Ughh. I was super excited for this book. I am very interested in working on a bedtime routine that is more mindful and relaxed. I just couldn't with this book. It's read by the author and I felt that either he was trying to justify why you should believe him or he was trying to sell me something. I didn't even finish it.
Changed my perspective of life and how to confront life, and low vibration and taught me that I am not my traumas, or I am not my past. I’m bigger than my body. The practices are out of this world. Recommend 100%
This book really isn't bad - and it has some decent ideas for meditation and journaling for self discovery. Unfortunately, to get the "full benefits" you need to go to the author's website and download the supplemental materials for EACH CHAPTER ( there are 21). This reminds me of another book where you have to buy a tool made and sold only by the author to get the benefits of the book. These are free but it still gives me an icky feeling.
This was a quick and practical read with simple 5-minute habits to improve sleep and wind down at night. I liked how easy the practices are, things like light stretches, gratitude journaling, and breathing exercises and how I could try them right away. It reminded me that building a bedtime routine doesn’t have to be complicated; even small rituals can make a big difference. Some tips felt familiar, but having them in one place motivated me to be more consistent.
I read this in one sitting, I saw myself in so many places. I follow alot of people tone Robbins for one bit I felt I was missing something. I feel so much and as an empath I tend to either run from emotions or I feel too much. Thank you so much I feel these techniques will heal me even more and show me the clearer path to live, be happy be whole.
I found the practices in this book a bit too out there for me. I’m not convinced by the life-changing anecdotes. I thought the text was fairly repetitive and I didn’t once download the content at the end of each chapter. I borrowed the ebook as a library loan and read it this afternoon. Lots of folks are waiting to borrow it; good luck!
Lots of relatable examples. And many practices that feel doable with little effort, without the need for unrealistic changes to one’s life. Definitely worth the read and just trying a few practices can affect a shift.
