If you ever buy chickens and your chickens grow up to one meter in a couple of months, have a lizard's tail, eat pit vipers, battle wild boars and speak to you, then you are allowed to assume that your chickens are in fact not chickens.

You can also possibly not worry too much about giving your "chickens" their shots, like Shouhei Sano over here was fretting about.

In fact, you can be very certain that the random festival stall sold you cockatrices instead. Which is not any better that what your neighbours from the nearby mountains got.

A.k.a. a full fledged dragon and a lamia.

I understand that the MC was slightly in denial at first - I would have probably been unable to sleep properly at night while convincing myself that the mountain water is drugged - but I had bigger expectations from the village people. Poor Sano calls you in a panic because his chickens hunted down a ffcking wild boar and the village people's reaction is: wild boar hot pot.

Oh, and: "Your chickens are pretty big."

Yea... not that big unless one of their parents was a very open-minded emu or ostrich.

Or a dinosaur considering the reptilian tails.

Nevertheless, 4.5 stars for the comedy and MC's attempts to convince himself that his chickens are normal.
