I’m THE Hunter Hawkins. I’m sure you’ve heard of me. Billionaire at age 30 and one of the most famously eligible bachelors on the planet. I rule my little empire from my corner office in Manhattan overlooking Fifth Avenue. I have everything I want and more, yet despite that…I’m restless and bored. Perhaps even lonely.
Always a risk taker, I go out on a limb and decide to fly alone to Ketchikan, Alaska to research and prepare a pitch for investment in a family-owned business named Badd’s Bar and Grille. I don’t want all of their company—I don’t even want a piece of it. I just want the challenge of convincing them to let me be a part of what they’ve got going on.
It turns out the business side of things is the easy part.
The hard part? Delia Badd.
She may be the last woman on earth to know who I am, and she’s beautiful, bold, witty, sarcastic, fascinating…and allergic to love and commitment.
I always get everything I want…
AND I WILL GET HER TO FALL FOR ME.
* * *
A gorgeous, arrogant man breezes into my bar one day and captures my attention the moment I lay eyes on him, but I’m not looking for love.
My best friend and adopted sister, Emerson, claims the infamous Badd Family Love Charm is coming for me next; the joke’s on her, though, because I will not let that happen.
I have clinically awful taste in men, for one thing. And for another, I refuse to be the first person in my family to screw up love. I mean, look at our track record. Every adult in my family has met, fallen in love, and found happily ever after when the Love Charm strikes. You can’t screw something up if you refuse to let it happen in the first place, right?
So yeah, no matter how hot this “Hawk” may be, no matter how rich he obviously is, no matter how scorching, mind-altering, and life-changing our physical chemistry may be, I’m dead-set on one

Who'd ever think we'd read about the Badd family next generation? Loved this surprise and I know we're going to get more of them!! This is the story about Delia and her turn with the "Badd family love charm" . But sometimes charm takes awhile to set in.
This one was just ok for me. Part of it was Hawk, he turned me off with his thinking he was all that. I enjoyed that Delia threw him off from the first meeting and how she reacted to things. I really liked Delia, up until she freaked out running scared and then hid away, not really in character for her, as a bad ass bitch.
There were some highlights, Hunter getting come to Jesus talks from Sebastian and Harriet and even his new PA. He needed to hear those things and made good choices after letting all the info sink in. His new path in life seemed to fit him more.
The surprise trip towards the end was so over the top I kept rolling my eyes as I read. It didn't seem believable to me. I was glad that they worked things out and ended up on the same page.
It has been quite a while since I finished the last book relating to the Badd family (Emerson's story) and I really recommend reading book 19 before this one. Honestly, knowing all the Badd stories and the Goode series is in your best interest... and I am glad I own and have enjoyed them all.
Delia Badd is the daughter of Bast and Dru - the "original" couple that started it all. She is a force to be reckoned with, and quite capable of handling her life. I really appreciated the spunky attitude and behaviors that she owns! Such an entertaining character. Unfortunately, she is ill-prepared for her attraction to Hunter; a visitor to the town. Hunter/Hawk is a billionaire, used to success in all aspects, and he has plans and business ideas to pitch to Bast, about his bar and brand. Unfortunately, he didn't count on Delia, or his attraction to her.
My fingers couldn't turn the pages fast enough! Dropping back into this world that I love was wonderful. These characters are easy to connect with and enjoy. The writing flows well, and it is easy to lose yourself, and track of time, so plan accordingly. 😉
I highly recommend this author and series. It's definitely worth your time to read the series (and the Goode series) in order for the best experience. I am so happy to know that there are more things coming to this Alaskan family.
When the Wilders mentioned a new book in the Badd world, I was a little skeptical. My experience with other authors who embark on adding stories of the next generation from the original stories, well..it's either "hit" or "miss". This was a hit!
Delia Badd the oldest daughter of Sebastian and Dru Badd. I love her spunk, her determination and I love, LOVE how she is the perfect balance of her parents. But she is her own person, her own mind and has her path. Then.. enter Hunter. A man who gets what he wants, until he meets Delia.
Badd Apple has the perfect balance of banter, heat and heart. I love the chemistry between Delia and Hunter. I love seeing Sebastian Badd as a dad. I also appreciated how the fast forward of time is imaginative realistic. *You'll need to read it to understand what's that about*
Giving more details is giving the story away, and I am not about doing spoilers. I enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to what the next generation of Badd has to offer. This is a must read.
Holy spice!! Book 20 in the Badd series did not disappoint! Welcome back to Alaska!
While it is not necessary to read all of the previous books in this series, I HIGHLY recommend reading all of them as this is a “second generation” and I think you may enjoy it more. Plus, who wouldn’t want to get to know all of these men on a deeper level?!
For anyone that has enjoyed the previous 19 books, jump in and enjoy. For everyone else, pick up the first book and prepare to swoon or jump right into this book and then go back to the beginning….your choice!!🤷🏼♀️
Either way hold on tight and I’ll see you in Alaska!! 😉
I was so sad when the original Badd Brothers ended. I am sooo excited that we are now getting more of my favorite family with the next gen!
Delia is a Badd A$$ ( see what I did there). I love her fire! She knows what she wants when it comes to her family and she can take care of herself. And then there’s Hawk, 🤤🥰.
I loved the little surprises in this book and as we hopefully get more Badd books I’m looking forward to more surprises.
Badd Apple is the next generation of the Badds. What you loved about the first generation of the Badds continues with Delia Badd, Sebastian and Drew’s daughter. She is carrying on the family business running the Badd Kitty bar. She is a real sexy spitfire who knows how to handle herself yet seems to be more than others can handle. That is until the sexy, rich “out of towner” Hawk comes into her bar. Wow, oh wow what a combination these two are. Neither Hawk or Delia were prepared for the attraction and over the top chemistry they had. Get ready for the roller coaster that they go on when secrets, fears and insecurities make their relationship seem impossible. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough!
Loved Badd Apple Book 20 Next Generation Age gap Standalone
You don’t need to read the previous books before this. I would still read them at some stage. This was perfect. This follows Delia the daughter of one of the Badd Brothers. One night she is working at one of the bars the family owns when a stranger walks in. He is trying to blend in to Ketichkan a town in Alaska.
Holyyyy spice! First of all I had no idea this series was going to continue with the next generation and I was ecstatic when I saw she wrote another Badd book and Wowzers, she did not disappoint. I devoured this book in one sitting! I’m so excited the series continues!!
I absolutely loved this book! We're taken back to Ketchikan with a second generation BADD and she's a real bad ass!! Delia is smart mouthed, witty and full of surprises. Hawk is a billionaire playboy who I just love! Together they are FIRE!!!
So excited this series is back! Absolutely loved this book! I cannot wait for the next book and to see what happens next! Highly recommend!! This series is so good!!
OMG! Another Badd!! I always wanted more from the series and now were getting more also get to go back to Alaska EEEEEEK. I can't wait to dive in and meet Delia.
Steamy, sexy, off the charters chemistry between Hawk & Delia. I love diving into more of the Badd clan. I really enjoyed the tip into their lives and how wrapped up everyone is becoming.

The Badd family is one of my favorites and I was excited to see them return! Getting an update on the family while welcoming new characters is always fun for me. You don’t need to have read the previous books in the series, but it does make it more enjoyable to know those characters. Maybe one day I will make it to Ketchikan, lol.
I remember reading the original Badd brothers so long ago, so this is crazy that I’m now reading the second generation. This book focuses on Dru and Sebastian’s daughter Delia, and business man Hunter. In the original Badd brothers, they owned a bar and as more people joined their family, they expanded. In this book, Delia is being trained to take over, and she works hard to earn her spot. Hunter is a business man new to the town, and though he’s successful, he’s bored with life at the moment. He likes the Badd family and their empire, and wants to be a part of it, but he keeps his identity a secret and that causes some real problems between him and Delia.
I really enjoyed this story and am absolutely excited to read more. Sometimes I think the female characters are a little crass and that kind of takes me out of the story. I think Delia can be strong and not so vulgar. Her actions towards the end really shows how young she is, and she makes some immature decisions that pulls them apart, though I don’t think Hunter made it any easier for them to get together either. There is a happy ending, so I love that the Badd family love gets to continue with these two.
Delia is Sebastian and drus daughter and set to take over the family business when bast retires. Hunter is a billionaire playboy from New York who is bored with his work and his life. He sees an opportunity to invest in the badds businesses as one of the bars, the one in anchorage, is floundering. So he travels to Alaska and hangs out at the badd establishments. He watches Delia tend bar and run the joint like the boss she is and is immediately attracted to her. They fool around and then after a few weeks he pitches a proposal to her dad. Things get too hot and too heavy for Delia when she realizes she’s in love with hunter so she runs away. Bast takes hunter up on his deal and Delia moves to anchorage to fix the restaraunt there. After six months of no contact, bast calls hunter and convinces him to woo his daughter because she’s miserable and hunter is miserable. So hunter steps down as ceo of his own company, sells off half of it and invests in a space program that Xavier is involved with. To get Delia back he literally flies her to space and proposes to her. 3 years later they have a baby that they bar after her dad.

As well as all of the feels to go with it! The Badd boys of Ketchikan grew up and watch out world because they had children of their own. Move over Badd Boys because there’s a Badd girl on the loose. Desperately trying to avoid the Badd Love Charm because that’s way too much pressure.
Delia Badd is Bast and Dru’s eldest daughter she’s walking in her father’s footsteps literally and figuratively. A general manager for the Badd franchise she runs Badd Kitty. Cue Hunter “Hawk” Hawkins multi millionaire and a bit of a bad boy player himself. He’s bored and looking for a challenge something he has no previous hands on experience with. He went to Alaska to pitch an investment opportunity to the Badd CEO, but before he could he saw the Badd girl first. His golden rules are about to be broken, don’t mix business and pleasure and do not fall in love. Unsurprisingly, Delia Badd is trying to follow the same set of rules.
This series is an absolute joy, you don’t just read them you be become part of it.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 20th book in The Badd Brothers series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. I have only read one other book from this series, and I didn't have any issues reading this one as a standalone. Delia runs Badd Kitty bar & grille. She takes no crap from anyone and will gladly put take down anyone, especially if they touch her without permission. She has been told she is a lot and she would agree. No man has ever been able to keep up with her or challenge her until Hawk. Hunter is a well-known billionaire bachelor from New York. He has everything he could ever need, which has left him bored. He needs a new business adventure, and he thinks he's found the perfect one in Alaska of all places. I am going to have to go back and read some more of the Badd family. I just love them.
Hunter Hawkins is on his way to Ketchikan Alaska to look into buying or investing in a family owned bar that’s owned by the Badd family. He just needs a challenge he’s bored. Being a billionaire and achieving what he set out to do now he needs a challenge. That’s when he meets Delia she’s the bartender/ manager but also a Badd. They start flirting with each other she doesn’t know he’s there to buy into the family business but soon it’s hot and Heavy. Then when it all comes out who he is why he’s there and now what he’s wants and the includes her she is to scared to grab hold so she runs. But they both are miserable. So he will make changes in his life and make a grant gesture to win her back. And she will have to face her fears. So enjoy another great read!!
I love Jasinda Wilder and I absolutely adore the Badd series. The first half of this book was absolute perfection and everything I've come to love about this series. Around the half way book it lost a little 'shine' IMO. Firstly, the FMC Delia, started driving me bonkers with her second-guessing and fear of relationships. Her reasoning all felt too wishy washy for me and then seemed resolved too easily. Secondly, (and yes, I read the author's note at the start of the book) the futuristic aspect felt very out of place to me. Prior to this there had been no other indication of new developments/tech in the story. It felt very jarring and didn't seem to fit with the rest of the book. Overall I enjoyed the story and I had trouble putting it down and I will definitely be reading whatever else Wilder releases but this wasn't my favourite.
Badd Apple is book 20 in the Badd Brothers Series by Jasinda Wilder. This is Hunter Hawkins and Delia Badd’s story. I love this series and loved this book so much. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. What can you do when the Badd Family Love Charms hits you, well you just eventually give in. I melted when Hunter told her “I’ll give you the very stars in the sky, my love.” And she answered “but Hunter, I don’t need the stars. I just need you”. This is such and sweet, sexy, steamy read and I can’t recommend it enough.
This book centers around Bast's and Dru's daughter Delia. It also introduces Hunter Hawkins billionaire extraordinaire. He's run through women like a train on the horny track. She's had a slew of losers. They meet and the chemistry explodes. Between the hilarious banter and personal challenges it's an up and down emotional yo-yo. But it's also another incredibly delicious, entertaining, stay up all night to finish Badd book. So thrilled to meet the next generation of the Badd legacy. It just never gets old. Hoping there are a lot more Badd books in the near future.
Awesome read, in keeping with all the other books in the series. That being said, I only have one very small complaint - the whole rocket/spacecraft/space travel/space station senerio in the last part of the book. That whole senerio made no sense and was totally unnecessary. It added nothing to the story and was totally over the top and unbelievable. I know it's fiction, but at least make it believable to the story. Otherwise, it's a great read.
This is the 19th book in the Badd Brothers series. It is the second story of the new generation of the Badd family. It is the story of Sebastian and Dru’s daughter Delia and billionaire hunter Hawkins. Hunter is bored and wants to buy into the Badd family baes in Ketchikan, Alaska. Delia is the general manager and has wicked chemistry with Hunter. Basically good read, but I could have done without the side trip into outer space.
I really enjoyed this installment of the Badd series, and surprisingly it was my first book finished in 2026!
I loved the banter and power game between Delia & Hunter. Some parts you can skim over as it’s mainly rehashing the family tree.
Towards the end things got a little “out of this world” but it was fun & the author even put a note to not take it too seriously (because books ARE entertainment right?)
The next generation of Badd's. I like how you reference the original Badd's. Loved the conversation between Hawk and Bast. The things that Xavier is doing with his intelligence. That Harriet the hatchet is the new CEO. The new PA is moving in a direction that is right up her alley. And the epilogue, OMG, now cool that was.
Even more Badd to love! I was thrilled when I found out that the series was continuing, with the children being grownup now. Delia is quite the independent and bad-ass chick. Definitely one of a kind, and Hunter/Hawk was a perfect match in every way. Loved this book so much!
