jace goes off to tour with his rock band while Tyler stays home for his last year of college to continue playing football. They really, really miss each other, and there's plenty of spice when they do manage to get together. Most of the drama revolves around things being unpleasant for Jace when dealing with one of the members of the band they're opening for. And there's plenty of angst because they miss each other. Of course, it all works out for them in the end.

Loved Jace & Tyler's relationship, loved the side characters (hope to see more books about some of them), enjoyed the plot. I think the 2nd book might have been slightly better than the first - I certainly read it faster. Really looking forward to book#3 to see how the author wraps everything up.

I really didn't see this coming. After book 1, Jace, which was a beautiful book. An indie writer and a Dutch writer at that. Am I proud, yes, of course. Jace, the story of the Dutch man who goes to America to study and play his music together with his bandmates and friends. The story keeps you busy and then there is book 2, Tyler's story. His side of the story and his life and love for Jace. The story is as old as the world, but still. These two people really have to fight for what they want. Happiness, love and the right to be together in a world that already has a certain idea. I really enjoyed this story, a story that keeps you on your toes and doesn't let you stop. I really had to fight with myself to put the book down and go to sleep. I can say that this book, no, these two books, are certainly a gem for me. And I am very curious about the stories of the other friends. It's really going to be an exciting year for this writer. I firmly believe that we should really keep an eye on this writer. And yes, I am a bit biased, but let's face it, weren't these wonderful stories.

I really wanted to like this more, but I just... didn't.

For a book titled "Tyler," I expected more, you know, Tyler. Virtually everything revolved around Jace. Again. Even when we *finally get around to discussing Tyler's life the last, oh, twenty pages or so, the story still seemed to cycle back around to Jace. I mean, damn.

Also, some of their responses to certain plot points baffled me. Tyler was almost too accommodating and tolerant with, well, everything. There wasn't enough conflict for situations where normal people ought to struggle significantly more than they did.

I don't know. It was too much Jace and the band. Not enough NFL bound quarterback. Too much sugary sweetness. Not enough drama considering all the plot-driven drama. There was little to no consideration about coming out which is crazy for a college dude about to go pro.

Hopefully, Kings will bring things back to the sort of storytelling I loved in the first book.

Narrative: 📕📘📗📓📒
Angst: Moderate
Spice: 🍌🍌🍌🍌
Humor: 🦆🦆🦆
Heart: 🍟🍟🍟🍟
Romance: 🍆🍑🍆🍑🍆
Burn Time: Moderate

This continuation is everything.

After the first book we know what we should expect but with each building chapter of this book your on the edge of your seat waiting for what hurdles are going to be next. Throw Mick into the mix, along with long distance, and aching want to create angsty turmoil that sizzle all the way through.

The ending is perfect and if Boeyer were to stop there it would be fine, but as she always delivers, there is a promise of a third and final book so hopefully we will find out about Tyler's NFL career.

Also loved learning a bit of Dutch slang "kut"

“Come on,” I say, rolling my eyes. “It’s eight a.m. The city’s barely awake. Who’s gonna mob us, a power- walking grandma?” “She could have pepper spray and a YouTube channel,” Ev mutters.

GAAAHHH!!!!! Tyler was just as good as the first book, Jace! I enjoyed every second of it. Sometimes when I'm reading I get bored and need to take a breather from reading so I can then refocus, but this story kept me hooked the entire time. I really, really love these two. I cannot WAIT to read more in this series. I absolutely LOVE when BOTH characters are equally in love. What I mean is that it's sometimes just one character who is open to showing affection while the other might be more quiet about their feelings and hesitant to express them. Both Jace and Tyler are adorably open with their love and I cannot get enough of them. I will gladly continue reading about their lives as well as the lives of the other characters in this wonderful series. Lamar is an absolute delight. I cannot wait to read more about his shenanigans. I highly recommend this series.

This is the second book in there series and it is essential to have read the first book. I love Tyler and Jace and how they each put the other first. They are so sweet and hot together. This book mainly focuses on how the two deal with being separated while Jace's band is on tour as the opening act for a well known band. They do their best with phone calls/face timing and stolen weekends. It was so sad to see how much Tyler missed Jace, and how Jace had to deal with his record company trying to push him into a relationship with Mick who is the lead singer for the headlining band. Jace also has to walk a fine lie of rejecting Mick's advances and yet staying in his good graces. I loved seeing all of the band members again and Yelp's best friend, Lamar and his crazy antics. This book was definitely worth the wait, and Im anxiously awaiting the next book.

Crossroads, make you think. Tyler and Jace, love each other in high school. Tyler is a football powerhouse and Jace is a rock musician. When they left school, they pursued higher education and careers that took them away from each other. Tyler, climbed into the closet to protect Jace's rock star career. When they were at the pinnacle of their respective careers, their long distance relationship takes on a new aura. Jace is being harrassed and forced to endure a PR nightmare. They have to reset priorities, rethink goals and reevaluate their relationship. Open communication, facilitates keeping the relationship from tanking. The author, has done an amazing job creating a real world crisis that highlights the character and resilience of Tyler and Jace. Absolutely likeable main characters. The villan is a jerk. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

'... pressing my mouth to Ty’s again, cupping his face, fingers sliding over that delicious stubble. I’m done talking for now. I just want to feel. I need him. My man, my world, my life. I don’t give a - who sees it.
... I feel like I can finally exhale, breathe for the first time in weeks.
It’s everything, it’s ecstatic, it’s mine and more.
Home. He’s my home.'

I loved the first book, which I read right before this, so yay for binge reading! Long distance relationships are never easy, and in spite of how supportive these two are for each other, there are still obstacles, some drama, and the actual distance. But these two continue to have such a strong foundation, and a great support system from friends and family. The chemistry between them continues to burn bright. I still can't get enough of these two. And that ending! *Heart eyes* I can't wait until their next book! 5 stars.

The second book is finally here!
I was eagerly awaiting this book and it did not disappoint. I simply love these characters, the story and the writing.
Jace and Tyler are sooo perfect for each other and I can't wait what book 3 has in store for them.
Besides the main characters, I adore Lamar. Please give us a book with him as a MC!

Book 2 starts a few month after book 1. Jace is on tour with his band and Tyler is getting ready for his last season as the starting Quarterback for his college. The separation wears on them and new challenges and outside influences arise.
This book follows the journey on how Jace and Tyler try to navigate all.
And I couldn't put it down. It's that good!

Please read "Jace" first before you read this one. It is not a standalone.

I was really looking forward to the next instalment in the lives of Jace and Tyler, and it was definitely worth the wait. These books are a great combination of humour (including some definite Dutch influences), more serious themes, and a palpable deep relationship between the MCs. There are a lot of great characters around them, adding extra enjoyment and support. The guys let themselves be vulnerable and admit to mental health struggles, and work so hard to stay together despite all the odds. There are a lot of potential books to continue this series, and I'm sure that they will be just as good.

Thank you for the book, here is my honest opinion:
First, I loved the first book, which was an impressive debut with unusually real and authentic characters. Jace and Tyler are pretty special, so I was looking forward to continuing their story. I love the idea of being able to follow the same couple across the series, that’s pretty rare. I generally hate rock star romances, so I was a bit bummed that there was so much focus on that world. The writing is honestly amazing, and I’m very invested in these characters, but I really was a bit bored by all the tired rock star bs. That being said, I’m all in on this couple, and what a treat to see them dig in and fight together!

Great continuation of the series

Jace and Tyler are finally together but now they have some obstacles to overcome.
Jace is on the road pursuing his rock star dreams and time and distance are making things hard.
Not to mention a front man who won't take no for an answer and management who want Jace to hide his relationship.
Tyler is really struggling but thankfully they're both committed and really communicate so well and work hard towards making this relationship work.
Lamar is back with his shenanigans and I'm so ready for his story.
The ducks are adorable and I loved the found family aspect.

The author has done a wonderful job of creating two characters in Tyler and Jace whose lives we want to follow and whose relationship we want to see succeed. This book has them separated as Jace tours living his dream and Tyler works on successfully finishing his last year of college and hoping for the call from the NFL. Their struggles with distance and loneliness as well as Jace's difficulty with another rocker were realistically depicted as were the problems caused by the band's PR folks and record label who want a very specific narrative for Jace that does not include Tyler. Can't wait for the third book in the series!

This book has been a long time coming but it's worth every minute that I waited to read it. Jace and Tyler are so different but just go together so well. This story continues from the first book Jace (must read first) and spends a lot of time from Tyler's POV. Love that he and Jace are on the same page. What Jace is dealing with is well written and one just wants to see the two of them get a HEA. It will be interesting to see what the third book in the series brings but I hope it doesn't take as long to get here.

I absolutely devoured this book! The dynamics between Jace and Tyler had me hooked again from the first page. They're just too cute together. It focusses on their long distance relationship, and all the hurdles they have to face. Lots of banter, moments that had me on the edge of my seat, and a side character written so well I hated him. I could really feel everything the boys went through.
The ending was the ending I hoped for, and I cannot wait to read how their story continues!

p.s. Lamar does deserve his own story, even more after reading book two ;)

I am loving the way this series is flowing. It this book that I have been patiently waiting for, we get to spend a lot more time in Tyler's POV. I enjoyed getting to know him and all his teammates. Especially Lamar! What a goof! Bet he gets a book! I also enjoyed experiencing on the road with Jace and the challenges he faced. It was a very realistic journey of these two young guys getting started in the world and despite distance holding each other together. And let me say when they held each other it was smoking hot!

Okay, I am so annoyed that the third book isn't available yet! I neeeeeeeed to see the HEA for these two! I kept dreading the "inevitable breakup", but it NEVER HAPPENED. I love how in this series they face challenges as a couple, but they work through them TOGETHER! It's so refreshing to see a couple communicating openly and honestly with each other about their fears and insecurities. I'm very much looking forward to the promised fluff in the final book! :D

A sweet read but to get the full impact to Jace and Tyler, be sure you have read book one. These two men are in a relationship, a long distance one. I love how it is their relationship and navigating this distance that centers the plot, not some outside influence. They show that with trust and open communication you can make it work. In short, no matter what, their love is always front and center in this book. I also love a book where we get to see characters like these grow, mature and develop as people (sorta like real life). I did recieve an ARC and leave this honest review.
