When Marissa Greene’s sister, Chloe, calls her for help, she does something she never expected to ever do she returns to Mistletoe Valley. While growing up, their relationship was rocky, but maybe as adults, they can work together.
Reluctantly, Marissa agrees to help out. Tasked with running the trivia nights at the Double C Bar and Grille, she hopes to avoid a blast from her Connor Whitman. With a history of miscommunications and misunderstandings between them, they must work together to make the four trivia nights a success.
Can they put the past behind them and address the growing attraction between them, or will a fear of commitment pull them apart? Will Marissa and Connor find the love they’ve been chasing after, or will distance and work schedules end their relationship before it can fully begin?
Chasing Shamrocks is a sweet/clean, small-town romance. It is book two in a series of interconnected standalones.
The push-and-pull between the two main characters, Marissa and Connor, is well done. I love the communication between them because it's so rare to get that in books, at least that I've read. I also continue to love this little town and all its Holiday love in the form of fun and festivals.
