This was such a fun story with great banter, an epic quest with the highest of stakes and a love square where at different moments I was changing my mind on who I wanted the FMC to choose.
I really enjoyed this story. The plot was fast-paced, the characters were lovable and there are some fun twists and turns that made the story compelling. By the time it ended, I wanted about 30 more chapters. I am really looking forward to where the series takes us next.

The Enchanted Isles swept me away like a rogue tide—lush, unpredictable, and brimming with just enough danger, magic, and romantic mayhem to keep me hooked from start to finish.

From the very first page, Alycia E. Anderson crafts a world of shifting islands, magical trials, and ancient secrets that begs to be explored. The adventure is nonstop—riddles, betrayals, and heart-pounding twists that had me whispering “just one more chapter” well past midnight.

At the heart of it all is Vivienne, our fierce, brave, and slightly impulsive heroine, who finds herself in the middle of a love quad that is as chaotic as it is delicious:
• Lewis, her lifelong best friend, loyal to a fault and clearly harboring feelings he hasn’t quite confessed (but everyone can see it, Lewis).
• Cirrus, her ex-fiancé with royal charm and a dangerously unreadable agenda—do we trust him? Do she trust him? Jury’s still out.
• Owen, the broody pirate captain with a sharp tongue and even sharper cheekbones, who’s hiding more than just treasure below deck.
• And Vivienne, torn between past promises, present loyalties, and an uncertain future that keeps shifting beneath her feet—literally and emotionally.

Tropes you’ll love:
• Found family
• Love quad (and it’s delightfully messy)
• Magical trials and tests of character
• Exes with unresolved tension
• Best-friend-to-lover slow burn
• Broody pirate with a soft spot
• Secret identities & shocking betrayals

The magical trials were my favorite—each one uniquely dangerous and pushing Vivienne to her limits in surprising ways. And just when I thought I had things figured out? BAM. Plot twist. Alycia doesn’t pull punches when it comes to emotional stakes or gut-wrenching reveals.

Why not a full five stars? A couple of slower sections and a few emotional beats I wanted more from—but that didn’t take away from how fun and immersive this book was.

Thank you to Alycia E. Anderson and the publisher for the ARC! I had an absolute blast adventuring through the Isles with Vivienne and her chaotic crew—bring on book two!

“The Enchanted Isles” by Alycia E. Anderson was such a thrilling ride!

The main character gave me serious Evie-from-The Mummy vibes—a sheltered librarian who steps into an adventure and absolutely thrives. Watching her transformation into a confident, clever, and courageous heroine was such a joy. She saves the day more than once, and it’s so satisfying to see her grow into her power.

This story feels like an action-packed adventure movie set on a lush, mysterious jungle island, complete with a quest for a magical item to break an ancient curse. The pacing is exciting, with plenty of danger, mystery, and twists that kept me turning the pages.

And now… the romance! We’re not talking one, not two, but three swoon-worthy love interests. Each brings something different to the table, and it was honestly torture trying to guess who she’d end up with. Spoiler: the guy I was rooting for didn’t win… but since this is just the beginning of the series, there’s still hope! Each island holds a different artifact needed to break the curse, and more secrets are waiting to be uncovered—so the adventure (and maybe the romance?) is far from over.

It’s the kind of story that frustrates you in the best way, and I’m definitely in for the long haul.

Big thanks to NerdFam and the author for the gifted ARC—go check this one out if you love tropical adventures, strong heroines, and a dash of romantic drama

"I'd rather be furious with you than happy with anyone else."

The Enchanted Isles is book 1 of a new trilogy by Alycia E. Anderson. This story follows Vivienne Banner as she embarks on a voyage to uncover dark secrets and try to save her cursed kingdom.

Vivienne has not one, but three potential love interests in this story. And we aren’t talking why choose type of three love interests, but three swoon-worthy men who I can only assume she will choose between as the series continues. Hearts will be broken. Mostly mine.

The story starts by giving a detailed picture of Vivienne’s life and the kingdom where she lives. Once she sets sail on a voyage demanded by the king, the setting becomes a lush but dangerous rainforest island. There are unique creatures, high stakes, mysterious happening, action, and lots of flirtatious moments. You won’t find intense romance or spice in book one. The author has a video posted about this and how the relationships need more time to evolve in the next books.

This was an enchanting and engaging fantasy story and I will most definitely be continuing with this series.

Thank you to Alycia E. Anderson for the e-arc. All opinions are my own.

Thanks to The Nerd Fam for an early Arc copy. If you like Jumangi or Indiana Jones, then you will like this book. This book is super atmospheric, which I really enjoyed. I really enjoyed all the characters, which is rare for me. I felt like some of this book was slow and had a bit too much fluff. I would have liked to see more trials in the Jungle as that was the best part of the book. I will continue on with book 2

4 stars || Great banter, easy to read, and adventurous!!

A cursed kingdom, a treacherous voyage, and truths never meant to be uncovered was fully encompassed in this thrilling fantasy debut by Alycia E. Anderson!
My first compliment to this book is towards the banter between our main character, Vivienne, and everyone surrounding her! I found myself chuckling so many times when she and Lewis were verbally sparing! I thought it really humanized them and made me want to keep reading to see what Viv would say next!!
Another point of interest for me if the love triangle, love square?? I don’t even know and I want to keep reading this series purely to see what happens between Viv and the love interests we are introduced to! I feel like I’m likely team Owen.. we will see!! I loved that they all seem like amazing options for our fmc, but I’m also curious to see how they will all play a part in her love life and the epic adventure they are on!!
Next, I really like the different steps it seems the main quest of this book series will have! I found myself referring back to the lore that is shared near the beginning of the novel to see if I could clue out what the next steps will be!
This is an exciting, action-packed fantasy, and I highly enjoyed it!! I also enjoyed the villain- he is completely unhinged and I think that’s going to cause quite a bit more trouble for Viv and the crew in the next book- as they prepare for the next phase of their journey!

I only leaned toward 4 stars because I had some quarrels with the problems our characters encountered. I felt like many were solved rather quickly and by a matter of luck. I like that in some scenarios but felt like maybe they didn’t need to encounter quite so many if that’s how they were getting out of the problems the majority of times! Other than that, the story flowed elegantly and it felt very fleshed out!!

Thank you to The Nerd Fam and Alycia E. Anderson for the e-arc jb exchange for my honest review!!

4.25⭐️!! First I would like to say thank you to The Nerd Fam, I was so lucky to receive this book as an eARC and i couldn’t be more grateful!! This book was genuinely a phenomenal and fun read! It was giving me Pirates of the Caribbean vibes and i loved it! First let me just say that this book was written with such strategic detail. I genuinely could see the book in my head as i was reading, like a movie. Yes I can do this with all books, but THIS book was on a whole other level. The world building was so good, the characters and character development were so thought out, and the plot was plotting.
The FMC was a breath of fresh air, as well as her love interests, and the banter was bantering. There is all the tension and banter in this book as well!! I would recommend to all my fantasy readers!

Let’s just get it out of the way right here. There is not a single thing about this book that I would change. Period. Full stop. I devoured it in about 7 hours and it’s definitely one that I’m sad to see “end”. To turn the page after “the end” and see the title of book 2 is already released, well, let’s just say it immediately went on my books to watch for!

This is a story crafted for anyone who loved Pirates of the Caribbean, Treasure Island and or Atlantis! The world is rich and vivid, allowing the reader to fall into the story and traverse the island right along with Vivienne and the rest of the crew! There were so many elements of the story that I loved, such as the puzzle that is the song, the carvings trying to tell a story and the ultimate realization about what the island really is. I also thought the subtle hints to our direction at the start during the world building and meeting with the king were beautifully done.

Real talk regarding Vivienne. At first I was not impressed. I felt she was self centered and a tad oblivious to anything around her if it did not get her closer to her parents “acceptance”. I believe this was meant as a device to gain sympathy for her, but I just wanted to shake her and tell her to get over herself. LUCKILY, we only deal with THAT Vivienne for a few chapters and the moment she’s on the boat, she starts to realize there is a MUCH larger world around her and it does not revolve around her. As for the rest of the crew, I immediately loved so many of them! I loved picturing them in my head (absolutely pieced together from the crews in the movies above) and enjoyed all their antics. Ya’ll. The banter in this book is freaking GOLD, and not even just between our MC’s. Everyone has a little zinger here or there!

Lastly, the romance in this one is a beautiful sidekick to the main storyline, definitely there to tease and create tension, but not the motivator or only reason the story moves forward. I’m very curious to see how that bit unfolds more in the second book, knowing the declarations that came at the end of this one, but also having glimpses of others also having feelings for V they aren’t sure what to do with!

I am super excited for this voyage to continue and will anxiously be awaiting any news on book 2. Massive thank you to the author, Alycia E. Anderson and the team at NerdFam for the opportunity to read this as an eARC!

Pirates, curses, island adventure, love triangle, close proximity

Firstly thank you Alycia and Nerdfam for gifting me this copy!

Really enjoyed this story HOWEVER super annoyed with Vic’s choice at the end 😫 the banter was so good! So many times I literally laughed out loud lol. FMC’s BFF had such great lines. His snark and sass was spot on.

I really wanted to read a pirates romantasy and this fit the bill perfectly. It was balanced with action and adventure. Thoroughly enjoyed the story and can’t wait for book 2!

An action packed sea adventure! I was hooked from start to finish! A librarian on a voyage to find her missing parents. Theres an ex fiancé, her best friend and a commander on the same ship who all take an interest in her. They run into danger with some pirates, plants and creatures on these unexplored islands. It had me on the edge of my seat a few times! The FMC, Vivienne, kept reminding me of Evelyn from the movie The Mummy (1999), which is one of my favorite movies! I truly loved this book! If I could give this 6 stars, I would!

I want to thank the Author, Alycia Anderson for sending this eARC over to me! I loved every page of this book! It was so beautifully written. The way I was immersed in it, I can clearly picture every detail. The world building is on point and I can’t wait for book 2

Where do I even begin?! This book is a whirlwind of adventure, heart-pounding action, and one of the most electrifying takes on a magical quest l've read in a long time. A curse? Magical artifacts? A deadly journey? Sign me up.

And the love square? Absolute chaos, in the best way. The tension? Exquisite. The yearning? Delicious. Every stolen moment and forbidden touch had me devouring the pages. I was torn, chapter after chapter, between who I was rooting for. My heart was pulled in three different directions and I loved it. (I will say I am really leaning towards one though ) declarations of love? yes. a million times yes.

Don't even get me started on the scenes on the island.
Unhinged. Terrifying. Mesmerizing. I would not have lasted a day, but reading about it? Pure adrenaline.

This story is fast-paced, utterly addictive, and left me buzzing with anticipation for the next installment. I need answers. I need more. And I need it yesterday!

4.25 💫 of course rounding up for GR

A cover-to-cover thrill ride (or should I say pirate ship/adventure ride?) 🏴‍☠️

I had the opportunity to read this as an ARC thanks to The Nerd Fam and though I didn’t finish before it released, I followed through and I had the best time with this!

I was still in the throughs of a book hangover from SOTR when I picked this one up so it took me a bit to get into it but not because it was slow. This one grabs you immediately! We are immediately thrown into the story. Our FMC, Vivienne’s parents are lost at sea (presumed 😵) and she refuses to believe that. Her life long friend, Lewis, is the banter king and together they get themselves doomed to a journey to “explore” for the cure to the curse on their kingdom. Along the way we meet and grow to love everyone on the team! I could ramble on about the team for HOURS.

You have horrible royalty, cursed kingdoms, sailors, perilous journeys, romance subplot, unmarked territory, found family, broody MMCs, strong-willed FMC. Pretty much the makings for a good ass book.

The roots are strong with this one. There are heavy themes of Pirates of the Caribbean, below deck (iykyk), & just a good old high seas adventure.

We get:
⚓️ forced proximity
⚓️ love square
⚓️ cozy romance
⚓️ single pov (moments of other povs)
⚓️ unique magic system
⚓️ gods/goddesses
⚓️ sailors/captains
⚓️ myths that maybe aren’t as mythical as previously thought 👀

I just absolutely LOVED this one. The end has me in a chokehold!! Begging that my girl sees the light with someone else in book 2, but I’ll forgive her for now 😌

This book was gifted to me by TheNerdFam and the review below is my sole opinion.

I really loved this book! The magical system was so unique and tied into the islands in such a cool, mysterious way- it made the whole world feel alive while I read this book, and I felt like I was living within the pages.

Did someone say pirates??? Yes, please- I always love reading about pirate crews and sea adventures, and this book totally delivered. Now, what about Romance? The romance was such a good slow burn, with the perfect angst and forced proximity tension that actually felt so natural. I loved the main character, Vivienne, she is smart and grounded, just the type of female characters that make me want to pick up a book and read.

If you're into pirates, slow burn romance, magic, and a bit of danger, this one is definitely a book you would want to pick up and read!

This was a fun and swoony high seas adventure, with dangerous quests, romantic chaos, and lovable characters.
The worldbuilding is vivid and magical, and I was honestly torn between the MMC's and their messy dynamics.
There is a lot of delightful tension and intrigue, broody and possessive males, pirates, magical trials, and lurking danger. I loved the resilience and strength of Viv, and her quick thinking to save them on their adventures.
Excited for more of this series!

I'd like to start out by thanking the author for gifting me an eArc of The Enchanted Isles.
I really enjoyed this book and can not wait to read the second book.

The Enchanted Isles follows librarian apprentice Vivienne Banner as she embarks on a daunting exhibition to a mysterious island, by order of the King, following the disappearance of her parents.
Joined by her best friend Lewis, the two are thrown out of their comfort zone aboard the Zephyrus especially when the handsome Commander Thorne puts them to work mopping the deck. To make matters worse the ship's Navigator is none other than her ex fiance who she may or may not still have feelings for. Everything Vivienne thought she knew about her parents and her kingdom is a lie. On a mysterious island where everything wants to kill them the four must race to find the key to breaking a curse placed upon the Kingdom of Fendwyr before the villainous Enyo and is his cronies can.

This book has it all magical curses, angry goddesses, ancient ruins, mythical creatures and plants that want to eat you. Who needs a love triangle when you can have a square between an apprentice Librarian, a sarcastic Botanist, a flirtatious Navigator and a chivalrous naval Commander.
The Enchanted Isles is an epic start to what is sure to be one of my favourite series in the future. I can just feel it.

Although it took me 10 days to read, I believe if I had the time I would have binged this in a day or two.
In this book we follow our FMC Vivienne, who is a librarian, who finds out her parents research voyages weren’t exactly what she had been told - this is after they have been deemed missing/presumed dead and Vivienne is tasked with following in their wake.
We have 3 love interests, Lewis, Cirrus and Commander Thorne.
Although she chooses one at the end of the book, I’m totally hoping the commander wins out in the end. He has Spunk.
Definitely a fantasy read, minimal romance (a kiss or 2).
Magical lands and sea adventures await those who delve into this magical world

ARC review

This was a fun and unique read! This book has pirates, a quest that had a fun treasure hunt vibe, some unexpexted twists, and a love square (no spice). I’m still not sure which MMC I am rooting for! There is also an intriguing hint at God magic that I’d be interested to learn more about. I also really enjoyed encountering some unexpected plants and creatures while she was on the island. I look forward to reading the next book when it releases!

Thank you to the author and to the nerdfam for allowing me to read this e-book in exchange for my honest review.

Vivienne’s journey through a cursed kingdom and across dangerous seas had me hooked from the first page. I loved the fast pace, the clever world-building, and the dynamic relationships — especially the love square (yes, not a triangle, a square — and I’m obsessed). The development of these relationships is needed and I cannot wait to see how the romance elements play out as the series progresses.

The twists kept coming, the villain was delightfully unhinged, and the crew’s banter gave the story so much heart.

If you love fantasy with romance, high seas, chaos, and unforgettable characters, you NEED this on your TBR.
Can’t wait to see where Vivienne’s story goes next! Thank you to @thenerdfam and Alycia Anderson for the gifted earc of The Enchanted Isles

Ughhhh. The book hangover! I stayed up until the sun came up reading this magical story to prepare for book 2, Isle of Ember.

From the dedication (as the eldest daughter, I feel SO seen in this book!) to the very last page, I was hooked. I identified with the FMC, Vivienne, in so many ways. The 3 (yes, THREE!) MMCs all have a piece of my heart for how they care for Viv. This book has history, adventure, pirates, gods and goddesses, banter, sarcasm, tension, magic, a curse, and so much more!

If I can't be Team Why Choose I am TOTALLY Team Owen Thorne, but I won't lie, I'm a bit frightened of what she has in store for them on this journey. 😱

I am jumping right into my ARC read of Isle of Ember. I don't need to sleep. I need to know what happens!! And I'm crossing my fingers that I don't have to wait an eternity for book 3, cuz I already know I'm going to need it ASAP! 😍

This is a new favorite, and you're absolutely brilliant, Alycia E. Anderson. 🫶🏻

Thank you to The Nerd Fam and Alycia Anderson for a gifted ebook copy of The Enchanted Isles. All opinions are my own.

Vivienne Banner has spent her life at the Library of Métis with her antiquary parents, until they go missing at sea. Vivienne believes her parents are still alive and makes a request to the king to set out and find them. But her meeting with the King reveals the secrets of a curse and now Vivienne and her best friend Lewis are caught up in continuing the quest her parents kept hidden from her. Vivienne and Lewis must travel to the Isle of Verdance with the crew of the Zephyrus, and fight to survive dangerous plants, creatures, and a rival mercenary crew.

The Enchanted Isles is a fun, fast-paced fantasy novel, that delivers adventure, romance, and mystery. I really enjoyed this first book in the series. Anderson brings great pacing and suspense to the story, with the quest that the characters find themselves a part of. I enjoyed the aspect of them navigating a dangerous island and fighting to survive its elements, while searching for answers to breaking the curse on their kingdom.

I also really enjoyed the romantic storyline in the book, even though it involves three love interests…Vivienne’s best friend, an ex-fiance, and a member of the Zephyrus crew. They all seem like a great choice…so far…and I’m looking forward to seeing how Vivienne navigates her feelings for them. Vivienne also has some great character growth in the story, especially when she discovers the secrets that the King/kingdom has been keeping about the reasons behind the curse.

I’m definitely looking forward to continuing the story in the next book of the series! If you love found family, complicated romance, adventure on the seas, secrets/mystery, cursed kingdoms, and action/suspense, then I would highly recommend The Enchanted Isles.

The Enchanted Isles follows Vivienne Banner, a sheltered apprentice librarian at the Library of Metis, following family legacy. After news of her parents going missing at sea, Vivienne uncovers secrets about her parents’ previous voyages that lead her on her own venture, tasked with travelling to an unknown island to try to end a decades’ long curse that has plagued her homeland, whilst also trying to solve her parents’ disappearance.

The Enchanted Isles was both thrilling and enchanting, with an epic quest, trials with deadly stakes and gripping twists that kept me glued to the page.

Vivienne, our lead protagonist, is an apprentice librarian; following in the footsteps of her parents, she is quite sheltered and the effects of a lifetime of ridicule and belittlement from her parents is prominent. Throughout the story, however, we see Vivienne go through a sort of metamorphosis, becoming a fierce, independent force to be reckoned with, and a leader in her own right.

Vivienne sets sail with her childhood best friend Lewis, whose expertise in botany comes in handy throughout their adventure across the island full of unknown flora. Also aboard the Zephyrus is a diverse crew with a range of colourful personalities, each of which were fun and brought their own additions to the story and group.

I really enjoyed the plot of The Enchanted Isles. I found it quite evenly paced and it gripped me from the start. I also enjoyed the romance subplot; Vivienne has three potential love interests, two of which she has history with, though both for very different reasons. I’m very excited to see where the rest of the series goes, to find out the conclusions to some of the plot lines that were left open in this first book, and to find out whether Vivienne ends up with the love interest I want her to 🤞

Thank you to the author and The Nerd Fam for the digital arc! This review is my own.

I am floored! This was such an adventure, not just for the characters, but for the readers as well. The Enchanted Isles is a book you do not want to miss. It is full of trials, tension, problem solving, team work, sorrow, pride, and so much more.

Vivienne doesn’t realize it, but she’s about to go on the expedition of a lifetime. Throughout this book, from beginning to end, we see Vivienne grow in her confidence and her skills. She has always been extremely smart, now she just has to put those hours of researching and reading to the test. I really enjoy Vivienne’s character. She is charismatic, witty, determined, compassionate, and resilient. I mean, who wouldn’t love her?! Must explain why three different guys are in love with her.

Speaking of which, this book is a love square, but in my lil brain, I hope it turns into a why choose. Time and more books will only tell what truly happens.

Outside the characters, the plot and story of this book were phenomenal. We have a clear issue from the beginning that starts to spiral into more than anyone could ever imagine. Vivienne simply wants to find her missing parents, next thing she knows, she’s on a perilous journey, not only in the hopes of finding them, but to uncover an ancient artifact that could break her kingdoms curse. I had such a fun time reading the trails and tribulations the crew went through on such a dangerous island.

Now, I do not want to spoil anything for you all, so I fear I must stop here before I share too much. Please take my word and read this book! I am on the edge of my seat for book two already; I want to know what the crew faces next and if they’ll break the curse.

Thank you Alycia E. Anderson for an eARC of this book. This is my full, honest, spoiler free review!

The Enchanted Isles by Alycia Anderson
Book one in the Enchanted Isles series

Thank you to The Nerd Fam and author for an early copy of this book!

Dangerous, high seas quest to break a curse, found family, librarian FMC, banter, forced proximity, monsters and dangerous plants, love square - who will she choose?, low spice

Vivienne's parents are late getting back from their expedition, and she just got word they have been assumed d*@d. As if that wasn't terrible enough, she and her cousin will need to move out of their home as it came with her parents position. Vivienne seeks an audience with the king to seek help with a rescue party and to keep her home. But she ends up learning she has been lied to all her life and then is ordered on a dangerous quest. She sets sail to break a curse but ends up finding even more terrifying information on the mysterious first isle.

The found family of the ship crew was great and the crew were quite funny. Vivienne also has to deal with mixed feelings about 3 different men who end up on this quest with her: her best friend botanist, her ex-fiancé navigator, and the straight laced commander. I enjoyed Vivienne's journey of becoming more sure of herself and her expertise as the story went along! Will be continuing the series to see how our crew handles the information they found this book!

Okay so this took me about a week to read because there was a bit of a slow start. Once they hit the seas, I could not put this book down. Vivienne has such a character arc in book 1, and I can’t wait to see where she goes next (literally and figuratively).

The world that Anderson has built is truly amazing and reminds me of Neverland with the unexpected terrain, animals, and curses! Granted this may only be true for the first island the crew visited.

The characters? Amazing. I loved the banter and each side character is still filled with such personality that it’s so hard not to love all of them (except of course the villain). The love square left me feeling confused in the best way because I didn’t even know what I wanted to feel. I was definitely pleased by the ending though ;).

If you like amazing adventures, new worlds, banter, sailing the seas, and a strong-willed FMC. This is for you!

Thank you TheNerdFam and Alycia Anderson for this ARC! Though, this does not affect my rating or review.

If you are looking for a fantasy book with adventure and a quest, look no further! This story takes us on a grand quest with an FMC (Vivienne) to not only find her missing parents but find the cures to a curse (that she didn't even know existed) to save the kingdom. Her best friend Lewis is tasked with accompanying her and once on board she finds her ex fiance is part of the crew, and a task motivated Commander who keeps her guessing! But it's not just her crew looking for the elements needed for the cure, a band of mercenaries and murders are competing against her and they are ruthless.

The adventure, the trials and the betrayal from the King kept me turning every page with a fury. I had to know what happened next. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to finding out what happens next in book two, Isle of Ember.

Adventure, a royal quest, magical creatures and a hint of romance.

This one took me a little while to get into but be patient it picks up.

Vivienne - smart and feisty librarian (think Eve in The Mummy, not the Tom Cruise one, the good one with Brendan Fraser)

Lewis - the long time best friend and gardener to the king

Cirrus - the jilted ex-fiancé or has a knack for star reading.

Thorne - the ship commander and avid skinny dipper.

I loved seeing the growth of Vivienne and her inner battle between the 3 males she makes her journey with. The beautiful landscapes set the perfect backdrop for this story and they also add to the plot as they are full of new magical creatures, curses and blessings.

There is a lot of banter. Like ALOT, but it adds to the story and lets you get to know the personalities of those characters.

I am looking forward to reading further about the adventures this quartet get into and maybe seeing if Vivienne’s heart stays on the path it’s on or forges a new one.

This was such a fun read! The world building was so good and it was easy to envision myself on Verdance. Once they set sail the story really picked up and the fast pace swept up into a hike stakes adventure. As their journey progressed I liked getting to see Vivienne grow into her own person out of her parents shadow.

I also loved the found family in the crew of the Zephyrus. The romance square was not as much at the forefront, more like hinted at/slow burn? I definitely know whose team I'm on and I hope it goes that way in future books lol.
