Whew—Alpha and the Dragon Queen absolutely sizzled! Alana Grant took the classic forbidden love trope and turned the heat all the way up with a dragoness who crashes—literally—into a wolf alpha’s world. And from the moment she entered the scene, I was hooked.

Dragons and wolves? Completely off-limits. In this world, paranormal species are not supposed to mix—vampires, shifters, dragons, wolves… all kept in their own lanes. But this book laughs in the face of rules, and I loved that. Grant's imagination is wild in the best way, creating a vibrant, untamed world where anything is possible—and where breaking the rules might just save everything.

The chemistry between the main characters was off the charts. The MMC (the broody, commanding alpha) and the FMC (a fierce, no-nonsense dragon queen with fire to match her attitude) had scenes that were sharp, snappy, and sexy as hell. Every interaction crackled with tension, and the banter had me grinning more than once. Their connection felt real, even with all the paranormal chaos swirling around them.

What also stood out to me was how much depth was woven into the worldbuilding. It wasn’t just romance and heat—there’s a deeper story about unity, power, and what it means to challenge ancient laws for love. And honestly? I am so here for it.

If you're into forbidden romance, powerful shifters, and fast-paced fantasy with a bite (and lots of heat), this book is a must-read. I can't wait to see what Alana Grant writes next—because I am now officially obsessed with this world.

This was my first book by Alana Grant. The description really grabbed my attention and had great potential, but the actual story fell a little flat for me. I felt like this could've been a sequel to another book, not an independent read. Some part of the plot left me with questions, making the storyline hard to follow at times. Several descriptions and phrases were repeated in chapters and the book as a whole, almost like they were just copied and pasted. A little more editing would have been nice. That being said, I do plan to read other works by Alana Grant as I love the genre and think I could enjoy her other stories.

Okay, the book moves at a good pace and a lot happens quickly. Dragons and wolves are not supposed to mix but that goes for all of the paranormal shifters and vampires. But in the mind of this author nothing is impossible and all shifters can mate. This is why I love this genre so much the authors are not afraid to take liberties with it and create new and exciting pairings. This book is definitely worth reading if you love wolf and dragon shifters.

Just a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was awesome. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Their love was a forbidden and the moment is going to get chaos and madness of drama. Andrew and Selene chemistry was spicy hot and the passion was mind blowing of tension and danger in his path. They couldn't even fight the temptation any longer in this moment. One night with him will change their lives forever as we know it.
I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones

I really enjoyed this book and how the author brought this new and vibrant world together. I liked the MMC and FMC. Their scenes, were sharp, snappy and very sexy. There was not a dull moment in the book and ai was thoroughly entertained from start to finish.

I enjoyed this story. Lots of fun to read as a wolf and dragon get close though they are not supposed to which causes issues. Had me laughing and groaning but I was entertained. Drama and the characters kept the story interesting. Plus get the alpha wolf vibes too.
