Sonja Madden knows she’s a submissive. But she is not a Little.
At least, that’s what she tries to tell herself when a gorgeous silver fox of a Daddy comes into her life. Try as she might to resist Derek’s patient, protective dominance, everything he offers her appeals to her on levels she never expected.
Bit by bit, she finds herself falling not just for Derek, but for the Little inside her she’s refused to acknowledge for so long. The more Derek pushes her limits, the more pleasure she finds in their play.
Not everyone is happy about Derek and Sonja’s newfound happiness, though. And when a ghost from Derek’s past comes back to haunt him, it leaves Sonja questioning what she really knows about the man she calls Daddy.
Karen Nappa is an Amazon bestselling author of Seasoned BDSM romance with HEA. Her books are available at the popular retailers and include series such as the Club Indigo series and The Quinn Quartet.
Immersed in the D/s lifestyle herself, she writes realistic albeit romantic stories. When not dominated by her cats or her Master (in that order—even if it earns her a spanking!), she loves going places to discover the stories waiting to be written.
She resides in the Netherlands with her dominant husband, two adult-ish sons—and whoever they might drag home with them—and, of course, her two Chausie cats. If she isn’t writing or texting with friends, she’s probably reading, running, or listening to heavy metal.
Sonja and Derek’s love story is the third stand alone story in Karen Nappa’s amazing Club Indigo series. In this case, there’s nothing more precious than a mature Daddy Dom discovering his forever Baby Girl. Don’t miss this spicy romance. It is a 4 on the spice scale, and has a storyline that added to my music playlist, is filled with intrigue, and ends in a Happily Ever After.
Sonja has had a hard life. When she was introduced to the lifestyle it was a shock, especially when Derek explained age play to her. The story is good with a happy ending. I would have liked more info on what happened to the deranged ex!
This was a very enjoyable read about a couple exploring their kinks and lives together. Sonja and Derek are such likeable character's and I really enjoyed reading their romantic journey.
This book was not what expected I there would be more ddlg but I still very much enjoyed it even though I believe there should be a TW about some of the topics. In my opinion it’s definitely a tear jerky but I do love sassy fire the main girl character has it’s very independent and entertaining. Derek on the other hand I thought was really determined in what he wanted and saw what the feisty lady needed in her life. The characters are amazing with plenty of depth in their attraction to another they to me are are opposite of each other I love that Derek doesn’t allow negative self talk. I couldn’t believe how much this story has in it so much detail, Adventure into one’s inner self, dangerous action packed from a crazy woman who doesn’t know how to let go. Lots of great heartfelt talks, steamy moments, unexpected feelings, not giving up vibes, thank goodness there is a happy ending I for sure want to read the rest of this series with all the side characters!
I thoroughly enjoyed this third book in the Club Indigo series. Sonja and Derek were really good characters to fall in love with. Derek was a mature dominant who knew what he wanted, and when he met Sonja, he knew she was the baby girl for him, even though she felt that she wasn’t a Little, Derek could see it in her and took his time with her, and eventually they were able to overcome her past history, and especially the danger that they were in from his previous relationship. I love the happy ending, and I especially loved how Derek was self positive, and didn’t like Sonja putting herself down.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.
Love Derek and Sonja! Between her “scare”, their crazy stalker and everything in between it is amazing to see the two of them stuck together. It is obvious Derek is perfect for her from the beginning. You can go wrong with this one and I can’t wait to read book four.
