Hot and sexy! This was a short and quick story but it was really steamy and hot. Dane is in town for his best friends wedding and mistakes his best friend Cody's sister for a hooker. This was a pretty good storyline that was really hot. Not really much drama or angst and a lot of sweetness. Loved the epilogue!

Dane Coulter's childhood best friend and Special Forces teammate, Cody, is getting married this weekend. To Dane he's mourning the death for their bromance, the death of them being teammates on the frontline. That is until he intercepts and spends the night with the hooker hired to go to Cody's room for his bachelor party. Dane spends the night of his life with a woman he can't get out of his mind. That is until she's shows up the next morning at the rehearsal breakfast. The thing is, she's not a hooker. Now Dane is falling hard for Bambi aka Tina. Is he falling into the same trap as his buddy Cody? Is it really a trap or just the next step in his life.
This was great... hilarious. The story even had a workaround to the insta-love, since they've known each other for their entire lives. For a short story it was fantastic and had everything some full novels don't have.
This was my first Sabrina York book and I can say I will most definitely be looking to read more.

Oh my goodness! I loved, loved, loved this story! The sex was off-the-charts hot! And I mean HOT! The characters were witty and so entertaining.
Dane can't believe that his best friend and Ranger team member is tying the knot! He shudders at the thought of ever settling down to one woman for the rest of his life. Heck, the bachelor party is even a bust since Cody won't allow strippers or hookers - his head almost exploded when they told him they had already paid for a hooker and she was on her way. Claiming a headache Dane heads out early only to run into the hooker in the elevator. She's all kinds of hot and Dane figures why let her go to waste, so he invites her back to his room for an amazingly sexy, hot, night of no-holds barred loving.
Tina Marie can't believe her luck when she stumbles upon her childhood crush in the elevator. As the best friend of her brother she knew she would see him, but not this soon. Quickly, realizing that he doesn't remember her hurts, but when he mistakes her for a hooker she decides she is all in for the chance she's always wanted. And boy does she get what she's always wanted and more. She expected Dane to be a take-charge kind of guy, but he's more than that. His dominant side is sizzling and Tina Marie knows she'll stop at nothing to get more.
As always, Ms. York's humor and witty writing is on full display. I honestly don't think she could not write a story that doesn't leave me in awe of her slightly sarcastic, yet always smartly written style. I bow to the master.

When Dane learns that he not only slept with his best friend's baby sister, but tied her up and spanked her, too I laughed out loud. His reaction and the reaction of all of the guys when they learn she is Cody's sister is hilarious. Tina Marie is nothing if not tough and outgoing. I loved how she didn't take any crap from Dane or Cody.

This was a short quick read with a really hot cover. Dane Coulter is mourning the loss of his best friend, fellow Special Ops buddy, Cody who is not dead but is getting married. They ate doing Vegas one of the guys in the bachelor party hires a hooker who thinks he is hooking up with. Dane is a kinky Dom when e goes down to breakfast the next morning he finds out that Bambi is really Cody's little sister Tina Marie. Tina has always had a crush on Dane and even though he thought she was a hooker she wanted to be with him. This was a good read that was fast and quick. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

Dane Coulter, a Special Ops Ranger , recently wounded , is feeling very bad because his best friend, and one of the men on his team, Cody, not to mention a friend of his whole family since he was very young, is getting married! The whole team actually is in mourning but Dane worst of all! They all head to Las Vegas for the next few days!
The wedding is to take place in Las Vegas and his friend Cody- in his opinion is acting totally whipped! At his bachelor party , he freaks out when he finds out there is going to be a stripper! Dane is so disgusted with Cody's behavior, he pleads a headache and makes his way back towards his room! On the way to the room, he encounters a lovely young woman who he perceives as the hooker, tells her that her services are no longer needed at the Bachelor Party and would she like to spend the time with him? She gladly accepts, and they have an awesome night of sex, and Dane does things to her that are awesome, but very kinky to say the least! Lets just say it involves Dom/Sub behavior, ropes and spankings, and lots of hot hot sex! In the morning when he sees Cody, his friend is all upset about the hooker actually showing up and how he had to get out of there before his wife to be finds out!
Later that day when all the families have arrived for the wedding dinner Dane is horrified to find out the "hooker" he had last night is in fact an important part of the wedding party! Not to mention he has known her since she was a little girl! So starts Dane's excruciating guilt, but the overwhelming desire to have her again and again, but breaking the man/brother code is making him feel guilty and act crazy! The woman is loving every minute of it as she has loved him since she was a young girl, and he paid her no mind! So this said woman goes out of her way to tease him and flirt and make him mad and it is so fun to read!
This story continues on and the angst, sex, and laugh out loud moments I had from reading this were truly memorable! I won't forget this soon, and I love the fact that his best friend is not the only one that winds up whipped, blinded by love and had to ask for forgiveness for touching the other brother's younger sister- a sin in the man/brother code!
I love how Sabrina York writes this tale up, how she kept the book fun, enjoyable, and had me laughing frequently, but most of all I love how this story ended! Read it-you will be so glad you did!
I gave this read 5***** well deserved stars and look forward to my next read from Sabrina York! She never disappoints!

Perhaps I’m fickle, but I have a lot of book boyfriends. They are strong, and dominant and sexy, and I love a lot of them. But it’s been a while since I genuinely and thoroughly liked a heroine or enjoyed her antics as much as I enjoyed Tina’s in Whipped.
In Vegas for his best friend and fellow Army Ranger’s wedding, Dane is convinced that marriage is tantamount to death. On his way out of the dull bachelor party, he runs into what he believes is the hired stripper, and takes her to his room instead for a private party.
The groom’s sister, Tina, is fresh from a sexy makeover at the bachelorette party and wants to taunt her brother, Cody, with her new look. On her way to his room, she runs into Dane, her brother’s best friend and her crush for most of her adolescent and adult life. He does not recognize her, but she recognizes the interest in his eyes and is not about to pass up the opportunity for a night with this man she desires.
What ensues from there is just sexy, adorable and funny. I couldn’t help giggling at Tina’s deviousness at the thought that Dane would “shit a brick” when he realized who she was the next day, and simply laughed out loud at the image Ms. York portrayed of Tina’s actions when Dane was finally introduced to his best friend’s baby sister. Tina was saucy and irreverent and just adorable. The dialogue in the book cracked me up as well, as Dane’s and Cody’s friends all realize who Tina is and have to adhere to the “bro code” of not sleeping with a buddy’s sister.
I have not read anything by Sabrina York before this, so I did not expect the amount of humor contained in this book. But rest assured, her books have now made my “to be read” shelf. I originally assumed that the “whipped” title was referencing a kink, but after reading the book, came to realize that it was more a commentary on the status of the men after finding the women of their dreams. Whipped was funny, it was sweet, it was hot and sexy, and it was just a total surprise how much I enjoyed this fluffy little piece. I’m hoping that we see the rest of the Army rangers in future installments, for no other reason than I would love to revisit Cody, Dane and Tina again.

This was a short quick funny romantic read. Dane Coulter is in mourning for his best friend, his wingman- Cody. It is all for him now- he is getting married. After leaving the worst bachelor party ever, because Cody says no strippers, he heads back to his room. On the way he sees what he believes to be the hooker that they had purchased for the party coming down the hall. He stops to talk to her, flirts with her and she follows him to his room.
Tina, is all done up for the bachelorette night, lots of makeup, high heels and tight skirt when Cody makes a pass at her in the hall way. She has had a crush on him for years, and he does not recognize her. She eagerly follows him to his room and has the best night ever.
“So do you have any no-nos? Anything you won’t do? Because I’ll be frank. I like a little kink.”
He ties her up, but is gentle and kind, he spanks her. She wakes him up in the middle of the night and they have round two. It is an amazing night for both of them. She leaves before he wakes up.
Later that day he is confused as he sees her with the bride. Then Cody says “You remember my baby sister Tina Marie.”
That is it, guy code, no sleeping with the sisters. No chance of anything now. But Tina is not willing to abide by guy code. Will there be a chance for them? What will Cody do when he finds out? I definitely think that you need to get this book to find out. It was a great little story and I would rate it 5/5.

A case of mistaken identity and a crush on a brother's best friend realized is the perfect combination for this very short and steamy read by Sabrina York. Dane isn't one to waste a perfectly good and pre-paid escort. When he runs into the person he assumes is the hooker for his best friend's bachelor party he decides to enjoy his good luck. Dane figures if his best friend is too whipped to take advantage of his last moments of freedom, he wouldn't waste the opportunity. Dane is in for a big surprise. Tina Marie has had a thing for Dane for a while and has never been able to catch his attention. In the outfit she's wearing after being made up for the bachelorette party she has gotten more than his passing interest and won't waste her chance to be with Dane either. With a bit of luck Tina Marie is in for a night that she will never forget. Whipped was a fun and fast read!

The restraint Dane has with Tina is non-existent, "he shuddered and released a sigh that sounded like a wheeze. "You're killing me, baby. Killing me." He makes some delicious promises, "goddamn, it Tina," he snarled, yanking the snap to his jeans, yanking down the zipper, thrusting her legs farther apart with the press of his body. "I'm going to eff you, and eff you good." I loved how Tina pushed Dane to his limit where he would just act and not think, "he sprang to his feet and rounded the table, thrusting out a hand. "Dance." One word. It was all he could manage. And not an invitation. A command." I can't wait to see if the other boys get a book.

Sabrina brought the heat with this one and with it she added the humor!! I loved it from page one all the way to the end!!

HOT HOT HOT sexy and right to the point! The storyline/plot was very humorous! And the romance was sexy, steamy, smoldering, scorching and did I say HOT?!?!?!?!?
What an awesome way to introduce myself to a new author, Sabrina York. This is a very quick read and I will not give away the plot (because I never do) but it isn't disappointing nor does it leave you wanting more! It was just perfect!

I absolutely luv anything Sabrina writes! Her stories are always smexxy and fun. Loved the idea of being in Vegas for your BFF's wedding only to discover you've fallen head over heals for his baby sister! How can you break the ultimate bro-code? Highly recommend!!

This was a really fun read. The premise of it is really funny.
Dane is at his best friends bachelor party/wedding and he is pouting. He doesn't like that his wing man is getting married. While he likes his buddy's fiance, he just doesn't like that he is taking the plunge.
So he leaves the bachelor party because he thinks it's lame and goes and looks for some female company. He finds a woman and has the night of his life. Turns out the woman was his best friends little sister.
The rest of the book is her trying to make him jealous and breaking the unbreakable bro code.

All he has to do is tell his best friend and accept that he may not want to be the last man standing . . . . .
The Bottom Line: Whipped is delightfully naughty little read that I would have liked to have seen go on for a bit longer. Tina is funny and smart and determined in her quest to have Dane. She has spent her life loving him and refuses to give up on the possibility of being with him because of some dumb code. Her tactics are naughty and ruthless and make for a damn entertaining read. Dane is so convinced about the course of his life that he is practically blindsided by Tina. Tina not only fulfills him sexually but is a match for his wit, charm and, stern nature. In fact, Tina isn’t the least bit concerned by all of Dane’s posturing and calls him out on it when she needs to. Getting to their HEA is a whirlwind and that HEA is finalized with an epilogue that is both funny and sweet. In all, a fine read!

Well Whipped has to be one of the sexiest, sweet, with a good dose of humor thrown in, novellas that I have read. This is a new to me author and I am so glad I picked this book to review.
When Dane is in Vegas for his best friends wedding he never expects to become Whipped like Cody. He is there for a good time, catching up with his family and Army Ranger friends and nothing more. He is also mourning what he sees is the loss of his friendship with Cody to marriage and is determined never to fall under a womans spell. Until a case of mistaken identity has him questioning his vow. Enter Codys' sister, Tina, who is in the bridal party and all too aware of her brothers best friends and subject of her crush since her teenage years. When Tina realises that Dane doesn't recognise her and the opportunity presents itself to make her daydreams about Dane come true, she grabs it with both hands. Surely he can't deny their chemistry? But when he wakes up the next morning and realises what he has done and who he has done it with, he does, invoking a guy code about never dating your best friends sister.
I really enjoyed this story and could have easily read more about this couple. Tina had certainly grown up from the shy little sister that Dane remembers and she was sassy and confident and I really liked her character. She knew what she wanted and went after it, with playfulness and determination. Dane was strong, sexy and knew what he liked in and out of the bedroom, dominant and self assured in his actions but Tina really throws him for a loop and I loved seeing this man succumb to Tina's play for him. Even though it was a really short novella, I was still able to feel the desire and attraction between Dane and Tina and I thought the author balanced the characters present day and history really well. I was easily able to see the characters personalities and get into the story with them. I loved the funny situations they got into and I loved the banter between Dane and Tina. Their sexual chemistry was off the charts and I felt they really suited each other. The epilogue was really sweet and funny, a perfect ending for this novella.
I enjoyed the secondary characters as well, particularly Cody and Dane's parents, they just made me laugh. Their Army Ranger buddies each contributed to the hunour in this story and the way they all rallied around the idea of the "hands off the sister" code was hilarious. As yet, there is no talk of exploring the storys of the other characters but I would love to read more about them and hope that they all have their own novella.

This is the first book I've ready by author Sabrina York and she did something I really enjoy... she made me laugh and she made me feel like this story could really happen to just about any of us. It's all about chemistry and she clearly knows it. If you’ve been fortunate enough to have one of those freeze in your footsteps, love at first sight, type of romances, then this will stir memories. If you haven't, then this will provide you some fun filled fantasies!
Gorgeous main character, Dane, is at his best friend’s wedding. She’s thrilled to see glorious Dane, her brother’s best friend since… well, since she was nine! He is struck with her beauty and body and her smile. Tina quickly realizes that not only does Dane NOT recognize her but he thinks she’s a hooker! She’s alarmed and a bit miffed! Fun, hot sexy short read!
Dane Coulter , army ranger is in Vegas with his best friend Cody and his special ops team not for an op but for Cody's bachelor party and wedding, though it does feel more like a funeral. Cody has changed since meeting Angie, he is ofthe same guy Dane grew up with Not the same guy who constantly was chasing women, hell he just told them to cancel the hooker and strippers for his bachelor party! Dane can not take anymore so within excuse of not feeling well he leaves and on his way to the elevator runs into the hooker, what the heck, her services are paid for might as well take advantage of them.

Damn Guy code! Tina however is brash and bold and keeps pushing Dane's possessive dominant side making for a few humerous moments along with some hot sexy epsodes!

Loved this! It was not only sexy as all get out, but it was funny as heck.
Dane Coultler is a Special Ops guy, who happens to be "mourning" over his team leader who happens to be his best friend Cody Anderson. Not because he is dead, far from it...his best friend since childhood is getting married! Oh, yes his friend got truly whipped into real love and is getting married! Dane is Cody's bestman. Dane is having a hard time grasping how his bestfriend got whipped. To the extent, a hooker was hired for the bachelor party and Cody said "no go" to that before she even arrived to the room. The guys can't believe how whipped he is, this is Sin City, Las Vegas!
Dane knows, as bestman there are wedding breakfast, wedding rehearsals, etc. to go to....what a long couple of days this is going to be. Thank God all his other Special Ops buddies will be there too. Dane runs into the hooker in the elevator, no sense in wasting her trip. She is gorgeous!
Tina just got a makeover, at the all girls bachelor party she just attended. It is time for her to go up to her room. While in the elevator, the man she has pined over and is head over heels for since she was young, steps into the elevator. It is her brother's best friend, the man of her dreams, Dane Coulter. It' been years and he does not recognize who she is. This will be such a treat!
Here is where the fun begins. It is steamy, funny and just a nice hot story. The epilogue is priceless. I had never read anything from Sabrina York before. She did such a great job at writing this story. I hope she makes this into a series about all of the Special Ops guys from their team.

Whipped is a relatively short story at around 50 pages but I certainly enjoyed it!
Mourning the loss of his best friend (to marriage, not death) alpha male Dane takes solace in the arms of a hooker for a night while in Las Vegas for the bachelor party and wedding of said best friend. Unfortunately, the ‘hooker’ is actually his best friends sister, Tina. The morning after, with no knowledge of who the mystery woman really was, Dane is shocked to see her cosy-ing up to the bride and even more disturbed to find out he’s broken the bro code (a few times!) with his best friend’s sister – a massive no-no if ever there was one. Unfortunately feelings start to come into the matter and Tina and Dane find themselves unable to stay away from one another or stave off the jealousy when they see the other speaking to someone else when they’re apart. Will Dane give in and confess his attraction – and maybe even love – for the out-of-reach sister of his best friend since childhood?
Overall this was a decent short story and the genres that fit it best are, I believe, contemporary fiction and mild erotica. I found the characters to be well written and introduced and their personalities really came through the authors writing. I would have loved a longer story with more in it but for the length it was good. As an enjoyable but quick read, I can imagine that this would be a great addition to an anthology.

GREAT book I love it .Dane is mourning his friend Cody not because he is dead lol but he believe Cody's Life is over .Dane and Cody have been friends for as long as they could remember they even are in the same military unit together . Dane is gonna give him the best bachelor party ever but it turns out to be a drag Cody wont let the stripper come to the party so Dane slips out and heads to his room and there stands a beautiful dressed all sexy and Dane take her for a Stripper what he doesn't realize its Cody's now all grown up sister Tina that who has always has a crush on Dane and have had so many dreams about her being in his bed she thinks wow this just may turn out to be one fun night ,Oh there is the best friends code of honor that you don't date your friends baby sister its diffidently a no no.Cody hits on the woman he believes is a stripper ask her back to his room she agrees it becomes a very hot night for Cody and Tina well Tina slips out before Cody wakes up and joins the wedding party for the rehearsal dinner . Cody wakes up and find Tina gone he was hoping to go one more round he thinks oh well he had fun while it lasted then he realizes he is running late for the wedding rehearsal dinner so he rushes and gets his shower and goes down stairs to the wedding party and notices Tina sitting beside Cody's soon to be bride then Cody introduces everyone and comes to his sister and say i know you remember Tina!!! Cody is at a loss for words his eyes are as big as half a dollar he starts studdering there is loads of humor in the book and Love.. you have to buy the book to find out about the rest the book . I have to say it is one of the best i have read this year.!!!!! Wonderful job Sabrina York 5 stars

Ok I will admit... I was on the fence about this short story. Some of the words the author used in the beginning of this book.... Was kind of putting me off. Words like "patooey", "da-ham", & "no-no's. Just didn't seem right to me.
But... I moved on & gave the book a chance. And I'm glad I did... Because this short story was hot & sexy! I loved it! I could totally feel the attraction between Dane & Tina!!
The way this book starts off is at a Cody's pretty sorry Bachelor party that's in Las Vegas! Instead of drinking & strippers... There's drinking and watching TV.
Not your ideal bachelor party!
Dane is the grooms best friend. He feels like he's loosing a brother. They did everything together.
The grew up together... Are in the military together... & use to chase women together. Dane kind of feels betrayed by Cody. Leaving the good life to marry a Woman.

Ok I will admit... I was on the fence about this short story. Some of the words the author used in the beginning of this book.... Was kind of putting me off. Words like "patooey", "da-ham", & "no-no's. Just didn't seem right to me.
But... I moved on & gave the book a chance. And I'm glad I did... Because this short story was hot & sexy! I loved it! I could totally feel the attraction between Dane & Tina!!
The way this book starts off is at a Cody's pretty sorry Bachelor party that's in Las Vegas! Instead of drinking & strippers... There's drinking and watching TV.
Not your ideal bachelor party!
Dane is the grooms best friend. He feels like he's loosing a brother. They did everything together.
The grew up together... Are in the military together... & use to chase women together. Dane kind of feels betrayed by Cody. Leaving the good life to marry a Woman.
Dane is sure that will never happen to him. He will never fall for just one girl when there's a buffet out there!
A chance meeting & a case of mistaken identity... Dean runs into Bambi... Aka Tina...his best friend sister!
He doesn't remember her right away... But when he does... She knocks him on his feet.
This story was a fun and quick read. I loved the way the characters interact with each other. It had just enough if everything. The sex was off the charts!

I adore Sabrina’s writing, so I know I am prejudiced – but her humor and snarky heroines with their deadpan delivery is a winner every time. Dane is at his best friend Cody’s stag party – and bored to tears. Cody has nixed all the fun, and nearly strokes out when the boys tell him there is a hooker / stripper on the way. Dane decides to get some of his very own, so he leaves to ‘run interference, and stop the girl in her tracks. Tina Marie is thrilled to see her childhood crush, and brother’s best friend in the elevator. Sadly, he doesn’t remember her, and he thinks she’s a hooker. But, taking a chance – she goes with the story to get a taste of what she always longed for. And it is off the charts hot, she expected that but what she got was so much more from the very take-charge Dane. And, when he finally learns that he has tied up and spanked his best friend’s baby sister…..
