When she isn't working, or finding inspiration around the world, she is reading and writing as much as she possibly can. The library often catches her carrying stacks of books almost as large as she is. She loves anything fantasy, especially fairy tales and children's books.

As the editor (and having read an earlier version as Ilana's professor), I'm biased, but this story is really something. It blends science fiction and fantasy deftly, and it manages to get a complex world across without beleaguering the piece with needless exposition.
