In this book set the week after book two we rejoin Stella and new friend TJ as they meet Rachel, one of the girls in the group of four they always see around. She is rather shocked to discover Simon from The Vault is her brother as they're so different!
Except Rachel collapses and her friends ditch her while Stella stays and keeps approaching her to hang out. As she finds out Rachel probably has epilepsy, Rachel asks her to go with her for her tests at the hospital, as she becomes a little more a friend.
As she judged Rachel to be in her own world bubble saying what she likes without thinking, Stella keeps her grounded and discovers Rachel possibly has a freaky sixth sense too as she reveals her visions related to the Joseph house family and Stella's granddad too as the mystery around the old house develops on.
The girls also bond a little after a period starting situation which is a big deal and a good point to be made in a young teen older children's book. The book also teaches the lesson of not judging a book by it's cover and giving everyone a fair chance.

**GENERAL REVIEW FOR THE SERIES**
As a result of my devotion to McCombie's "Ally's World" series, I was very eager to read these books, to the point that I had my da order them for me online at a time when that wasn't really a thing. They weren't exactly easy to get my hands on. To this day, I'm still waiting to get voted off the island. Oh well.
I remember really enjoying the dynamic in these books between Stella's pursuit of new friendships, helping people in their hour of need, and trying to discover the history of her ancestors and how they connect her to the small, seaside town of Potbay.
The sad thing is, I'll never know how it ended. I never managed to get my hands on the seventh book. I eventually moved on to other books and by the time I saw it in a Waterstones while on holiday in Spain, I had outgrown the series and didn't bother. I also gave all of my Ally's World and Stella Etc. books to my younger cousin. A teeny tiny part of me regrets that now for the sake of my childhood and the fact that you simply don't see the books in shops anymore.
McCombie's books are highly recommended for the 9-12/13 age group and reluctant readers, serving as an excellent gateway to the wider world of reading.

Ini buku seri 3 yang menceritakan tentang Rachel. Rachel tergabung dengan geng cewek beken, terdiri dari Rachel, Kayleigh, Hazel dan Brooke.
Awalnya, saat berenang di kolam renang umum Portbay, Stella dan TJ terkejut ketika geng Rachel menyapa mereka dan bertanya sana sini (dengan sinis) tentang asal usul Stella. Tiba tiba saja Rachel limbung, pingsan dan jatuh tercebur ke kolam. Stella & TJ segera menyelamatkan Rachel. Kejadian yang sama terulang saat Rachel mencoba menyanyi di kafe Shingle. Tiba tiba saja ia pingsan.
Sejak kejadian pingsannya Rachel, keadaan berubah. Teman satu geng Rachel menjauhinya, dan Rachel pun merasa kesepian. Saat inilah Stella datang untuk menjadi teman Rachel. Awalnya TJ tidak setuju untuk berteman dengan Rachel, mengingat jahatnya Rachel pada Stella dan TJ. Tetapi, berdasarkan insting Rachel yang 99% dan 1%, serta persetujuan dari Peaches si kucing jingga, akhirinya Stella menjalankan juga aksi untuk menjadi teman Rachel.
